I probably shouldn't have watched something sad like the Rikkai Final 2 backstages (which aren't SAD necessarily, but there's senshuuraku crying and whatnot) on the night before what may well be for me my last TeniMyu ever ;____;

But I did. And kept myself from getting too morose by capping the shit out of T2 because, surprise surprise, they are ichaicha as always XDDDDD ( Cut in an effort to contain their immense gay. )

So, the Rikkai Final 2 CD got released (check tenipuri_myu if you haven't seen the upload), and it's reminding me now, listening to these songs again, why I really love this cast, this incarnation, these songs, this musical, despite the predisposition to NOT liking Rikkai I had going into it. TeniMyu, you crazy bastard you!

Like, god--RYUUKI. Ryuuki. I had a hard time trying to decide who I liked better as Echizen, Shougo or Ryuuki. They're both so great, both great singers, great actors, had their characterizations down...but maybe just because I've been exposed to Ryuuki more, I love this boy. The sheer emotion he gives so unemotional a character as Ryoma in Kurayami ~ Boku wa Dare 2 minutes in--he's fricking crying tears of frustration, and that's an awesome thing.

And I want to have Masuda's voice's babies. I feel a little pregnant just from ima omae ni yarou, ore no yoyuu...

I know I already mentioned this way back when, but Shinogi wo Kezuru Mono-tachi is totally one of my favorite songs in that show (probably my favorite non-Graduation-related song at least).

Lololololol at one point I didn't really like 5th cast's ballad, GOD WAS I STUPID. 1st cast singing it and now attaching all these memories to it has made it totally sdifuhsildfusd ;___;

Tsuji's gotten really good at singing, or at least sounded good 1 min into Level Up (which btw I love also :P). Also lololololol T2 mini duet in that song for a whole 1 verse? XD

Ebo's crying during his opening line of Banzai ;_____; ilusm Ebooooo ;_; But holy FUCK does Shouta sound ADORABLE after it. That boy brings the absolute cuteness and excitement back to Kikumaru, ffffffff this BITCH.

Hell, I just love the crap out of this entire show, especially the final 20 min or so ;___; IS IT ONE WEEK FROM NOW YET?! <--BECAUSE THAT'S WHEN THE DVD COMES OUT 8DDDDD

I swear TeniMyu tries to kill me. Today, on the mobile site, they uploaded this long-ass interview with Tsuji and Shouta about their feelings on the show ending and parts of the final Rikkai match second half ;___; I'm not going to translatet the whole thing, because it really is pretty long, but one of my absolute favorite parts is this:

Tsuji: "It's mine and Shouta's second time to have a match together, but the biggest difference between last time and this time is that we had a song this time... We sang about the feelings we had for each other as partners, working in songs from previous shows. That was really big."
Shouta: "Yeah. It was really tough getting the singing and dancing to match up. And on top of it all the song itself was pretty up-tempo..."
Tsuji: "It's like, we really wanted to sing it happy and brightly, but honestly we were working hard the whole time! (haha) While having a good time, of course."
Shouta: "Yup, and we also practiced a lot to sync our breathing. Like sitting around with Tsuji-kun reading the same script together."
Tsuji: "We did that~"
Shouta: "Or after rehearsals we'd go out to dinner together and talk about stupid stuff, or about performances."
Tsuji: "Now that I think about it, we've spent more time together just the two of us than any of the rest of the cast."
Shouta: "Yup--and I think that's why, with each passing show, it felt more and more like, 'Ah, our breathing's in sync~'"

--So tell us about the graduation scene in the winter shows.
Shouta: "My first thought about the graduation scene is that it was a dark, sad time. So I wanted to really honestly portray Kikumaru's feelings of sadness, but we were actually told, 'The Golden Pair should have a bright, happy conversation.' We'd had to sing a song about parting ways during the summer shows, so I really couldn't help but feel sad...but Ueshima-sensei told us, 'You should be an Oishi and Kikumaru who've overcome their sadness and are purposefully speaking to each other normally,' and when I heard that, I started to understand and agree, and wound up doing it to my satisfaction. Like, it's fine to just listen to what Oishi has to say and respond naturally, without betraying my feelings."
Tsuji: "That first time when I call out, 'Eiji'..."
Shouta: "There were about 20 different versions of that name-calling! (haha)"
Tsuji: "I'd change up how I said it a lot of the time, but Shouta would always get right on board and go along with it, so I was always able to act really naturally."

I know most others on the flist haven't seen it yet, but I always thought it just...felt a little weird and forced for Eiji and Oishi to be so normal and happy after their graduation. I guess I can see how they would be? That Eiji, despite his feelings of sadness, wouldn't want to show them in front of everyone and would try to be happy and genki, but...I really really wanted to see Tsuji and Shouta just lay it all out there as their characters ;_;

Ah well, at least we got to see them baring it all at senshuuraku as themselves XD also sdfsudhfisufsd sharing scripts and spending more time with each other than anyone else. ANYONE ELSE BITCHES. even baba?!

Well, the senshuuraku live viewing of the Final Match Rikkai 2 just ended...and holy shit did it hurt a lot more than I thought it would ;_; I thought it'd be fine, it was just the second to last Myu, even if it was the last official one that would follow any sort of story line. I was so, so wrong ;_; THEY MADE THIS STUPID THING FEEL LIKE BURIMYU SENSHUURAKU GDI. ( Horrid details behind the cut >_> )

Well THAT was unfulfilling...

Woke up at 9 AM and remembered with a jolt that both TeniMyu Live Viewing tickets as well as *pnish* room tickets were going on sale at 10 AM, CRISIS AVERTED. Unfortunately, it still didn't mean I had any better chance of getting them >_> Tried for *pnish* tickets on THREE DIFFERENT FRONTS and didn't get a SINGLE ONE. Same story with TeniMyu tickets until I got lucky at a loppi machine after I'd lost all hope ;_; Nabbed a Shinjuku Wald Theater ticket (the main Tokyo theater that TeniMyu rents out every screen to show the Live Viewing on) on row G, but kind of off to the side. STILL! Way better than my LAST ROW TICKET last time!! *dances*

Luckily, the Room tickets were only advance sales, and so maybe I can get more people to help me get some next week at general sales *crosses fingers* If not, there's always Y!Auctions or Mixi, and the hope that there might be toujitsuken~ *not giving up*

And, juuuuust to make my day even better starting off...oh, Nagayan.

Picked up some of the copies of Rikkai Final Box 1, and guy does it feel like it's been a long wait! I'm ripping it as I type, and *should* have it up for download in another 24 hours, so please be patient and console yourselves with 170 screencaps :D Please be aware: it's 90% T2/Golden Pair so...XD SO YOU KNOW IT'S AWESOME. What the hell -- I just found out my best friend from 3rd grade through middle school (and then we drifted apart a bit but were still very close even through college) who I haven't spoken to in 2 years (just cause we got busy in our separate lives) IS GETTING MARRIED FRIDAY.

I met the guy once, 2 years ago (the last time I saw the friend) when she brought him home for Christmas to meet her parents. I'm just kinda bowled over that we drifted that far apart :/ Granted, she's really active on facebook, which is how I found out (...through ANOTHER friend seeing it and telling me) but...well, email?

I hate facebook so fricking much. And I can't stand people who use it as their primary means of staying in touch with others. It's such a BAD SITE XD;;;;;

In other news: anyone know any good challenge comms? Not to join, but for me to pick off challenges from XD Those little things like "50_kisses" or whatever. I mostly just want the prompts, cause I have an urge to write little things and want some kind of format to follow.

Also, I have the Inui+Kaidoh duet from RikkaiMyu stuck in my head and don't know why. I only know, like, 2 lines from it, though. So those two are on constant repeat in my head and it's getting FUCKING ANNOYING XD;;;; I like the song, but sheesh.
