So yeah.

Apparently Tuti signed with an agency (all these years he's been "free" meaning he finds his own jobs as opposed to people like Nagayan and all the rest of *pnish* which have managers to help them out). I wasn't sure if it was just some old info that hadn't been updated or something, but as Mitsuru has now commented on it, it's pretty much official.

I really don't know why but...it kinda depresses me? It just disappoints me. All this time, I thought it was really cool--he was finding his own work, didn't have a manager herding him around, was his own man, and now...

*sigh* gah, I mean, it shouldn't matter. None of the other guys have managers that seem to hang around them like Tamacchi does Nagayan (or at least, not that I've ever noticed), so it shouldn't be that big a deal. And I don't THINK it's because he's having trouble finding work (or maybe it is? Gah >_<), but still...

It feels like everything's changing :/ I just hope that, in the end, the good changes outweigh the bad.

I understand your feelings and I'm a little disappointed too...however, if I can do a little speculation for a minute, I think that its probably a business move on Tuti's part that has more to do with having a good amount of work than having too little.

With every production/job, there's a ton of paperwork, phone calls, negotiating, appointments (for example, some production companies, for insurance purposes, require actors to have a doctor sign off on their health), stuff to remember, you get the idea. Add that to a busy rehearsal schedule (+ all the outside work of memorizing lines and such), and having to look for new work in the future (which can take up a bit of time, previewing scripts, networking etc), and you've got a huge load. A load that is probably doable but more prone to mistakes and that doesn't leave time for, you know, boyfriends and stuff. ;D Anyway, so it makes sense to divide up the work.

I hope that makes you feel better about the situation...I know it sucks to have (y)our image of him shaken up like that. :)
