fencer_xI bought a ticket, I mentioned the other day, to the December 8th On6 showing on yahoo auctions, and despite the fact that it's a really good seat, the price is going to be a mere 1000yen more than the base price--which makes me very happy.
However, all my Y!J auctions I pay for with furikomi (money transfer) which thanks to work I can only send off on Mondays. So far all the sellers have been fine waiting a few days, but I was worried because this seller would have to wait almost a week, so I made sure she was fine with that in an email.
She emailed me back saying it was perfectly fine, but added that she was worried the ticket might not reach me in time if she waited til receiving my money before shipping the ticket to me (I can't send it til December 3rd, and the show's 5 days later).
So this girl is sending the ticket to me tomorrow. And trusting me--a GAIJIN--to pay her. I calmly (well, as calmly as I could) thanked her and said I'd try and ship it off before the 3rd if possible then XD
And I will never ever tire of being complimented on my Japanese. Well, maybe after 20 years if I'm almost fluent then XD

Date: 2007-11-27 01:42 pm (UTC)What's kind of funny though is that a few years ago, I was selling a ticket to a show and had that same problem, where I knew that the ticket wouldn't get there in time unless I sent it before I got the money, and so... I sent it off. ...Of course I never saw that money, but... Well, what did I expect, right, being... not Japan and all. :P :P
