I chatted for a good hour or so with Eri-san today on MSN messenger! WHAT AN EXPERIENCE! And now I'm spoiled for American friends forever, sorry guys. I'm gonna be talking to no one but the Japanese from now on, because

fencer_x の発言:
Ah, is this Eri-san? Is it okay to use kanji? Or romaji? I don’t mind.

eriko の発言:
Hi!★This is ERI. Romaji or kanji are fine, either way★

fencer_x の発言:
Ah, good good~then I’d like to say first off…that chatting like this in Japanese is a first for me, so please forgive the slow, bad Japanese!

eriko の発言:
It’s not bad at all vv You’re really good ★ And fast too!!

eriko の発言:
I feel really bad not being able to speak English.

fencer_x の発言:
No no, it’s nothing like that at all~ Rather, this is even better for me. But if you’d ever like to have an English conversation please please let me know!

eriko の発言:
I’ll be counting on you then! Right now I still really really can’t write anything but simple English, but I’d like to chat in English after I’ve gotten a bit more confident in it★

fencer_x の発言:
Right, it’s settled then (haha) Is English a school subject for you?

eriko の発言:
Yup★”I love tuti !!” That’s about all I can say in English ★ Can you speak Japanese??

fencer_x の発言:
Yup, a little at least. For me, speaking is a little more difficult than writing, so I prefer to write. But I hope to become better at speaking by having conversations with more native speakers.

eriko の発言:
Oh~!! That’s amazing ★I admire you for that~vv Guess I’ve gotta work harder too! vv

fencer_x の発言:
Ah, it’s almost 2 AM there isn’t it? Is this all right? You not sleeping right now?

eriko の発言:
There’s no school tomorrow, so it’s fine if I stay up past midnight—that’s how it is (haha)

fencer_x の発言:
Ah, I see! Well then, do you have any weekend plans?

eriko の発言:
My weekends, depending on the week, can be busy or not ★ This weekend, though, it looks like I’ll be able to take it easy~vv

fencer_x の発言:
Ah, that’s nice~Today my two days of rest ended. Starting tomorrow I’ll go back to work, and it looks like I’ll be busy for a while. But earning money’s not bad (haha) If I can’t go to Japan I can at least have Japanese things sent to me!

eriko の発言:
Ah that’s right, there is mail order huh v It’s so convenient★Oh, right right, there’s something I wanted to ask you—how did you get to know Prince of Tennis? I’ve always wondered that (haha)

fencer_x の発言:
Ah, so there it is, that question! (haha)

fencer_x の発言:
Actually, I don’t really remember that well (haha) It was around summer 2004, though. Have you heard of ‘fansubs’?

eriko の発言:
‘fansub’? It’s the first time I’ve heard that!!

fencer_x の発言:
Yeah, 「ファンサブ」(in romaji it’s ‘fansub’) is when a fan living in Japan records and anime episode, then sends it over the internet to friends, and someone else translates it, and then they send it out to lots of people. For most people living overseas, this is the only way to come to know about Japanese anime.

eriko の発言:
Wow, that kind of thing exists huh!! Amazing ☆☆ So, that’s how you learned about TeniMyu as well??

fencer_x の発言:
right! But the first time I saw a TeniMyu it was in Japanese only. It was really a learning experience! And thanks to that I started wanting to learn more and more about TeniMyu, and started buying merchandise. My wallet’s hurting (haha)

fencer_x の発言:
I can’t go to Events or Lives, but I can see them on DVD at least vv

eriko の発言:
I’m poor in TeniMyu as well (weeps) But I realized during Dream Live 3 that TeniMyu is really getting to be popular on a global scale!! I saw a lot of people coming from overseas vv

fencer_x の発言:
Yup! And pnish events too! Just the other day some friends left on a trip to go see Treasure Box, all the way from America! (I believe they’re going to Monday’s show) And before that another friend went to HappyPani. I’m kinda jealous, sure, but at the same time I’m really happy for them all~

eriko の発言:
That’s so amazing!! It’s really something to welcome, coming from far-away America! I think I can understand your happiness too v that feeling of half of the happiness being jealousy☆

fencer_x の発言:
Whenever they come back, everyone has nothing to say but, “All the Japanese are so so kind!”~I really can’t wait to go myself! Though I don’t know if I’ll be able to make it to next year’s HappyPani6 in time or not…

eriko の発言:
You’re coming to Japan next year??

fencer_x の発言:
Yup, it’s looking like I’ll get there one way or another! After I graduate next May, it’s off to Japan!

eriko の発言:
Ooh!! That’s wonderful☆Your first time setting foot on Japanese soil huh vv

fencer_x の発言:
(haha) Exactly. And my first trip abroad too! Since I was born!

eriko の発言:
Waah☆Congratulations then~vv So, do you already have plans set up for coming to Japan??

fencer_x の発言:
Well, kind of. Do you know the JET program?

fencer_x の発言:
If I apply and am accepted into that program, I’ll be able to teach English at Japanese middle and high schools, apparently. I’ve been interested in Linguistics for a while now, so this looks to be a fun line of work!

eriko の発言:
Ehhh~I see☆At the middle school I went to there were teachers from England and Canada there☆ They might have come to Japan through that same program huh vv

fencer_x の発言:
Yup, they might have! A few acquaintances of mine are already working there through that program. And if I’m in Japan working, then I might have the chance to go to TeniMyu and BuriMyu and pnish events!

eriko の発言:
Aha, that’s true! vv It’d be nice if we could go together to pnish events and TeniMyu when you do~vv

fencer_x の発言:
Ah~if it’s fine with you then please please take me along with you (haha) I’m in your care~I’ve got absolutely no experience whatsoever with the world of Japanese theatre (haha)

eriko の発言:
I probably won’t be much help, but I’ll work hard! (haha) vv

fencer_x の発言:
I’m sure that’s note true at all~You’ve been to pnish events right? I’ve wondered this for a while, but how did you come to know about pnish?

eriko の発言:
I have gone to some! vjust a little(haha)I found out about them when I heard that two of the people who were in TeniMyu (tuti and Eiji-san) had formed a group vv

fencer_x の発言:
(haha) me too!

fencer_x の発言:
Those of us living overseas mostly all heard about them the same way. Through TeniMyu.

eriko の発言:
It’s a really ‘stage’-like way of coming to know them (haha)

eriko の発言:
If it hadn’t been for TeniMyu, I probably wouldn’t be cheering them on now.

fencer_x の発言:
Probably huh. And it was through TeniMyu that I also became interested in Nagayan’s works as well

eriko の発言:
That’s right! I’m the same!!

fencer_x の発言:
So when did you see your first TeniMyu?

eriko の発言:
The first one I saw on DVD was Dream Live 1st, and the first one I saw live was Hyoutei (summer) ☆

eriko の発言:
Ah! Before that I also saw Dream Live 2nd live vv

fencer_x の発言:
Ah, how nice that the first one you saw was Dream Live 1st! So much fanservice! (haha)

eriko の発言:
With Lives, unlike musicals, you can make all the noise you want, so it’s really fun!♪

fencer_x の発言:
Watching DreamLive 3rd earlier I saw it really was that way. Everyone sang together with the actors~

eriko の発言:
We got to sing fuchufuchu~♪all together (haha)

fencer_x の発言:
(haha) right! When I see such a fun Live as that, I think, “Aah, I wish pnish would all 4 be in a musical together! v not just tuti and moriyama-san, but Daiki-chan and wasshi too! I want to hear them sing also!

eriko の発言:
pnish doesn’t have opportunities to sing together that often, but after the performances you can shake all their hands!☆ I’m always nervous during that! I never know what to say!!

fencer_x の発言:
My friends who went to see Treasure Box said the same thing! They were babbling in English, “I don’t know any Japanese! What do I do?!” But in the end they got to shake hands with them anyways, so it was good enough they said

eriko の発言:
Japanese is really important for those handshakes, too ☆ Oh! Well, I’ve got something to get done, so I’ll step away now ☆Let’s chat again when we have time! vv Today was really fun vv I’m gonna go study a little more English for our next chat (haha) well then~vv

fencer_x の発言:
See ya!

I have Japanese MSN messenger, hence why there's Japanese on all the reply lines XD BUT OMG ISN'T SHE THE CUTEST THING EVER? I love how she uses stars and music notes and little "vv" signs even in chat XD imagine mamo's chats now 8D I can't wait to talk to her some more XD I wanna fangirl TobePani with her, but don't think she's gotten it yet. Gotta check~

And gah, if I go to events with her, I'll probably go with noumin too since they're really close, and while Eri ships MomoEiji I think, I KNOW Noumin's a hardcore GP/TxN shipper 8DDDDDD Now that? BEST. MYU GOING-TO. EVER.

WOAH that's so cool.

I know talking to Jenni online and when I'd talk to my friend when she went to Japan it's cool talking in real time but to talk in Japanese in real time? All you need to do is be right there and you've enclosed the last portion.

XD Im sorry I've been commenting too much today! but still its so cool.
