fencer_x: (WHAT.)

lolololol

Today I went to see Panic Cafe a second time, and although there wasn't a talk event scheduled, TakiYuki informed us after the show had ended that the five of them would be holding an impromptu talk show, all five of them! Which I was psyched for, as well, umm, TAKIYUKI.

The highlight of it came, for me, when they were all asked to describe the person to their left using one kanji character, and Yoshikawa (the waiter) was asked how he would describe Akasawa (cute KY uke shota boy). After a moment's thought, he prefaced his response with, "Now, I don't mean this in a weird way..." so we knew it was gonna be good XD He mentioned that Akasawa was overflowing with cuteness and that he made Yoshikawa think for the first time that a guy was cute XDDDD The others were all, "Umm yeah ngl that still sounds really weird, you know XD;;;" and he kept trying to dig himself out of his grave and failing XD

Yoshikawa has a crush on Akasawa y/y?? (I'm not saying I ship them, I just thought it was hilariously adorable XD)

The show itself was just as good, and Hayato was, once again, a bundle of nerves in front of the audience during the show. idk what his problem is?? XD It's not just nerves, he flat out CANNOT TALK, has a fit almost when he's not performing. He's an excellent actor! I loved watching him! But...just, being himself? Good lord, I'm worried for him, seriously! XD;;;

Also randomly: the girl sitting next to me was watching the GradMyu backstage on her ipod before the show XDDDD *mental high-five*

From Mitsuru's latest entry:

Ah, right! Next January those *pnish* boys will be performing "Panic Cafe" as a Produce performance, huh.
I can't wait to see who'll be in it~

.............WAIT. WHAT? Where the fuck did she hear this? It's nowhere on the official site, no DMs have come or anything that I've seen, and no one else has mentioned it, buuuuut if this is true, WHAAAAAT?!

She brought up the point that Tuti said at Meiji-Mura he doesn't have any plays planned for next year until March, so he may not be in the show (since well, only ONE member has to be in it technically for it to be a *pnish* Produce show) OR it may've just been something that had to be kept under wraps at that point.

I really want Wasshi at least to still be the waiter, though :/ And Daiki and Eiji have to be Toumine and Miyasaka! THEY JUST HAVE TO BE D: Panic Cafe was the very first honkouen I ever saw for these guys ;~; PLEASE DON'T FUCK IT UP AS A PRODUCE SHOW!

First things first: Brokeback Mountain is now playing in the local College Station Cinemark theater. WHAT.

CALOO CALAY WE'LL SEE MORE GAY~

*cough* *composes self*

On another note, I am giddy with the fact that Nagayan, MoriEiji, AND Tatsuya all posted almost the exact same picture of them on the bullet train back to Tokyo. I can just see MoriEiji being the poor one by the window who had to take the images, and everyone just passes their phones to him telling him to take a pic so they can hurry up and post to their blogs ♥

AND SPEAKING OF *pnish*

So, I had some time last night, and since I'd just finished downloading some of the *pnish* performances, I decided to see what they were all about. Sure I love the guys, they're fricking adorable, but I'd never actually seen them perform. Only random little backstage clips they host on the site, pictures from practices and such. So I popped in Panic Cafe...and was BLOWN away.

Now, they're a comedy troupe for the most part, I knew that--you can't have a guy like Tuti in your group and not do comedy at least MOST of the time. But...WOW.

I was happy to find that I understood perfectly a good 75% of the show, and the rest I understood enough to get what was going on, so it was very enjoyable for that. Everyone's performances KILLED me, though! Tuti acting the cool criminal, Daiki the scared reporter (with some surprisingly intense emotions o_O), MoriEiji the loud cameraman, Wasshi the clueless waiter, and their guest, Nitta, was awesome! The dance at the end! GAH! Do they ALWAYS do a dance at the end of their shows? Cause...WOW, that was some GOOD dancing, and you could just see how much they'd practiced, it was flawless!

I seriously did not expect them to be this good, this FUNNY, this--just WOW. I can't wait to see the other DVDs. Just won the *pnish*on vol.4 DVD on yahoo Japan, and I know [livejournal.com profile] kooriyoukai has her own copy ordered, so either way I'll get to see it *giddy* If EVER I get the chance to see them live (please please don't do anything like BREAK UP before 2007-2008, ne?), you can damn well bet I will be. It's been so long since I've seen a play live, and this reminded me how much I enjoy them! Wonderful, just wonderful--if you can see it, DO SO. It's WELL worth the effort.
