Fun note #1) As read in the latest issue of Japan, Inc.: "Salem Pianissimo was specifically designed for Japanese young female smokers by RJ Reynolds and was subsequently acquired by JT back in 1999 when it took over a range of Reynolds' product lines."

(For the not-in-the-know, Tuti smoked Pianissimos until a yearish ago XD;;; SUCH A MANLY MAN.)

Fun note #2) Gaku says in his post wishing Eiji happy birthday that he has known the man for 5 years. 5 years ago it was 2003, and Eiji had just finished the TeniMyu Tsuika Kouen and was nowhere near even thinking of BuriMyu.

SO WHERE THE HELL DID HE MEET GAKU?!

Fun note #3) IT MAY STILL BE REVERSE HISTORICA. _o_ I give up. I GIVE UP. (look at the link name in your address bar)

Fun note #4) I ordered groceries online and now my fridge actually has STUFF in it o___o

SO! Today was a holiday for the entire country. Except for me. Because my job is amazing except for the parts when THE BOSS ASKS US TO COME IN ON NATIONAL HOLIDAYS. Seriously >_> I understand that the main reason he asked us to come in is because there's a project we're trying to get done by the end of the month, so he needs us in whenever we possibly can spare a moment, but still ;_;

This also meant I had to play sly-like in order to get an hour off to run to Shibuya and stalk Gakustalk Gaku. As many of you know, the Husband made some hats. They're nothing really special, and I actually have one just like them already that has the Gain logo (some of you may also recall this drabble in which Nagayan got "We're Fucking" stitched onto the hats ^___^)

But I'm me, and as part of my wifely duties, I have to buy all Gaku's crap. Plus he was gonna be there >_> soooo I DRAGGED myself out of work to go to Gain and make him think his crap's worth $50 :P

I was kinda worried that there might be a line (HAHAHAHAHAHAAAA) so I made sure to get there early, and sat around outside of Gain (which wasn't open yet) around 11:20, when the hat was supposed to go on sale at 12, and was the only one for a while. About 15 minutes later, another girl showed up, and another one after her 10 or so minutes later. By 10-til-12, there were five of us waiting altogether, which was pretty good since there were only 9 hats XD

Gaku showed up a little after Tenchou and headed inside while we waited, and a little after 12 Tenchou and Gaku came back down to tell everyone they could come inside now. Gaku kind of led everyone up the stairs, and since I was the first one there, I kinda got to be at the head of the line and stare at Gaku's ass as we went up the stairsgo up behind Gaku. As we're walking up, he's engaging us all in small talk, and he sees the shirt I'm wearing (a pink 3/4 sleeve with GAIN written on it in big letters...seeing as it came from Gain :P) and says, "I've got a shirt just like that! I love it, I wear it aaallll the time :DDDDD" (Me: "...I know, I saw 8D")

Let me stop to take a moment here to let you all know how much of an awesome loser Gaku is ♥ He was wearing an Anten shirt (the triple collab with Gain and Blossam) and had a strange dark bar going diagonal across his chest, looking like he'd spilled something. When one of the other girls pointed it out, asking what it was, he flailed about, embarrassed. "...It's sweat, from wearing my bag..."

HAHAHHAHAHAHAHA. OH GAKU. OOOHHHH GAKU. I really wanted to just, die laughing there. But I maintained some semblance of tact XD;;;

When we all sardine'dassembled inside Gain, Tenchou asked us to gather round, because there was a little problem. As we could see, Gaku was wearing a black cap like the ones going on sale. There were 9 caps total: 2 red, 2 blue, 2 orange, 2 yellow, and (originally 2) 1 black. That meant one person could buy the black cap that "matched" Gaku's.

Understanding that many would probably want the black one to match Gaku's, they had decided to draw lots. Two of the girls admitted they were just there to see Tenchou (hahaha XDDDD), one of the others withdrew, and so it was down to just another girl and me :P

Tenchou handed Gaku two playing cards (from this naked-guy deck [imageshack seems to be down at the moment though :/], which Tenchou admitted to having provided XDDDD), one of which had "atari" ("winner") written on it, and had us pick.

Well, with a 50/50 chance, it was kind of hit or miss, eh? I WON XD The Hat, in all its glory:

After making my purchase I explained that I'd LOVE to stay and chat, but unfortunately I had to return to work. Insert much Gaku spazzing about "wtf work on a holiday and WTF WORK? LIKE IN TOKYO? OMG MINAMI AOYAMA? THAT'S. LIKE. CLOSE. WOW."

*digs hooks into the guy some more* >D

Re: the new Gaku hat that goes on sale today (that I'm sneaking out of work to go buy), from Gaku's blog:

"And the charismatic employee (me!) will be there as well, so anyone who's interested, come to Gain~!"

fuck.

Also, I woke up one hour late and am now LATE FOR WORK. WRRRRYYYYY couldn't I have the day off like the rest of the fucking country?

I just looked at a map really well for the first time in a while, and realized I'd been operating under the impression that Korea was north of Japan (up past Hokkaido) and China/Hong Kong/Taiwan and all that was directly to the east :D I fail at geography!!

In other news, I have been listening to the Japanese version of the Wicked soundtrack on nonstop repeat for something like 2 days now. Tomorrow is a national holiday, but I have to work YAY. I will be cutting out a little early for lunch in order to harrass Tenchou when Gaku's hat goes on sale at noon <3333

Going to see Aniki's and Abe's new play "Applause" this weekend with Liz hopefully, definitely excited!
fencer_x: (Happy V-Day)
Totally left [livejournal.com profile] lavenderlilly hanging in our IM convo, but I kind of just got really tired all of a sudden and went to sleep o_O Sorry!

Before I drifted off, though, I started writing some random almostporn from later on in curryfic because I was inspired XD Tuti pushing Nagayama up against a door? Why yes that was what I wrote. YOU'LL HAVE TO WAIT FOR IT THOOUUUUGH HAHA.

In other news, went out to dinner and karaoke tonight again, had a faboo time again, love Saturday nights for this reason now <3333 I am slowly but steadily building up a list of songs that I CAN sing and not embarrass myself, so this is always a good thing :D

Apparently while I was gone, though it became official that PINK = NAGAYAN, and since we already had it made official that YELLOW = TUTI (well long before that, duh, *pnish*), I think this is cause for MASSIVE CELEBRATION. I mean, it's something we always referenced, but I don't think anything has ever come out this...directly, yanno?

GOD TENCHOU, WHAT YOU GOTTA BE SO FUCKIN' AWESOME FO??? I intend to go relieve him of at least one ([livejournal.com profile] analineblue? You want anything?) of Gaku's new hats (there are only 9 _o_) Tuesday, which may be easy or hard depending on whether or not my boss gives us the day off >_> It's a holiday, but sometimes he likes to have us work. Seeing as he's trying to get this website up, I'm thinking it's gonna be the latter. Which means running to Shibuya on my lunch break _o_ OI VEY.

[livejournal.com profile] hughes_maes, are we still on for tomorrow??
fencer_x: (Yesplz)
"So, here I am riding in a completely packed car for the first time in a while...
And of course my fly is WIDE open (>_<)
I am currently on the mission, "Zip my pants without anyone noticing."
Please pray that I am not mistaken for a pervert!!"

YOUR MISERY TASTES SO GOOD, GAKU. SO GOOD, SO GOOD. FUUUUUUCK XDDDDD Why is he such an awesome LOSER??

In other news: I watched the first ten minutes or so of Tuti's new drama Jiken Kisha last night before I had to run out to eat with friends. God, how long has it been since he's been in a drama o_O The last one I remember is Dounichi Love, but I know he has to have been in SOMETHING since then...

He was in almost every scene that I saw, and I hope this means he's a pretty recurring character. Unfortunately, I don't have a TV per se, so I couldn't record it all, but I do have TV on my cellphone, so I whipped out my digital camera and recorded what I could XD The clips are up on youtube: 1, 2, and 3 (the third one's still processing, so it might not be up yet).

Clip #2 there includes a REALLY REALLY short shot of a certain bitchy prima donna doubles player playing the son of the police chief (I think), AOYAGI RUITOOOOOOO~ There as a much better shot of him earlier in the program, but I had NO idea he was going to be in it, so I wasn't prepared for the dose of shotabait-no-longer that I got, and scrambled to record this one >_< I promise to be more diligent in the future ;_;

Went to see Cats today in Japanese at the Cats Theater in Gotanda -- I took a few pics inside and outside the theater (inside = lobby area, because you weren't allowed shots inside the theater proper) and will upload those later, probably to [livejournal.com profile] japanorama to share with the fam as well, but WOOOOOOW. It's SO...WOW. I bought a pamphlet and will upload a couple of pics from it to show you guys, but it's amazing what you can do to a theater when there's only one show ever performed in it.

I was REALLY surprised also how often they came down into the audience! It reminded me of BuriMyu DX, where it felt like half the show was performed there XD There was even one part where Rum Tum Tugger came down, dragged this chick out of her seat and up onto the stage, and made the rest of us clap for her XD (note to self: if you go again, GET AN AISLE SEAT). Then at the very end of the show, they all came out and shook the audience's hands, and Mr. Mistoffeles (my favorite character <3333) shook our row's hands *____*

And I actually think the two guys sitting next to me who were totally on a date, one kept complaining wondering if he had enough time to use the bathroom and the other was all worried for him asking, "You gonna be okay? Can you hold it???" were former cast members o_O When one of them left to go to the bathroom, the guy nearest to me kind of settled into his chair, let out this big deep breath, and went, "Natsukashii..." ("This takes me back..."--meaning it was nostalgic). Forgetting the fact that it was kinda creepy he was talking to himself (but, well, Japanese lends itself to that I guess...) I'm wondering what could be nostalgic about it unless he had been in the cast before? It's Cats Theater, so only Cats runs there, and if he'd just been there once or twice as a kid, I don't think that'd be all THAT nostalgic. Kinda cool 8D

Random side note: I was reading through and noticed one of the actors in the pamphlet (they have a rotating cast, and he wasn't in our show) looked a little like Daiki or Mizuki--not strikingly so, but enough to kind of notice it, and I saw his name...

佐野正幸 (Sano Masayuki)

...................uuuuhhhhh.

MOTOKI-NII??? DID YOU CHANGE YOUR NAME??? It's probably coincidence--all these people could sing, and I don't think anyone related to Daiki or Mizuki could make it in there 8DDDDD

IN OTHER NEWS--CURRY BOY CONTINUES TO MESSAGE ME. WHAT?

I'm serious--I hadn't talked to him since MARCH when out of the blue a couple of weeks ago he messaged me to ask what I was up to, since he was home for a few days from Hiroshima, and wanted to see if I wanted to hang out. Since "home" for him means Gifu prefecture, next to Shiga, I had to regrettably inform him I had moved to Tokyo, and if he was ever around to let me know and we could hang out. He was bummed, but that was tough :P

Well today after turning my phone back on after Cats I got the following message:

"Courtney-san, how are you? I'm not doing so well myself..."

Me, I'm thinking, "...wtf?" Am I seriously the only one he can message when he needs someone to talk to? The random FOREIGN girl he had COFFEE with one day 6 months beforehand?? Uuuuhhhh okay XD I messaged him back asking what was wrong, and he proceeded to tell me he was feeling down because since moving to Hiroshima he hadn't really made any friends, and so I sent him back some bull about how I didn't have any friends when I moved to Japan and just went out and found people who had the same hobbies as I did, or went on trips to see friends since I liked travelling too (kinda true!). He replied that was a good idea, and asked what part of Tokyo I lived in, and how I liked it. I said Shinjuku, and said it was a nice area that didn't really feel so big-city, because it's pretty quiet, and he should come hang out when he's not busy.

His response: "Shinjuku! *haha* That's great! I'd love to come hang out. But...I can't stay at your place, guess I'll have to find a manga cafe to stay in!"

...........Oooohhhhhhh aren't we AMBITIOUS, Curry Boy? I see your reverse psychology there, Mister, and it's not working >_> You're cute, but not THAT cute. Nagayan, however, IS 8D

My primary concern now, however, is that ALL JAPANESE GUYS ARE THIS WAY. Good god, what's it going to be like ifwhen I marry Gaku?! Are our conversations going to be like this?

Me: "Oh welcome home, honey, how were rehearsals today?"
Gaku: "GOD TUTI ALMOST KILLED ME TODAY OMG YOU WOULDN'T UNDERSTAND THE SHIT I GET FROM HIM DDDD: AND TAKASHI NEVER SAYS ANYTHING! IT'S NOT FAIR!!"

(you know it's fake cause I'd never say "honey" <333)

I hesitate now the Do the Right Thing for Fandom because of this fear that once I show the slightest interest in him I will be his AGONY AUNT FOREVER. Help ;_;
fencer_x: (Eew.)
It would figure a matter of days after I grudgingly admit I had a dream where Gaku was not entirely unattractive like usual that he goes gay.

I mean srsly, dude. "Today I hung out with Kumakura-kun on a date-ish course involving okonomiyaki, Mr. Donuts, and darts!"

"Date-ish"? Date-ish? Gaku. Dude.

If it looks like a duck.

And sounds like a duck.

And swims like a duck.

And is cute like a duck.

And waddles like a duck.

...IT'S A DATE.
fencer_x: (Eew.)
I had a dream last night where I took my "Get close to Gaku so that you can get into the Myu circle" agenda to the next level and invited him to dinner with my family (yes, for some reason my family was there--and not just my immediate family, but my aunt's family and my grandmother as well, what.), except...

...Well, he was GAKU of course, but he was kinda goofy and a little charming, and not annoying at all and...

Shit I kinda liked it :((((((

I REALLY NEED HIM TO BE ANNOYING AGAIN. SOON. I hope this washes off >_>
fencer_x: (Gakuhate)
It's my last day of work now, and already it's more than half over. I had fun at this job, buuuut I definitely won't be crying when I leave today XD;;;; Damn English speech contests! :P

I'm going out tonight with the crazy English teacher and the cool English teacher, should be an interesting experience 8D I've already told them I can't be out too late, though...cause I haven't started packing yet 8D;;;; My bags are due to be shipped off in the morning, so, uh, I need to get on that XD

In other news: I HATE the Japanese policy of "only the person who opened/started something can close/end it, even if they give permission and all necessary info to a representative." This means I had to cancel my SkyPerfect TV myself--meaning I had to call them myself >_>--and deal with all that.

BUT, caloo calay they had an English menu option, so I pressed it and hoped for the best...and I actually got someone who spoke good English, YAY! Having never called a company and asked for an English speaking person, I wasn't sure if I'd even be able to understand them, or if they just kept a supply of gaijin in the closet or what, but the guy was really nice (...and sounded really young and hot, too >_> *ahem* Keisuke-saaaan...) and I think I got everything taken care of.

I pack tonight, ship my stuff off tomorrow, go say goodbye to the Superintendent and Mayor after that, kill time until we go for an enkai with the ALTs who are leaving Friday evening, and then Saturday morning I'm going to try for the 9 AM Hikari Shinkansen out of Maibara (my supervisor's being a doll and driving me to Maibara so I don't have to lug my bag all the way to the station myself XD;;) and it's OFF TO TOKYO FOREVAAARRRRR!!

I'm going to try and drop in on Tenchou to see if there are any scraps of Blossam left over from the sale, since [livejournal.com profile] daiki_dansu wants one of the babypenis!tank-tops, and am looking forward to telling him I'm all moved, so that he can tell the hubby to expect a lot more stalking <333333

Also, will have to inspect this apartment building further. The prospect of having Tuti for a neighbor gives me an UNQUENCHABLE THIRST FOR KNOWLEDGE. Yes, I know perfectly well Tokyo Rent probably owns the whole building, which is probably occupied by foreigners already. WHO SAYS HE WOULDN'T WANNA PRACTICE HIS ENGLISH??

Updates as they arrive ♥
fencer_x: (Eew.)
From this hot piece of manflesh's most recent entry (also check it out for the HOT pic of Tuti, good lord):

"However, there is one thing: I forgot my underwear. So now I'm not wearing any."

THANKS FOR CLEARING THAT UP. sooo....you ladies who went to the beach, no spotting of annoying backup dancers was had, eh?

Seriously. What the HELL?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR TENCHOOOUUUU!!!

So yeah, apparently Friday was Tenchou's birthday! MUST REMEMBER TO GO ASK HIM HOW OLD HE IS 8D

Also, [livejournal.com profile] lavenderlilly--want another excuse to go to Gain?? 8D Apparently there was supposed to be a little card that came with The Gaku Jacket, but Gaku was an idiot and forgot to bring them to Gain ♥ So he says that Tenchou should remember everyone who bought one and if you just go up and say something like "CARD KUDASAI" he'll give it to ya :DDDDDD WANNA BE A PAL??

I suppose I can go myself on Saturday, but you need to come with me--it'd probably be better if he sees proof that I know you and wasn't lying when I told him you'd bought it for me ♥

Me next to [livejournal.com profile] tayles and [livejournal.com profile] later_uk (with other members of our awesome group cut out D:) after the SUPER AWESOME FUN KG BIRTHDAY STREET LIVE!

There were at least 100 people there, probably more, and it was a blast having all the guys together for the first time. They did a bunch of the usual songs, talked a little, and even acted out the first 5 minutes or so of their recent performance of Mizuno Puma *_____*

The foreign fan faction definitely had QUITE a turnout XD [livejournal.com profile] lavenderlilly, her sister, [livejournal.com profile] umbrellaofdoom, [livejournal.com profile] tayles, [livejournal.com profile] later_uk, and [livejournal.com profile] daiki_dansu + me. We got to talk to all the guys, get autographs, etc (except for Sue, the Leader, because he's in Samurai Mode and had to hoof it to the theater after the performance since today was also Samurai Mode's senshuuraku XD;;;)

As such, I was finally able to get almost EVERY MEMBER'S SIGNATURE (except for Sueyoshi, like I said):

Leader I'll have to corner some time in the future, and then it'll be complete ^_~ The guys waited around for over two hours after the show to talk to fans, with Gaku being the very last one left, because as other members took their leave the girls who'd been hanging around THEM got in HIS line. HAHA. OOPS.

I talked to some of the guys for the first time today (Kuma, Kuri, and Yasu)--and it never bowls me over how NICE they are. Geez. Always smiling, always eager to do anything you ask--take a pic, sign something, do anything, and always so, so thankful that you came, no matter who you are. I'll miss them when they're as big as *pnish* ;_; Not that *pnish* doesn't show thanks to their fans--it's just a COMPLETELY different experience getting to be this close to these guys at this stage.

Tuti, Nagayan, Eiji, Daiki, Wasshi--you can't just take a pic with them at random, or talk to them after the show for 15 minutes when there's a line of others waiting. But these guys you still can for now, so it's really an experience I hope more people get to share in before they move too far up.

After the street live, Kuma, Kuri, and Tachibana all headlined a birthday event over near Shinjuku-gyoen-mae, which was in a teeeeeeny-tiny bar, but was ALL KINDS OF FUN. I'll post more about it later after I've recovered, but it was mostly them showing a video Gaku'd made of all this footage collected over the past year showing KG's growth as a group, was really awesome.

After that they took of their shirts and were sexy. Seriously XD Half-naked kickboxing was had, and it was good. And the auction!! The guys decided to have a charity auction, and all donated something of theirs to be auctioned off to the group gathered there today, with all proceeds going to China and Myanmar.

Some of the goods were Mizuno Puma related (a rubber chicken which had featured prominently went for 630yen, while the heart vase the guys are all holding in the pamphlet pics went for closer to 3000 IIRC the most expensive item that day was the wedding ring Kuri's character wears--9000yen). Kuma donated a tumbler he'd used in BuriMyu rehearsals (cue fangirling from everyone because that meant INDIRECT KISS WITH KUMA), Kuri donated his rubix cube, signed and everything, Bana donated an old alarm clock his grandfather had given him when he first moved to Tokyo, Yasu donated a shirt he wore to rehearsals almost every day XD;;;; Sueyoshi donated this reggae cap he wears all the time, and Iwashita donated his "mascot" stuffed character.

Also, since Iwashita's in rehearsals for D-boys stuff right now, he'd mentioned the auction to the guys there, and none other than YANAGI KOUTAROU himself donated this black cap he's apparently been wearing for years. Who got it? OUR OWN [livejournal.com profile] later_uk. How much did she pay for it? 2000YEN. IS THAT NOT A STEAL OR WHAT? Apparently KG fans aren't really D-boys fans :DDDDD

And then Gaku...donated the hand-made t-shirt his character had worn in Mizuno Puma (complete with Puma logo and everything, hand-made).

Who bought it?

...

..........

...what? I LIKED THE SHOW. IT WAS A REALLY GOOD SHOW, THAT'S WHY I WENT 6 TIMES. GIMME A BREAK. I'M NOT CREEPY. Despite the fact that I now have in possession two shirts and one jacket designed by a man I don't really like, and something he's sweated in. Eew.

Well, it'll look nice hanging up on my wall. I DID want some piece of Mizuno Puma memorobilia, and this is 2 birds with one stone :D I can already picture the convo now...

Gaku: "So, how much did my stuff sell for???"
Kuma: "I don't remember, but...some really weird foreign chick bought it o_O"
Gaku: "........................shelovesme♥"

DEAD FROM TOO MUCH FUN TODAY. GOING TO BED. MORE UPDATES LATER.

I was trying to figure out what seemed so familiar about this pic posted from post-performance yesterday:

Then I realized it's the Eiji/Daiki version of this:

Both pics of two people who seem closer than close, who don't appear to have realized they were being photographed together at the time.

Life? Pretty damn good.

Heading back up to Tokyo today for an AWESOME weekend--meeting [livejournal.com profile] katsu and [livejournal.com profile] lavenderlilly on Saturday, going to Samurai Mode twice, getting loaded down with goods there, Sunday morning is the KittyGuys street live at 8AM and making good with they hubby + finally getting the other 6 members' signatures on the shirt I got Iwashita-san to sign ages ago XD;;;

That afternoon I'm going to the KG birthday event where I will buy whatever the heck the "KittyGuys Mirror" is, and likely bid unmentionable amounts when they auction off their personal items to raise money for disaster relief in China and Myanmar. WRRRRYYYYYYY do I feel the need to elevate my Crazy Levels to new heights??

Also--have made arrangements with a couple of apartment places to look at apartments in Shiinamachi (near Ikebukuro) and Higashi Shinjuku at the end of the month. We'll see how that goes!

I kinda wanna make a countdown timer...

DAYS LEFT UNTIL...
--Samurai Mode: 1
--KG Birthday Event + Time With Hubby: 2
--Samurai Mode in Osaka: 7
--Last PaniSuta ever: 15
--Tuti's and Nagayan's 5th anniversary event: 17

GO! GO MY LOVELIES! AND IF ANY OF YOU PUT GAKU I WILL CUT YOU SO HARD 8DDDDDD
fencer_x: (Gakuhate)
DO NOT WAAAAAAANT DDDDDDD:

...................but will inevitably end up buying it anyways >_>

My only consolation: At least it's a TRIPLE collab, with Gain in there, too. I mean really, what is this world coming to when barely a month after the 3rd child has come into this world NAGAYAN'S OFF COLLABORATING WITH GAKU'S SUCKY BRAND?

WTF kind of brand name is KUK anyways? A STUPID ONE THAT'S IT.

sooooooo Tokyo girls who have Saturdays off :DDDDDD we should talk :D :D :D

ETA: GODDAMMIT I DIDN'T READ THE WHOLE ENTRY.

SO. Apparently they've named their little random-street-live-having-unit "Anten." WHY. Something to do with "ari" (Japanese for "ant"--and you can see little ants on the t-shirt. I say it's because there are people in it I WANT TO STEP ON >_>)

Also: 発売当日も、デザイナーが来るとか来ないとか! <--"The designers may or may not come on the day it goes on sale!"

GODDAMMIT ARGH. I DON'T WANT TO GO.
fencer_x: (Just the two of us)
Sometimes I frighten myself with my level of obsession--for example, peering at Gaku's latest picture, I thought, "Damn that guy in the back looks like a creepy version of Daiki."

And it was.

Also creepy: The fact that the original group was Daiki, Tecchan, Sueyoshi, and Gaku (Kura joined in after a while)--and Daiki, Tecchan, and Sueyoshi are all down for appearing in Samurai Mode whose rehearsals will be starting soon.

...Why the heck was Gaku there, too? IS GAKU GOING TO BE IN SAMURAI MODE ALSO? IS HE THE MYSTERIOUS "OTHER" ONCE MORE? ARGH. GRARHG.

In other news: I really really want some little angsty something with Tuti missing Nagayan who's off flouncing around Japan with Blanco right now. I don't particularly want it to be a happy ending, really, like getting a text or phone call at the end. I just want mopey, depressed Tuti with lots of introspection on why he loves Nagayan (or even better--why he's feeling this way just because Nagayan's gone WHEN THEY AREN'T BOYFRIENDS OR ANYTHING LDSUFHLSIUFHSIUDFHSIUFHLS <--*sucker for this kinda angst*)

[/demands]
fencer_x: (Eew.)
So.

I went to the evening Mizuno Puma show after earlier's afternoon show, and was relieved that I understood a LOT more this time around. Part of the problem had been that a ton of information crucial to the plot had been revealed in the last 20 minutes or so of the show, and it had been given in 1) Japanese, and 2) a short amount of time.

But for the evening performance, I knew the basics already, and knew where to listen more carefully, so I feel I've gotten about 90% of the show understood. After the show was over, I waited around outside of the theater with a bajillion other girls (all smoking >_>) for the guys to come out.

After about 45 minutes, they all came out together as a group, bowing and thanking everyone, general demachi greetings, nothing particularly special. I was doing my part with my gaijin perimeter in that there were no people around me for a span of 3 feet, but alas, no special glances or spazzing XD

Theater Green, where the show was held, is a teeny tiny theater only a few minutes away from Ikebukuro station, so of course that's where all the guys were headed. I had to head there as well to get back to my place for the evening, but it's generally considered bad manners to follow too soon after actors leave demachi, because it looks like you're following them and stalking them and...well, yeah XD

I waited a minute or so out of respect for this, and then said, "Ah screw it," and stomped off towards the station, quite tired and ready to sit down. I called up [livejournal.com profile] starrbeam on my keitai to see how the Switch event went, and also so that I'd give off an air of disinterest by being engrossed in a phone conversation so that no one thought I was really stalking the guys (CAUSE HONEST, I WASN'T).

A little ways from the theater towards the station, I passed, of course, GAKU. He was conversing with a few other fans who'd been waiting for demachi a little ways away from the theater, and I passed on the other side of the street, still in conversation, not even looking at the guy, who was turned away anyways.

I continued chatting, and was about to turn a corner, when I heard someone far behind me call what SOUNDED like my name. Given the fact that it 1) only SOUNDED like part of my name, and 2) if I turned around I might be noticed by Gaku who was still back there somewhere and wouldn't THAT be awkward, I just kept walking, ignoring them, and figured if they really were looking for me, they'd catch up with me later (maybe someone I'd met before had seen me at demachi or something).

I kept walking, still talking on the phone, ignoring whoever was behind me, until I heard what sounded like someone RUNNING up to me, and then I clearly heard, "Ko~to~ni~"

_o_

So I turn around.

And yeah, it's Gaku. Running up to me. Calling my name. Embarrassing the crap out of me. And being really, really endearing and cute and making it hard for me to remember I really can't stand the guy. Our conversation was short, mostly consisting of mutual, "OTSUKARESAMA DESU!"s (me to him, and him to me because it must've been hard on my sitting in that front row watching a bunch of hot guys dance around in suits, AM I RITE???) and discussion of my future play-going ventures, specifically tomorrow and senshuuraku ♥

When we finally parted ways, I realized I'd never actually stopped my phone conversation, and had just left [livejournal.com profile] starrbeam hanging, oops XD;;;;

So, time to pick out the wedding china, y/y?

ETA: Also, I bought a Kitty Guys cellphone screen cleaner as part of their goods they had on sale. It came in a small package with a playing card backing it so it wasn't just a keychain in a baggie.

First, the cleaner!

And...the card. NOT SAFE FOR WORK, YEAH. )

I don't know where to start to explain how awesome today was. But I'm going to try and keep this somewhat coherent, so forgive the frequent bouts of slidufhsldiufhsldiufhs when I devolve into fits of ecstasy 8D

I'm going to be posting a big summary of the show after senshuuraku tomorrow and posting it to [livejournal.com profile] pnish, so for now I'm not really going to bother with explaining the plot unless it calls for it. For now, THE HIGHLIGHTS! )
