I just looked at a map really well for the first time in a while, and realized I'd been operating under the impression that Korea was north of Japan (up past Hokkaido) and China/Hong Kong/Taiwan and all that was directly to the east :D I fail at geography!!

In other news, I have been listening to the Japanese version of the Wicked soundtrack on nonstop repeat for something like 2 days now. Tomorrow is a national holiday, but I have to work YAY. I will be cutting out a little early for lunch in order to harrass Tenchou when Gaku's hat goes on sale at noon <3333

Going to see Aniki's and Abe's new play "Applause" this weekend with Liz hopefully, definitely excited!

Guuuuhhh WICKED~~~ I remember a year or two ago seeing a preview for it on youtube but it was half in english/japanese and the voices were horrible. Please tell me they've gotten better?

Well the entire cast is Japanese now, and they're all AMAZING singers. My only complaint is the lyrics really, which can't be helped -- in the original there are all these lovely plays on words and puns and such, which are all pretty much lost in translation >_< I'll upload some this evening!

Yeeeyy! I'd love to hear it. I'm also happy to hear they're good singers, it's my favorite broadway musical and I'd be pretty sad if they didn't do it justice.

I can understand how it gets lost... they did a really good job with it in english but of course it'd be harder to do in japanese.
