Wow, and yet again I HATE BEING A GAIJIN AND THUS OUT OF THE LOOP.
If you haven't seen the latest entry on
oh_tuti, Tuti deleted his previous blog entry. Check here for further details on why.
Reading these comments, though, just really ticks me off, and I'm sure it's just cause I wasn't offended, being a foreigner, the way the commenters were since they're Japanese. If I'd been Japanese and knew all about this accident, I'd likely have jumped on Tuti, too, but still. Ugh, it feels like some of those girls just sit back and wait for a reason to snap at him for stepping too far outta line. It's his own journal, for crying out loud, he should be allowed to post what he wants--and he wasn't even thinking about that accident anyways, give him a break.
A few comments that really pissed me off:
トテさん素直に気持ちを書きすぎちゃう所ありますよね [There are times when you speak your mind a bit too freely.] <--WTF. NO SUCH THING. He never gets to express himself in real life like this, not to a rapt, waiting audience this way. If he can't speak his mind freely here, where's he to do it? At least it's not on the *pnish* blog!
相手の立場になって物事を考えられる人になって下さい [Please put yourself in the other person's position and become the sort of person who thinks things through.] <--asdfkjsdkfjsnfeksjnf there are just no words for my anger here.
*headdesk* I need to stop reading these...I can already feel another rant coming on ~_~ It's just, every time I see something like this happen with him, it makes me more and more worried he'll start closing up. As much as I love hearing about him going to see so-and-so's new play, I care more about the little things he thinks to post about, just the random thoughts he has. If he's going to be jumped on for offending someone every time like this, HE'S NOT GOING TO DO IT ANYMORE.
*moans* Tuti >_< WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO ME?
ETA: I broke down and left a comment, though I feel kinda like I went deep and made a big deal out of it when it wasn't, but mrrr...this has really bugged me for some reason ~_~

Good day, Tsuchiya-san.
I think that you should write whatever you feel honestly, and frankly, no matter what happens.
As I'm a foreigner, I don't quite understand exactly what happened, but even so I kind of feel like I understand how everyone is feeling.
But still, I don't think you were wrong. After all, you apologized and all, right?
I believe that to live as a human is to risk having your feelings hurt. But I also believe that we all have a duty to not be afraid of that and relate what we think in our own ways.
This blog is your blog. With that 'however you want'** feel to it. Everyone peeping in on this blog wants to know more and more about you, Tsuchiya-san, so please continue to write freely from now on. We'll get over whatever happens and continue cheering you on!]
** - "勝手なかんじ" is from the subtitle of Tuti's blog; I was further illustrating that it's HIS place to write how HE feels.

Date: 2006-04-25 05:42 pm (UTC)Tuti-san, I think it's okay for you to speak freely. You didn't mean to offend people, so it's okay. I like to read your honest thoughts. I feel closer to you when I read your words. Please continue to speak freely!

Date: 2006-04-25 06:25 pm (UTC)I would if I spoke Japanese fluent enough. Or had some kanji processor to write with. Mou.
I really think fans shouldn't start censoring him, because if they do, he will to. :((

Date: 2006-04-25 11:01 pm (UTC)And who knows, maybe he'll even remember/recognize your name and write a whole entry devoted to how much cooler American fans are and how he wants to come over here :D And bring *pnish* and Nagayan with him!<--did not say that v(~o^)/no subject
Date: 2006-04-25 05:57 pm (UTC)Nobody died in this accident apparently, there's nothing to be upset about! It seems they have only three accidents a year. The hell, Japan is the super accidents country ! >__<
Plus, I think I would have make the same joke but anyway..
Dammit, I love this man so much, it hurts ME to see that.
Will you leave a comment explaining your thoughts, well OUR thoughts even ? Cause you should. Poor Tuti, he can't even speak freely on his OWN blog...

Date: 2006-04-25 11:15 pm (UTC)I also saw other japanese comments saying that it was alright. I love those ones.
The others can go fuck themselves.no subject
Date: 2006-04-25 06:36 pm (UTC)It seriously annoys me, that these 'fans' can make him feel so bad about something that he deletes an entry in his own blog. If it were the *pnish* blog, I would understand, I guess, but it's not, and... >.< auuuuugh.

Date: 2006-04-25 07:06 pm (UTC)I can't even believe what they are telling him! If it's bothering them so much, they can always just stop reading his damn blog. >:O
And I agree, please please please leave a comment telling him that there are lots of people who WANT him to speak his mind, we just don't know how to write it out in Japanese. :\

Date: 2006-04-26 01:21 am (UTC)I don't want poor Tuti to think he has to shut up, t-the thought of Tuti being even remotely sad and regretful about what he put is so depressing... these comments make it seem like he murdered someone for god's sake! It's his blog and he should be able to be himself! My god, worst case scenario, he won't just start doubting the way he writes, but his personality too! GAHHHH
FUCKING RETARDED COMMENTS. I don't care if this is Japan and friggin' speaking your mind is some kind of taboo, that some stupid girls overseas think you should censor yourself in YOUR OWN BLOG and think about every possible person that might read that entry before you post.
