Hello DW my old friend

So, as is the done thing these hours now that tumblr has shot itself in the foot, we come back to DW to see if we can do it right this time.

Honestly, I've missed the setup that LJ/DW had, and while tumblr was much easier on the eyes, I would be happy to come back to DW/LJ if fandom friends came with me. Here's hoping!

For now, I've scrubbed up the ol' theme, and while it's simple, it does the trick. Perhaps when I have the time, and if I'm going to be spending a lot of hours here, I'll whip up something more customized.

Oh how I have missed you, customizable icons!!

Time to go see if I can find active comms for my fandoms! Hopefully this place picks up. If anyone has any suggestions for where I should look, I'm all ears :D

There is a list of many fannish comms here. You might also want to visit addme_fandom to make new friends :)

Bless you! DW seems as difficult to navigate as far as finding comms as I recall it and LJ being, and even doing a search for fandoms generally only turns up outdated comms that haven't had new posts in months at best. Hopefully that'll change if there's a mass exodus (or whatever you'd call a coming-home) of users back this way.

Unfortunately, very few comms are as active as they ever were on LJ. It's annoying, but if we get enough critical mass that might change.

(Though if you like Star Trek Discovery we've got a comm that was super active last season!)
