Well fuck :P

First Nagayan tortured me with it, and now Tuti's doing it: OVERNIGHT BIRTHDAY EVENT AT AN ONSEN.

Birthday events I can do. Overnight events I can do. But I don't like onsens because, uh, public bathing and Japanese food are not things I dig (yes, I know, I LIVE IN JAPAN.), and they are things that are in abundance at an onsen :P

While of course I'd love to BE THERE, I don't want to go alone XD; and I kind of don't want to be the only foreigner there either, which I definitely will be if previous trips are any indication XD; SOMEONE COME WIIIIITH D: It's a weekend! ...That's all I know right now XD;

What kind of Japanese food do they have at an onsen that you don't like?
6 February? I'm sorry but it's impossible for me. If I can go to Japan in the end, it will be in March... too late.

If JET accepts me we're absolutely doing something on a weekend, so it can be two awkward foreigners at an event full of things we don't necessarily care for. I'm trying in vain to learn as much Japanese as I can because as soon as I get there I want to hit up so many theatres and just enjoy the shows....and know at least a little of what is going on.

I always enjoy reading your journals and truth be told I'm having the most Hysterical Japanese adventure dreams because of it.
