fencer_xSo, at the Nagayan event, Nagayan confessed that Okuru Uta, one of his very first songs, was not a very well-written song, and seeing the lyrics now, it kind of embarrassed him. So he wanted us to help him (HELP him. Do NOT think for a moment that he didn't have a buttload of fun with this, cause oh he did XD) rewrite the lyrics into a more "adult" song.
So we did.

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, I THINK THE TXN FANDOM HAS A NEW OFFICIAL SONG ENDORSED BY NAGAYAN HIMSELF.
I'll have a nice long report up tomorrow, I think. For now: HOLY SHIT WAS THERE A LOT OF TXN IN THIS EVENT. I mean, there's usually the occasional snide remark and all at his events, because the fans love bringing Tuti up and Nagayan loves making witty remarks at the expense of a man not there to defend himself XD But sheeeeeeet. Random things I loved:
--how much it meant to Nagayan during Aru Hi when Tuti complimented him on learning his lines so quickly and had faith that he'd get them down (since Tuti's very proud of his own ability to memorize lines quickly, to compliment Nagayan on something he was good at was an even bigger compliment :D)
--*POINTS UP AT THE SONG* THAT. It became about Tuti when he foolishly asked the audience for a suggestion on what to change, "densha matsu kimi ni" to XD I'm almost positive it was someone in the audience who suggested it, but I actually never heard anyone say it, so Nagayan COULD have just picked the name that would get the most laughs (wisely XD) It...kind of backfired though when he got to phrases like, "kimi wo motto motto shiritakute, nukumori wo shiritakute" ("I want to know you much more, to know your warmth") and he groaned loudly that, "Wow this is REALLY kimochi warui XD;;;;;" and changed the motto motto as you saw above, but when it got to the nukumori wo shiritakute he thought for a minute, then waved it off and said, "Whatever, FINE" and just moved on XDDDDD Tamacchi? You had so better find a way to hook up the boy in question with his BF's love song XD
--YUZAWA WANTS NAGAYAN TO BE IN THE NEXT MAGDALA NA MARIA. AS AN ACTUAL PERFORMER (so full-on WOMEN'S CLOTHES)................mostly because Nagayan said he wanted to be in it after seeing the most recent one 8DDDDD MAGDALA NA MARIA 4, WITH NAGAYAN, Y/Y?????
--Songs that Nagayan sang (acapella) at the event were: Saigo no Onegai (Dust), Fuyu Hanabi (BuriMyu; forgot half the lyrics), Hajimari ni Hi (BuriMyu; forgot half the lyrics), Kimi ga Mienai (BuriMyu, did well!), Juuden Kanryou (TeniMyu.....forgot a few lyrics XD And made us all yell out "EIJI!" before it :D), and last but not least.....Depend on Me XD (TeniMyu; and of course he sang it ala Tuti, REALLY working it over XD;;; the best part though: it was the ONLY SONG he remembered every single line for and afterwards he kind of looked confused and amused at the same time, going, "...And strangely enough, I think I sang that one best!")
--His favorite part in ShibaTora2 is the scene where it looks like Tuti's about to dive out the window XDDDD He took great pleasure in reenacting it every time. This scene:
Now imagine Nagayan flinging himself across the stage like that :P And that's what happened.
--VIDEO INTERVIEWS. YES. FUCKYES. Next best thing to actually having Tuti there was having him there (THERE = IN A PRIVATE KARAOKE ROOM AT A BIG ECHO. JSYK *____*) spending five minutes babbling abouthow much he loves Nagayanhis beloved guitalele and how everyone hated it backstage but especially Usui-san and Naoya XD And having Nagayan giggling like mad behind the camera. And editing the video so that every time Tuti started a new thought it was when he took a drag on his cigarette AND SDLIUFSDFS FUCK THAT MAN'S FINGERS. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU NAGAYAN FOR SHARING.
--Also, "Please sum up Nagayama Takashi into one word" is not a request you spring on your boyfriend suddenly, Nagayan. Gaku and Kope? Handled it okay: 楽(raku; "fun, calm") and 力 (chikara; "power"). Tuti? Took, like, seriously, 15-20 seconds looking really intense before eventually coming up with some kanji I'd never heard of before: 剛 (gou), which apparently means strong, sturdy, dependable, and MANLY. On looking it up, I also realized that it can be read as..................Takashi. FUCKING HELL, HOW DOES HE PACK SO MUCH MEANING INTO ONE SEEMINGLY INSIGNIFICANT QUESTION?! And even better: 剛毅 means "fortitude; firmness of character; hardihood; manliness". That second kanji in that compound? IS the kanji for "Takashi" that Nagayan uses. SHEEEEEET MAN. He then went on to clarify that he picked that word because Nagayan's really strong of character and reliable and always the same in every environment and sdliufhslidfs GOD THESE TWOOOOOO.
--omg Nagayan trying and failing repeatedly to snowboard? THE CUTEST THING EVER, BECAUSE HE GETS PISSY AND SNAPS AT TAMACCHI WHO JUST SITS THERE LAUGHING HIS ASS OFF AT HIM. ALSO HE GOT TANGLED IN NETS AND IT WAS FUNNY.
--Pretty sure it wasn't coincidence Nagayan made Tuti voice the kobudai in his little short film. (other entrants: Gaku as an Orca, Kope as an Eagle, Tamacchi as a turtle........yup, I think Tuti's the only one that got specially cast XD;)

I think what I like about this clarification by Tuti is, isn't this like the third time he's answered a question or made the same kind of comment about Takashi? It's like these answers aren't being answer given in the moment, but because these thoughts... how he feels about Takashi... never change. You know they aren't simply words being given to answer an interview or pamphlet question, especially here, replying to the man himself, with the initial (crazy intellectual) answer that is simple (yet obviously not so simple) of "gou.". *guh* This event is exactly what I needed to read about today.
Any horrible typos above I blame on my iTouch. Thanks for sharing the pre-tidbits from the event's full report. It is so lovely to know, that even in the down time, they are never too far from each other's thoughts.

And god, Tuti's description. ;__; I feel like it's striking just because...it's not something you'd say unless you knew someone really, really well. I just feel like this is sort of a real glimpse into how far they've come... *wibble*

Date: 2010-08-29 01:21 am (UTC)Like I said, I honestly am not 100% sure who suggested Tuti--logically one of the girls would have done it, but the way he mentioned it it sounded like HE just tossed it out, and I never actually heard any of the girls suggest it soooo XD
But it made for great lulz, so I wouldn't be surprised if he just tossed out the first name he knew would get laughs (probably weighing "Tuti" vs. "Gaku" XD).
As for being embarrassed, he did seem a little "eeeeeh XD;;;;" at the first implicative line about the "kimi wo motto motto shiritakute nukumori wo shiritakute" and called it "kimochi warui" (gross XD But then, ALL guys say that about anything gay here) and tried to change it as you saw (not very effective) and then just gave up entirely on changing the second part. He looked at it and thought about it for a minute, and then just waved over it and went, "Maa ii ya~" and just decided to move on XD I think he was kind of embarrassed about that, but didn't want to call attention to it? It was really cute XD
I'll post the fan-stalking ones later, but it involved him changing lyrics to things like, "I want to know you even more, want to know your address" and "I put my hand in your pocket and take out your wallet" and ends with the audience shouting "GET HIM!" (like directing the police XD)
