Secrets and 6th cast!

I SPOKE ENGLISH TO UENOBORI MAKOTO.
....OKAY SO ALL I SAID WAS, "Great job!" AND THEN RETREATED BACK INTO JAPANESE BUT HAAAAAY HE SAID, "Thank you!" SO IT'S ALL GOOOOD 8D
*ahem* I'm sorry :P I just worked up the nerve to attempt to interact in a language I KNOW he must know SOME of, seeing his blog posts, and I'm always worried I'm going to embarrass them or it'll be awkward and sdlifushldfs it was just a lot of fun :D Reminds me of the absolute RUSH it was speaking with Hosogai *___* Next time, I'm definitely going to challenge him some more!
Backtracking a bit... So yes! Today was the saien of Secret Garden, which Tsuji and Mako-chan (and Shouta and Hirayama) performed back in...March? I think? Yes. Pretty sure.
Since they're releasing a DVD this time, there were cameras in there, and pretty much everything got filmed--the show itself as well as the after-talk, which was hiiiiiilarious and god but those boys are adorable :P There were three different endings--one for each show today--and luckily the one I saw today was different from the one I saw last time, more of a generic happy ending (Mako-chan's character is possessed by the ghost of his dead mother, but she leaves him at the end in peace) which...I guess was nice? XD I kind of liked the last one better (Mako-chan's character dies with his mother's spirit trapped inside of him, IIRC), and from what I heard the OTHER one was even angstier (Tsuji's character kills Mako-chan's), so I kind of would've liked to have seen them all XD I wonder if they'll all be on the DVD? Guess I'll have to wait and see...!
Probably the most nerve-wracking part of the show, though, was the HANDSHAKE afterwards :P You people know that I do not handle interacting with these boys with the most grace :P Despite being perfectly coherent on a good day, I manage to revert to some sort of lizard-brain state when faced with hot actors and wind up making a fool of myself. Today, though, wasn't quite so bad! Maybe because there were less people (just Tsuji and Mako-chan, individually, rather than half of freaking 5th cast all at once), maybe because we got a little bit more time to chat (~20 seconds each, rather than the typical 3-5 XD) but...I felt a little calmer XD
We all lined up and had to do the handshake with them on stage, in front of EVERYONE, which is horrifying gdi XD; But at least I got it over with quickly; I was A-5 :D Mako-chan was the first one I had to speak with, and just to save us the awkward, "Umm I don't have to talk in English with this foreigner do I?!" moment, I just babbled in Japanese that I'd had a good time and really enjoyed the show, then blurted out like an idiot, "GREAT JOB!" and probably looked a little creepy-crazy, but Mako-chan is a smooth operator and he returned a quick, "Thank you!" and...then there really WAS an awkward pause for, seriously, like 2-3 seconds where we were like, "oooooookay now what 8D;;;" and then he asked in Japanese where I was from, and I replied America, and he replied, "ああ、アメリカ~いいですね!" and at that moment I just really wanted to sit him down and grill him about everything he's experienced BUT it was time to move on and then it was....TSUJI.
Tsuji. Tsujimoto Yuuki. I feel like such a stalker, but really, it's just because he was in the right place at the right time, and I wouldn't be nearly this gaga over him if he hadn't been the main character of my first live *pnish* show ever and sdfuhsdfs it's so sad he will never know that D: <--because I will NEVER TELL HIM. Well, probably not any time soon unless it somehow comes up :P I seriously sound like a stalker. But yes, I just love this dude to pieces gdi. OH AND LET ME TELL YOU THIS: one of his roles in the show was a detective/officer, and for each show he'd play the role a little different. This time? HE WAS A YANKEE OSAKA BADASS DUDE 8DDDDD Which means he just let that Kansai-ben rip XDDDDD BEST EVER. BEST. JUST. EVER.
*ahem* anyways, so yes. Tsuji was next XD I again made the first move to break the ice, saying I'd had a great time, it was fun, and he was all smiles and nods and normal, and then I added, "Even better than last time!" and then his face just changed into this beautiful excited little smile and I wanted to die for serious and he just started babbling in sduhfsd Kansai-ben, "OMG REALLY? BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT I WAS MOST WORRIED ABOUT SDIFSDFSSF" and idek if he was remotely worried about it at all, but the important thing was it made me feel like I'd said something that maybe mattered this time :P And it felt good gdi. And then he just sealed the deal with: "And really, thank you so much for coming all the time" <--FUCKING HELL DUDE I LOVE YOU ENOUGH ALREADY THERE IS NO NEED TO MAKE ME EVEN MORE SLAVISHLY OBSESSED WITH ATTENDING YOUR SHOWS AND BUYING YOUR SHIT. I realize it shouldn't mean that much that, uh duh, the Japanese dude can recognize a white chick who comes to, like, everything he does, multiple times, buying 23428493 copies of his photosets. But still ;~; It makes you feel good to be noticed, yanno?
Anyways, at that point I was like, "UMM OKAY LOL BYE PLEASE DO THIS AGAIN BYE SERIOUSLY BYYYYYYYYE~" and hightailed it outta there XD
And that was my interesting thing for the day :P Also also lololol Tsuji was way hot with his back-in-black hair 8D
In other news! So I finally watched the videos for 6th cast on the TeniMyu site and my overall impression was...good! In order of increasing ability to tell how good an actor will be as his character, I'd rank the following: blog image < still IC shot < intro video < actual performance/DVD -- so this was at least a step up from IC shots! Ryoma looks very nice, Tezuka's voice has me preemptively melting in my seat thinking how that's going to sound belting out some tunes, Oishi is interesting but I need to see more, and Kikumaru...well I think I may just be interested again :D
Like I said before, BabyMaru was kind of worrisome, especially since this is supposed to be a character who's close friends with his doubles partner--yet the guy playing said doubles partner is something like eight years older, and that is not very good for fostering a friendship or even a very mature working relationship :/ You don't have to besleeping together like Tuti and Nagayan joined at the hip like T2 just the closest people EVER to pull off a good GP, but it certainly helps to connect on some level, I think. That being said...heeeeehehehehe BABYMARU IS SO GENKI AND HAPPY AND ~*~SHINING GOLDEN PAIR~*~ ABOUT THE WHOLE THING that I can't help but get a little excited myself wondering what he'll bring to the partnership :DDDD Okay hon, you've got my attention!
Everyone else is pretty normal for now--though I was impressed with Momo's confidence XD I'm definitely looking forward to seeing some more from these guys!

Their conversations on Sherlock's site are also similarly adorable <3

I DON'T SEE HOW THEY COULDN'T MAKE MORE. IT WOULD BE SO ILLOGICAL NOT TO. BUT EVEN IF IT DOES GET PICKED UP FOR A FULL SEASON WE'LL HAVE TO WAIT FOREEEEEVER FOR THE NEW EPISODES :(
