...What the fuck? I can't find my cellphone anywhere...
How did I lose it between coming up from the station and coming home? o_O I've tried calling it, and I hear nothing--but it was almost dead when I closed it up. Fuck XD;;; Today has just not been a good day at all :P Aside from HappyPani of course--but even that was just a bright moment of fun in an otherwise exceptionally crappy day, and was marred by the fact that I tried to (stealthily) record the show's audio, but apparently my recorder is craaaaaap (this I knew) and you can only make up the few talk segments (and even then, barely), and everything else is blaring noise :/ Which sucks, because I was counting on THAT to help me remember stuff to write up a report.
As it is, you now only get the stuff I remember :/
The opening dance was the On7 OP this time, and the outfits...were hooooot 8DDDD I was #5 to get in, and planted myself SMACK in the center of the front row for it, so I got PREMIUM seats this time 8DDDDD (LOOKIT ME IN THE FRONT ON LEADER'S BLOG 8DDDDD) and so I got an up-close look at the outfits, which were these...suits? But really ragged and casual? Long black coats over dress-shirts and ties--and Tuti definitely looked like he does here! Tie, dress shirt, hair done that way even! He looked quite good actually. Eiji didn't look nearly as bad with that hair of his as I thought, but it's gotten darker since he first dyed it, thank goodness. Daiki had FRICKING CORNROWS, which...I dunno, on him, I don't think they looked so horrible :P He works that kind of weird style.
Other dances they did in the first part were:
--sexy black vest dance (FUCKYEAH)
--post-Host Club dance (with the roses and all 8D I thought for a wild moment that they were actually going to DO the Host Club scene--like, a new one--as part of their skits, but alas :P)
--On5 OP
There were probably other awesome dances that I've forgotten >_> Introductions followed afterwards, along with some fun regaling of things that had already gone wrong, like Tuti dropping his rose (from the Host Club dance) and not realizing it til he saw it on the ground, realized it was either his or Daiki's (Eiji and Wasshi had red roses, Tuti and Daiki had white ones; yes of COURSE they threw them out into the audience :D), and then had to figure out how to pick it up without anyone noticing XD I think he succeeded, personally, because while I thought his dancing was a little off at one point, I didn't realize it was that way because he was picking something up in the middle XD
They then segued into the character skit after a short preview of the upcoming Santies show~
The skit opened with..........................NATA-FUCKING-RAJA WOOOOOHOOOOO! I GOT MY TUTI WITH A PINK ELEPHANT PENIS ON HIS HEAD! Am I psychic or what? :P Nataraja informed us that today was the day of that once-a-year festivalDurga PujaHAPPYPANI~!!! There was going to be a character battle now, and the last character standing would appear in this coming October's honkouen--meaning they would get to do a sequel to their own show probably! WOOHOO! LET'S GET STARTED.
First on wandered...Jo. Yes, Jo XD As in, Little Women from On7 :P Jo was sweet and nice as usual, but next came running on DAIKI. As in, elementaryschool!mildlySPECIAL!Daiki :DDDD There was some fun with the recorder unko song as usual, but then it was time for an Eiji character....and how better to pimp his potential sequel than TACHIBANA WOOOOOFUCKINGHOOOO!
I'd mentioned to Beri how utterly awesome it would be for Tachibana and Nataraja to be on stage at the same time, especially if Tachibana mistook him for Garakusha: "Good day to you--GARAKUSHA-SAMA PLEASE PARDON MY VULGAR LANGUAGE BUT WHAT THE FUCK IS ON YOUR HEAD?!"
Unfortunately, this epic meeting did not happen, as Nataraja professed a need to change and darted off stage. At this point, Tachibana was alone IIRC, and he proceeded to drone on about how awesome Samurai Mode was and how it was a proper *pnish* performance and how he wanted to show everyone his continuing adventures with Garakusha-sama and Ryoumei-sama and didn't everyone soooo want to see Samurai Mode 2? Me: "*___________________* FUCK YES BRING IT ON I'MMA NEED ME SOME GARAKUSHA/TACHIBANA AND SHISUI/SAIGA ACTION THO JSYK."
For some reason, Okama!Tuti wandered on here to challenge Tachibana for rights to the next *pnish* performance (OH HOW I WISH THIS HAD HAPPENED), but was soundly dispatched. However, at this point on walked.........Haru. Yes, Haru--from Secret Box XD; He and Tachibana proceeded to have some sort of a battle, where Haru of course saw all of Tachibana's moves using his power, and when Tachibana saw this he sputtered, "You can use shukugan?!" (Shisui's [Wasshi XD] special move that slows down time so he can easily dodge blows). Haru then foresaw that Tachibana would grow bald (COMPLETELY) and fat, which was a mortal blow to the man's ego, so he left XD;
Next up though...was some familiar music. Some pounding drums and a well-known melody heralding the entrance of ZANKIMARU!
..........................waitaminute.
The fuck that is not Zankimaru. IT'S DAIKIMARU. Yes, it was Daiki dressed in full Zankimaru regalia, who then reminded Haru/Wasshi that he really loved the Zankimaru character and thought he was really cool and really wanted to play him--it could be Monster Box Episode 1! (as in, set before the events of Monster Box) Haru left for...some reason, I forget, but Daikimaru was not alone for long, because someone had a bone to pick with him...and on walked Eiji trying very very hard to fit into Daiki's Amanai Rin outfit and utterly failing. He and Daiki then proceeded to bitch each other out like husband andwifehusband, with Daiki prodding him that he still looked good even though the Rin outfit didn't fit too well, and offered him the cutest little, "Ganbare Eiji~~~~" when he stalked off XDDDD It was truly adorable, trust me :P
Confident that, since he was all that was left, he'd be allowed to be Zankimaru this October, Daiki was cut short by the arrival of a fellow Monster Box alumnus--AKATSUKI :DDDDD Tuti's super cool priest role. The others came back on as Wanizuka, Shusai (yes, MahaMo!Eiji, complete with taped-on moustache XD He really wanted the MahaMo theatre troupe to have their own show), and SAIGA-SAMAAAAA~ :D GUH. BEST. DAIKI CHARACTER. EVER.
They decided to duke it out amongst themselves to ultimately decide who would win--and since Wanizuka had already been in two shows, they ganged up on him and knocked him out. The remaining three then turned on each other and eventually there was no one left XD; Except...Wanizuka, who slowly came back to consciousness from being knocked out and realized he was the winner! yaaaaaay...? XD;
AND THERE YOU HAVE IT! Wanizuka will officially be in the next *pnish* show, which if you haven't seen it is called Western Mode (I recall some of us thinking of this as a potential title a long while back...) and will be situated in none other than the American Wild West XD; The main character will be called "Roni/Lonnie" IIRC and...that's about all I know. Also, Wanizuka will not be the main charcter it seems; so...perhaps this means Eiji will star in this one, since Tuti got SM and Daiki got MM?
While the preview for Western Mode rolled (oh god, what horrible name will Eiji give this one? Nothing can be worse than "lard" for MahaMo >_>), the guys changed into their next outfits: THESE ones, except add in wigs for all the guys in this style (blonde for Tuti and Daiki, light brown for Wasshi, dark brown for Eiji) and glasses rimmed in their respective colors :D It was...really weird XD But very fun, also. Some of the dances I remember them doing in these outfits were: schoolboy dance (On7), re-enacting the storytelling scene from Little Women (On7), MahaMo gekidan dance (when Shusai is trying to teach Shiva, Pasupata, and Parvati how to be actors)
After this dance segment, they had another talk corner where they talked about previous memories of HappyPani, and in the middle of this--all the lights went out, and familiar strains of Happy Birthday came up :D And onto the stage walked--BESSHI AND TECCHAN AWWWWW :DDDDD With a cake of course. Now, the guys had done their own birthday singing earlier in the evening, but this was the surprise one for them. They blew out the candles and talked about their wishes and goals for the upcoming year.
Wasshi: lose one pants size
Eiji: I think his was similar? Something to do with losing weight XD;
Tuti: BECOME A D-BOY XDDDDDDDYou are waaaaaaaay too late for that hon
Daiki: Take *pnish* to 4 cities for a show (they've done a max of three so far, for MahaMo [Kobe, Tokyo, Nagoya])
The show ended with a rousing chorus of Makenaide, the dance I always forget the name of that they did at the end of this year's Room event, and of course--as always--Lupin III :DDDDD AND THAT WAS HAPPYPANI!
I couldn't see ANY of the guests, so I'm not sure who came (I believe Tecchan mentioned Katou Ryousuke and Kako Rion sitting by him, though, so at least them?); looking at Gaku's and Nagayan's blogs, though, it doesn't seem like they went this year? I was kind of not expecting them to be able to, with Shinsengumi rehearsals, but it's sad still :( At least they wished *pnish* Happy Birthday!
CONGRATS, GUYS!! SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!
Oh okay fuck all that crap that happened on Thursday, FRIDAY IS STARTING OFF FUCKING AWESOME. When I saw Tsuji post about going to meet his "shinyuu", I kind of had an inkling, but gaaaah THESE HOMOS I LOVE THEM.
Subject: My beloved partner
[...] And today, my partner Tsuji-kun celebrated my being released from the hospital!
He even thought about my body and came over to visit (T^T) Tsuji-kun's so nice! [T/N: okay it's NOT as naughty as it sounds...Shouta's just...thanking Tsuji for being thoughtful and considering that Shouta was recovering by coming to meet him rather than asking Shouta out somewhere :33333]
He even treated me to shabu-shabu! It was really delicious! Thank you Tsuji-kun!! You're a friend I made through TeniMyu who I'll have for the rest of my life!
But man, it really was tasty! And even though it was just the two of us, we talked a little about the upcoming event too! (haha)
OH DO GO ON, SHOUTA. TSUJI. TSUJI I NEED AN UPDATE LIKE YESTERDAY.
Also mrrr, I really liked Shouta's hair before...I mean, it's good now, too, short and all, but but but I kind of miss the old version. OH WELL HE AND TSUJI CAN SHARE THEIR MY NEW HAIR STORIES NOW :DDDDDD (also lulz with that hair and that leopard-print shirt he kinda looks like Kintarou XD)
