Oh god.
Oh goooood XD;;;;;
Now, I've embarrassed myself several times during my time in Japan. Typically, I'll overestimate my skills, or forget my place, or just blab something I really shouldn't--that's how I usually embarrass myself, and I know right away that I've just stepped in it.
I think this is the first time I only realized I embarrassed myself in front of actors 9 months later.
So, some of you may recall what happened last September 28 when I became the luckiest fucking girl on the planet and became locked in an elevator for all of 30 seconds with not one, not two, but THREE 5th cast members--namely Toshi, Shouta, and Akki. Fucking awesome, even remembering it *____*
However, one thing had always bugged me:
This gave me a chance to glance at his face again, as it was really bugging me who I thought he looked like. He caught me looking at him once, and was smiling this weird kinda grin, like he knew I was trying to place him and was taking great joy at my not catching on quick enough.
It bugged me, because I couldn't figure out why the hell Toshi would've been giving me that look. I was a random foreign chick in an elevator. I wasn't wearing any fandom-related merchandise, I was just sitting there listening to my tunes and chilling, and he's looking at me like he knows I know him. WHY?
Wait.
Listening to my tunes?
Oh god. It was a quiet elevator, and while I never have my music BLARING, when it's that quiet you ALWAYS hear the tiniest sound. So if I'd been, god forbid, LISTENING TO TENIMYU, they sure as hell would've noticed, and they sure as hell would've found that hilarious (well, Toshi would've), and it SURE AS HELL would've explained That Look.
But, well, how the hell am I supposed to remember wtf I was listening to on a random day in September last year? This is what I eventually concluded, and decided to just put it out of my mind as a mysterious mystery that I would never be able to solve.
Until I started messing with my mp3 player today and found the most CURIOUS little feature I had never noticed before: 再生履歴. "Play History".
Huh?
Oh look...it's a searchable archive of every song I've played every day I've had this thing since I first bought it.
Oh look, September 2009...the 28th.
Huh...Let Love In, I Feel Fine, some pnish songs, nothing big...
Oh.
WELL SHIT.
FGKS
Right there at the end of my playlist. After which, as I noted in the entry above, I turned off my headphones and put them away.
NOW I THINK I KNOW WHY TOSHI GAVE ME THAT LOOK THAT SAID, "OH HAAAAI HAHAHA I BET YOU'RE A TENIMYU FAN 8DDDDD"
:(((((((( *EMBARRASSED*

Date: 2010-06-22 12:47 pm (UTC)The only thing that could top this is being trapped in an elevator listening to, like, "Kotoba" or something and realizing the guy smiling at you across the way is Nagayan :P

Date: 2010-06-22 05:59 pm (UTC)In any case, it's one hell of an adventure. I wish I could be in an elevator for a few seconds with Miki Shinichirou or Saitou Takumi! xD
Oh well. ^_^

Date: 2010-06-22 11:57 pm (UTC)So really, keep up the good work!!!!!!! They will never know when they can let they're guard down. Add to that crazy, foreign fans that speqk Japanese... they won't know what to do... aside from grinning widely, and then attemlti g to say anything they can in your language and possible only managing "Thank You."
But seriously, if anything, it will make you even more memorable to the boys. That can't be all that bad now, can it?
