Busy day is busy!

(aka where 1st and 5th casts went the other night when Tuti accidentally posted his text to Nagayan on his blog XDDDD)

Now, rest assured, this was not new levels of stalkerism -- we had good reason to be there, as it was where we changed to the Yuurakuchou line on our way back from SUPER COMIC CITY YAAAAAAY! But it still made me giddily happy enough to snap a shot for posterity :P

Our haul at the doujinshi event was quite good -- I actually didn't come back with a single GP doujinshi (wtf self?), but got two new Mitsuru+Asami Tuti/Nagayan works, a few new Shiraishi/Kintarou, some adorable Dirty Pair (that sounds like an oxymoron XD), and my favorite: two new TxN doujinshi from someone I'd never seen stuff from before, PLUS her newest piece: Nataraja/Pasupata PORN 8DDDDDDD I think I'mma have to scanlate this bitch XD The quality isn't so good but whooooo the hell cares?! Though, her TxN stuff is kind of...special XD; She's largely a GP artist (we found her by chance in the GP section, nowhere near Mitsuru in the RPS Myu section) and I wouldn't have noticed she even had TxN stuff if Meg hadn't spotted the NataPasu book laid out. I picked up one by her set back around Aru Hi, and another set during...BuriMyu, I think? Which I found out after purchasing was a THREESOME with KENGO, and was a mantrain >_> Tuti/Nagayan/Kengo IN THAT ORDER, ALL AT ONCE.

Now, TNT I can handle, but...seriously, wtf XD;;;;

(and there was Baba/Taito stuff and a LOT of Ryuuki/Taito [which I can understand way more than Baba/Taito :D]...but I didn't really see any other 5th cast stuff :/ One of the GP chicks looked like she might have some 5th cast-focused stuff, but I didn't see any >_< gah.)

GUH. Those cell phone straps are awesome~! :D And new doujinshi~~ *bounces* That's quite exciting. ^_~

(Also, this is a stupid question, I'm sure, but I'm just going to ask. :P Why do they call those things 'cleaners'? Like...are they actually meant to clean something? I've always wondered about that, since they seem to function just like regular straps to me. O_o)

(they're called cleaners because the back is a really soft material that you use...to clean your cellphone screen :D Or that's the intention at least ;) I can't bring myself to actually use it for that XD;;;)

Those cell phone straps are ADORABLE (and pink and yellow >>;), and I am highly envious of you. Just the idea of a doujinshi shop with an RPS section kind of blows my mind. XD;;

The Kengo thing... I'm very amused at that. XD;;; Though that sort of thing has definitely happened to me when buying doujinshi...

fyi it wasn't a shop, it was an event -- Super Comic City, where ~100,000 rabid doujinshi lovers pile into the huge event space at Tokyo Big Site and wander the aisles stocking up on doujinshi from sellers for pretty much any and every fandom imaginable :D The TeniMyu sellers aren't as well represented now as they once were, but I'm sure you can imagine XD;

And SCC is nothing compared to Comiket in August and December-- which attracted nearly 600,000 people last year and almost 40,000 circles (that's 40,000 groups of people selling their doujinshi...to 600,000 buyers). It's a religious experience 8D

It's also a really fun chance to see these girls in the flesh who draw the doujinshi, make friends, let them know their stuff has an appreciative foreign audience, etc :D I highly recommend it if you ever get the chance! ;)

:OO That sounds even more exciting, albeit less accessible if it only happens every once in a while. I can't even imagine... @____@ What time in August and December is Comiket? I'm going to be super sad if I miss both!

Summer Comiket is August 13-15 this year, and Winter's over the new year's holidays. But there are a ton of decent-sized events between then as well, depending on where you are ^___^

Daaaamn, as far as doujinshi hauls go, that sounds amazing! :DDDD I think I agree that Taito/Ryuuki seems to have more of a basis than Baba/Taito, Here's hoping more 5th cast doujin gets produced eventually, too, though it's cool knowing that some is getting drawn! :D And by "5th cast," I mean "T2," just FYI. XP
