D-room finale~
25 January 2010 10:58 amI actually just realized I never explained the second of the two skits XD Daiki typically does two different skits on different days for D-room, and while I understood the first one better...I really like the second one XD
Instead of focusing on Treasure Box, like before...this one is a revamp (recontinuation...?) of Reverse Historica. YUP! It starts off with Matsuura (Daiki's character) on location with an unseen Nakashima (Eiji's character XD Represented by pre-recorded lines spoken by Eiji :DDDDD) prepping for their next filming assignment. He's grousing to himself about all the effort he puts into the script that Nakashima inevitably subsequently ruins with editing, and glances over to find Nakashima conversing with a present-for-some-unknown-reason Yuino-san, the exorcist guy who was responsible for so much grief before when he called the spirits of dead historical figures into the present.
Oh. Crap.
Yup, Yuino-san is up to his old tricks again, and before Matsuura can stop him--BAM! He drops to the floor...then slowly gets up again, hurt and confused.
"I'm...back in the land of the living...? All right! This is the grand return of SAIGA OF THE FORESIGHT!"
XDDDDDDD YES. YES YES YES. SAIGA-SAMAAAAAAA~~~~~ <--pretty much what a lot of the girls were yelling anyways 8DDDD Saiga is a DAMN popular character, even though Daiki's characters usually aren't.
He freaks out for a moment because of Matsuura's short hair and glasses (if you aren't familiar with Saiga, he is a pretty pretty man :D), but spots a conveniently placed long, blue jacket and wig of long brown hair so...he changes, of course XD
Meanwhile, Tecchan comes out on stage (as Kawakami) and bitches at Tsuda on his cellphone for bugging him and being maji uzee ("so fricking annoying" -- Kawakami's common complaint) before wandering back off stage.
The rest of the skit was pretty much...kinda boring XD;;; Saiga finds the script Matsuura was working on and changes it up, adding in famous funny Japanese historical figures. As I don't know any Japanese historical figures, though....yeah XD;;;; It ends with him being exorcised from Matsuura and Matsuura liking the changes made to the script and deciding to use it for the movie, THE END~
Of the three times I saw the show, two used this skit, including senshuuraku.
My senshuuraku ticket was one I bought on Y!Auctions at the last minute, really wanting to see the Yuzawa show. It wasn't a very good one (98), but I was there! Luckily enough, though, there were two side seats on the 4th row when we got inside, so I squeezed in next to another girl, and when Daiki came around to sell stuff (as he always does), she cautiously started talking to me. It always makes me happy when people do that, 1) because I have someone to talk to then, and 2) I know it takes a good bit of courage to just start up a conversation not only with a total stranger, but with one who may not understand a word you're saying, resulting in embarrassment on both parties.
She first started off asking about the badges Daiki was selling--what kinds there were, how much they were, if I thought she should buy some etc. She wound up buying three from him, cute ones too XD She was a Yuzawa-san fan, it turned out, and while she liked *pnish*, she wasn't really into the musical scene, and hadn't seen many *pnish* shows.
Before the show got started, Daiki passed around a bucket of candy for everyone XD I guess cause it was senshuuraku? It was tasty anyways :D Unfortunately, boy obviously hadn't planned for everyone there, and only about half got a treat XD;;;;; Silly leader :P
Yuzawa's talk corner was quite amusing. He gave Daiki some new headphones (a really pretty red color, specifically because of *pnish* :DDDDDD) for his birthday, and they shared a duet of Yozora no Mukou...with Yuzawa giving Daiki a score of 100 points at long last~!! At senshuuraku last time, he only gave him 38 points I believe XD;;; His reasoning for this unusually high score, was that he wanted Daiki to finally stop coming to him for lessons, dammit, and to just take his graduation certificate and go XD And to please never ever tell anyone that Yuzawa was his teacher XDDDDDD
They chatted for a bit about their next projects, and the possibility of another Maria Magdalena for Yuzawa (which Daiki idly mused he wanted to be in, and Yuzawa said, "...Mmm, we'll see." and you should have SEEN how big Daiki's eyes got XDDDDDDDD) and how it was about time for Yuzawa to be in another *pnish* show (YES YES YES).
They then discussed, for some reason, putting on shows! As in, something like Magdalena or Ayakashi, where they themselves have to shoulder all the responsibility for scriptwriting, casting, renting spaces, etc. Good god, I had IMAGINED things, but...the MONEY that goes into this stuff! Ayakashi alone apparently cost 2,000,000 yen, or about $20,000 @____@ GOD, WTF???? And if I heard correctly, Magdalena was somewhere around 1.6 million (~$16,000). EESH. I suppose when you think about it, it makes sense; ~3 months' salary for the actors and staff, rental fees for rehearsal halls and theaters, travel fees if you do shows in multiple cities, etc. But STILL. When you actually see it in terms of yen/dollars and whatnot...man XD And then on TOP of that you have to try to make a profit from ticket sales...!
*wants to help these boys out more than ever now* No wonder they're still living in shoebox apartments :P Nagayan's probably dreaming of the day he can finally afford a closet to store his clothes in and not to just sleep in :DDDDD
BTW apparently they're going to announce details for the next *pnish* honkouen (so NOT another On -- a real play) at *pnish* room~!! *MUST GET TICKETS* Come oooonnnnn MahaMo 2 :DDDDDor Samurai Mode 2, I'll settle for that! Daiki even hinted at it after the skits with Saiga!!

Date: 2010-01-25 10:11 pm (UTC)Maybe that makes me feel a little better about shelling out so much money for each performance? XD; If they play basically sold-out showings each time, then they probably make their money back okay.
