fencer_xFinally back in Tokyo (...while all the boys are at their Fukuoka uchiage...) and have just finished scanning and uploading the pamphlet/photosets I got!
"So, Tsuchiya-san, you've got a guitar there--how about a song?" The set director was one Tuti had worked with before, and while he could normally appreciate a good-natured jab at his now-infamous attempts to pull a chord or two out of the instrument, he wasn't entirely in the mood to do so in front of Takashi right now. Really, there were some things his boyfriend could be absolutely brutal about in his teasing, and anything involving Tuti and music was fair game, as far as Takashi was concerned.
A quick glance across the low table between them, however, brought his gaze in line with Takashi's amused, hopeful expression, lips pursed and brows raised, as if to say, 'Well?'
It was some foul combination of a few basic chords and nonsensical sounds (he didn't need to try to concentrate on his fingering while trying to tune out Takashi's snorts and snickers, thank you very much) that represented lyrics he didn't want to butcher in front of everyone else (that was for at home, in the shower), but...well, Tuti had to admit, it was one of his best performances yet, all things told. Which probably said a lot about how far he'd come in his self-taught lessons...
...and yet somewhere, in the clamor of his attempts to muster through an older Beatles song, a clear, practiced voice came showboating in on top of him, weaving in and out of his harmony and pushing him along through the harder bits his fingers got tangled in, occasionally even nudging in a few pronunciation-mangled lyrics when memory served him. After a moment, it was less Tuti singing, and more him just playing, letting Takashi take the reins like he knew the guy had been wanting to do since the set director's suggestion to incorporate a little music into the shoot.
Tuti, not surprisingly...was pretty okay with this.
...I dunno, the urge to write what was TOTALLY going on then just struck me :D
In other news, Nagayan is still hot, especially when scanned in HQ:
