fencer_xSo, not a spoiler: THE SHOW WAS AMAZING. But then...we were already expecting that, no? :D A few last minute changes meant I wound up going with ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
rensahannou instead of my initial partner-in-BuriMyu-going, but this worked out as we had an AWESOME time together.
I've separated out this post into two parts--photoset and pamphlet pics below (low quality, because I snapped them with my camera. HQ ones come when I get back to Tokyo tomorrow XD), only select ones though :P
The second cut has my thoughts/notes on the show, including a full song list and fun comments I made XD Choose to read it or not, if you don't want to be spoiled ^___^
From the pamphlet, I was...a little disappointed, as initially I had expected to be bowled over by TxN from their shoot, since they shot together with Eiki! Yet Nagayan was often in pics with Kumiko, while Tuti was often in them alone with Eiki. Well I suppose it made sense being taichou/fukutaichou and all, but still.
However...I realized on closer inspection...we were definitely not deprived of some prime Tuti/Nagayan shots that are going to fuel some fic liekwhoa.
Exhibits A-C:
...Yes, that's Tuti, playing the guitar...and Nagayan listening and singing along *________* I repeat: TUTI AND NAGAYAN SINGING TOGETHER AND DUETING AND TOTALLY PREPPING FOR WHAT WILL LIKELY BE TUTI'S GUESTING SPOT AT NAGAYAN'S NEXT LIVE FOR SURE. I dunno, but guh. What brought this on?! Tuti's sudden interest in guitar, I mean?!
In other news, for the Momo+Kaidoh fans out there...
...This could make me seeeeeriously reconsider my current Eiji shipping tendencies XD
Nagayan is afraid of poodles...? This could spell trouble for Lala-chan! Or maybe it's just massive ones? :D
I'm pretty sure these are sequential XD As that's Eiki taking the pic of Tuti on the left...and then a picture, with the note, "Photographer: Kitamura Eiki" XDDDDD
Now we move on to the official pamphlet pics and not the offshots above...

AND NOW NAGAYAN'S VERSION OF THE HOTNESS! Coincidentally (???) also shot in what appears to be the same hotel lounge bar XD (both Eiji's and Tacchan's were in alternate locations). Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm :D

So our seats were quite a bit better than I had expected, and although slightly off to the side, we managed to be on the horizontal aisle (not the aisles going down from back to front, but the one from side to side), which proved fortuitous later on 8D
Funnily enough, they were playing Nickelback before the show, wtf XD Who let Tuti bring his CD collection to Fukuoka? Also funny: the fact that, until ~10 min before show time, there were 3 rows of unfilled seats in the center near us. I wondered if they were for kankeisha, and Kaede reminded me...that both Eiji and Eiki are from Kyuushuu...and sure enough, those seats filled with people who looked like family :D (also, quite a few younger kids o_O)
In a nod to them, perhaps, it appears the cast are doing voice overs to give the warnings for show-viewing before the show (turn off your cellphones, etc.), and today it was Eiji XDDDD He was quite hilarious at it~

1) Dark of the Bleeding Moon
Yup, we start off with a bang -- literally, there were EXPLOSIONS to get the show started XD Full cast singing an old favorite, with some short quick reenactments of key scenes, including a suuuuper hot little Tuti/Nagayan fight scene :DDDDDDD They got, erm, up close and personal :D DO LIKE.
2) Hona Sainara
You read that right: it's the SECOND SONG. Ichigo complains that that kitsune yarou always gets to sing his special song at the end and take all the credit, and yes he IS jealous of that, so he should have to sing it first...so of course it becomes a full cast song (*pouts* I wanted to hear Tuti sing it solo again...) complete with, of all things, A CHORUS LINE. The whole cast gets in line to do high kicks, it was made of awesome.
3) Yuzurenai Mono
The penlight song! Complete with taiin in the aisles~! Unfortunately, hubby was nowhere near us--we had Kuri on one side and That Other Taiin member on the other XD
4) Kawaranai Kimochi
With Miki's part sung by...Eiji o_O The theme this time appeared to be, "Let's have people sing different parts!" to...good and bad results XD; Best part of this song, though, was hands down: NAGAYAN SHOWBOATING LIKE HE OWNED THE RIGHTS TO THE RIVER, IDEK. I remember back in the early performances of this song, Tuti would get a little liberal with his part at afurete~, but holy shit Nagayan grabbed the reins and took off into the rafters with showboating during that part XD TWICE XDDDDDD He's a little shinigami Aretha.
5) [NEW SONG] Jazzy duet between Yoruichi and Byakuya, complete with discoballs and awesome XD
6) Josei Shinigami Kyoukai
7) Dansei Shinigami Kyoukai
...Yes, you read that correctly. Now, who made up this league of extraordinary gentlemen? In order: Hitsugaya, Izuru, Zaraki, Ichigo, Ikkaku, Hisagi, and Renji XD
Their uniforms: THE BEST THING EVER--black hakama, taped abdomens, bare chests, black haori draped over their shoulders, and dark sunglasses. YES, MOST OF THE MALE CAST WERE OUT ON STAGE HALF NAKED. And singing this really hot enka-ish old style song that sounded like something fishermen in the 1800s would sing XDDDDD The song was really short, though, as they were interrupted in their errant display of masculinity by pimp!Kope who had all the wimmins to himself XD
8) Tsumetai Ame (can't remember if this is the name, one of the older Ichigo solos)
9) Semai Sora
Miki, as usual, was amazing singing, guh. If anything, she's gotten better *______*
10) Te wo Tsunagou (again, not sure on the name -- an Ichigo and Rukia duet from earlier shows)
11) [NEW] Zaraki solo, this led into the scene Kubo wrote just for the musical, which involved Zaraki in the hospital having a talk with Unohana about pain. Probably fascinating if you're a fan :D
[USO CONTEST]
This looks like it'll be the daily ad-libbing corner. Tuti comes out, mentioning that back at Film Fes, a few cast members had expressed a desire to recreate Gin's ".....Uso...!" scene with Rukia themselves, and he was more than happy to oblige. He first gave an example of a proper uso (after NagaHitsu demanded one *loves pissy Nagayan*), by having Kope come assist, with Tuti telling a random lie, then leaning in reeeeeeaaaaaaally closely (*prays to god it changes every time*) and doing his uso. He then chose a random other cast member, and had them choose their partner, and then they had to reenact their own version of an uso scene. After three or four rounds he chose a winner. The contestants today were:
--Hitsugaya and Momo
--Ichigo and Rukia
--Zaraki and Hisagi
The winner in the end was Momo (who'd pretended she hurt her hand after patting Hitsugaya on the head [spiky hair and all XD], then delivering a stellar uso), and she was invited to give an acceptance speech.
...but that's not all she got.
TUTI, TELL HER WHAT SHE'S WON: "Since Hinamori-chan won the uso contest...she gets to help us out in the next song, as we're missing a participant."
12) Catharsis of Eternity (in new Hueco Mundo outfits, no less :D)
...which was kind of weird, really, having Hinamori singing Aizen's part XD;;;; At the end, a voice over of Aizen came on saying he was actually satisfied with Hinamori's performance, and so wasn't angry she'd sung it. The first part seemed pretty generic, like it could've been addressed to anyone (and thus used every time for the adlibbing scenes), but towards the end it seemed to get personal...so I'm wondering how it's going to go? Won't know til I see another, or hear another report :(
13) [NEW] Duet with Hitsugaya and Renji
It's supposed to be about their old friendships with people (Renji--> Rukia, Hitsugaya-->Hinamori, I suppose?) and while it was nice...ngh, Nagayan and Eiji :PPPPPP
14) Taiin song (Dareka Oshiete) - ah yes, their old standby XD
Dareka oshiete kure, ore-tachi wa ittai doushite konna koto yarasareteru ndarou...soshite yappari nanbantai nandarou...?
15) Fukutaichou song (forgot the name... XD)
16) Mou Hitotsu no Chijou
Yes, they manage to do it without Aizen or Rangiku...and add in Yoruichi as a singer and Ichigo...as backup dancer XDDDDD They skipped around a bit in the ordering, to make everything stream better I suppose, and Yoruichi's kickass verse came after Ikkaku and before Soi Fong. And of course, they came down from the rear entrances :D Nagayan was at the front on the left, and Tuti was somewhere on the right I couldn't see.
Also, there were LIT TORCHES on stage @___@

...Until SOME DO-S PERSON DECIDED TO WADDLE HIS BIG-FOREHEADED ASS OVER IN FRONT OF OUR GAIJIN CONTINGENT AND FREAK US THE HELL OUT BY LEANING OVER THE RAILING AT US. (SERIOUSLY, MAN. I love you, but you frighten the fuck out of me, go be hot elsewhere D:)
...And that was it ;____; There was some exploding confetti/streamers to be had, as well, so be sharp when you attend!
