It's Friday, yaaaay!
Tomorrow is KOREA! Yaaay.......? XD; I've started going over my schedule in detail, and have found out now that I'll have to get up about 3:30 in the morning, so that I can be out of my apartment by 4:30 to walk to Shin-Ookubo station, because I can't get to Narita by 7:20 otherwise >_> Shin-Ookubo's fricking FAR :( I could take a taxi but nnnngh, I'm cheap. Just have to remember to wear something good to walk in...
In 24 hours, I'll be in the air on my way to Korea baby 8D Hopefully seated next to someone nice who's not afraid of me, because I STILL don't know a single soul going >_>
Oh and I was just reviewing the schedule, and saw something that was probably really good I missed until now, as I would be freaking out: 3 min in heaven with Nagayama-sensei >______>
Okay maybe not the "in heaven" part, but we have to go, one by one, ALONE, to his room (HIS ROOM. HIS. ROOM.) and talk to him. For 3 minutes.
FUCK ME :(((((((((( I love that guy but DON'T STICK ME IN A ROOM ALONE WITH HIM. IMAYWILL SAY EMBARRASSING THINGS. (on the bright side, I may get to give him that English lesson after all XD;)
dammit how come none of you people are going on this stupid trip with me?!
Also, what time should I try to go to bed...? I'm going to exchange yen for won (Korean currency) after work, and then headed home to eat and pack and probably go to bed. I know I won't be able to go to bed too early, because I suck that way, but I don't want to be a zombie. I'll just try and convince myself it's like me and
analineblue getting up at the buttcrack of dawn to go stand in line for a 4th child :DDDDD
Yoooosh, time to finish work so I can go on my overseas vaycay~!

Date: 2009-12-04 02:54 am (UTC)Yep! No problem! Many times I have had to get up at stupid times to catch red-eye flights with my parents.

Date: 2009-12-04 01:45 am (UTC)(and you went to Seoul?? Did you know any Korean? How was customs there?? I've never been to a country where I didn't speak the language, and while I'm sure it won't be THAT big a problem, I'd like to be prepared XD;;)

Date: 2009-12-04 01:51 am (UTC)Yeah, just for a long weekend. I didn't know any Korean and it was a little harder than I anticipated to get around that. (For instance, they don't usually have the picture menus in restaurants like they do in Japan, so even if I could sound out the Hangul - they don't really use kanji at all, just sometimes in the train stations and on old temples and such - it meant nothing to me). Customs was not a problem but they did take a long time staring at me and my passport and at first I was like "omg are they even going to let me in?" (Mine was a little complicated though because I'd had a legal name change and that was apparently Highly Suspicious. still not as stressful as going thru customs/immigration in Russia, but at least I can speak Russian)
I think you will be fine once you are there because I'm assuming there are a lot of planned activities. :)
Prices are cheap compared to Japan so if you have time, you should check out the shopping/market areas! I got some great jewelry and accessories there. I don't know what the exchange rate is like now, but at the time I just sort of lopped off one zero to get an approximate price in yen.

Date: 2009-12-04 01:56 am (UTC)My passport should be okay, though, so that's something of a weight off my shoulders, whew! And I'm going to exchange money before I get to the airport so I won't have to deal with that XD; Now to decide what to bring back as omiyage...

Date: 2009-12-04 02:29 am (UTC)Hmm the omiyage I've gotten and given before has been Korean nori, but depends on who you're buying for, of course XD
have fun!

Date: 2009-12-04 04:41 am (UTC)>.> ....probably.
And I hope Korea isn't like Russia with the passports. They really are suspicious there.

Date: 2009-12-04 05:17 am (UTC)Have a great time!!!! I too would be a little (a lot) nervous about 3 minutes of alone time with Nagayan... of course, he and I would just stare at each other, or anything else in the room seeing as I can't speak Japanese and he English aside from shouting out inappropriate profanity during plays... thought that might be fun ;) Hmmmm... too bad there isn't a way (without giving certain preferences away) for you to teach him something to that would impress Tuti in the English department... someones gotta but that boy in his place.
Again, have a super, great and fantastic time! I know I'm not the only one who will be waiting for your update of events form the trip!
