"That one?" Takashi nodded to a gravestone with 'Tsuchiya-ke' written on it.

Tuti nodded in reply. Takashi stood in front of the grave, looking at it intently while waiting for Tuti to catch up. The grave was neat and really taken care of. There was fresh remains of incense at its foot.

"Looks like your mother just here." Takashi commented as Tuti settled himself beside him, shoulders brushing against Takashi's.

Tuti shrugged, "Or my sister." He then bent to put the wooden water bucket he'd been carrying on the pavement and poured some on to the gravestone. Takashi moved, too, arranging the white chrysanthemums they bought earlier, in to the stone vase. Tuti then crouched, lighting some incenses. As the the transparent smoke brought sweet scent of frangipani around them, Tuti coughed a little and touched the wet stone.

"What was he like?" Takashi asked softly.

Tuti frowned a little. "Actually, I don't really remember him that much but Yumiko always said that I resembles him eventhough she doesn't say which part."

Takashi smirked. "I'm sure it's not the loud and annoying part. That's pure you." He nodded firmly.

Tuti gapped. "I don't believe you dare to insult me in front of my father's grave. Now you would never get his blessing."

"Oh, I'll get his blessing. I believe that he knows I'm the only person on this planet who wants to marry you or be your life partner, in this case."

Tuti gasped dramatically. "I don't believe you. Anyway." Tuti averted his gaze to his father's grave again. "I remembered him to be always laughing. It was always merry around him. So yes, Nagayama-san, I enherited my famous and charming laugh from him." Takashi rolled his eyes. Tuti was silenced for a while. He licked his lower lip. "Other than that, I don't really remember."

Takashi touched Tuti's arm and smiled when Tuti looked at him. "He sounds like a nice man."

Tuti smiled back at him and touched Takashi's hand with his other hand and squeezed a little.

"So." Takashi broke the silence again, "You're going to tell him? Or should I--"

Tuti shook his head. "No. Let me." He took a deep breath then clasped both of his hands in front of his face. "Dad, this is Nagayama Takashi. As much as I want to tell you that he's going to be a Tsuchiya, I can't. He's a boy, you see. Just like me. And... uh... Mom likes him. Yuiko, too. Uh... Just like he said, he's the only one who put up with me for a long time. Six years, that is." He takes a deep breath. His hand twitched a litte bit. Takashi suspected he would've scratched the back of his head if they were in a different situation.

Tuti continued. "To tell the truth, I never imagine to bring him here but now that we're living together and I really want to spend the rest of my life with him, I think I have to do this. I know you might be disappointed with me for not bringing a cute little wife instead but Dad, I am happy with him and I do love him. So please, give us your consent." With that, he clapped his hands twice.

Takashi palmed his face. "What?" Tuti asked as he looked at Takashi.

"Seriously? Seriously? Was that really a way to introduce me to your late father and tell him about us? Seriously?"

"Shuddup. You couldn't do better than that." Tuti stood up and patted his jeans. "Let's go. Yumiko expects us to have lunch with her."

"Ah, wait!" Takashi cut in as Tuti grabbed the wooden bucket and was ready to leave.

"What?"

Takashi faced the gravestone and put both of his hands in front of his face. His eyes were closed and there was silence for a full minute. Then he relaxed and turned to Tuti. "Let's go."

Tuti nudged Takashi's elbow as they strolled along the pavement leading to the gate. "What did you say to my father?"

Takashi pursed his lips. "Nothing, really. Just... thanks. For inheriting the laugh to you."

Tuti laughed. "Whaaaat?"

"Or else." Takashi quickly added before Tuti got the change to mock him. He stopped and looked right at Tuti. "I wouldn't notice you right away six years ago."

-the end-

please forgive the randomness, the grammar error and everything :D

”I saw you wiping your eyes.”

Yuichi flinched, spinning to see Takashi looking smug and slightly amused. “What—how dare you accuse—“ He turned back to the counter, turning off the faucet with damp hands.

“You teared up.”

“I did no such thing.” Yuichi protested indignantly, waving a finger, splashing water droplets on the shorter man’s lapels.

Takashi chuckled to himself and adjusted the cuffs of his shirt underneath his jacket.

“I was jealous.” Yuichi murmured.

“Yeah, that happens.”

“Really jealous.”

“Nn.”

“When will we get that?” There was more force in Yuichi’s voice than he’d anticipated and more emotion than Takashi had heard in a while.

“Soon enough, or maybe never.” His reply was quiet, and Yuichi frowned. “I, for one, hope for the former, though.”

“I guess you can only hope.”

“’Only’, indeed.”

(So, it's supposed to be write after the ceremony and I don't know much about the ceremony but it's just some flash fiction. XD;;; Sorry. I'm not one for sexytiems with these two today for some reason.)
