FUKKATSU! GOLDEN PAIR~♪

Okay, so...I have a very ambitious project! It involves golden_pair, all 5 GP casts, lots of picspam, and hopefully SOMETHING of a revival in interest in the pairings, TeniMyu, and the pairing in TeniMyu :D

So, I was scrolling through my flist this morning, and saw fic got posted to golden_pair. Now, you may or may not know it, but GP is pretty much my OTP of OTPs (and surprisingly enough, I've never written anything for it o_O), and I'm ALWAYS up for new ways to revitalize fandom. I know a good few people on my flist are also fans of the pairing (and if you're not, what'd you click that cut for?! :P), or at the very least like the boys in the Myus, SO! I'm here to get a little feedback.

I want to kind of do a big picspam/infospam/post-of-love post to the GP comm to try and drum up interest among any members over there who may not be familiar with TeniMyu or really interested, who might not realize how much fun it is seeing the scenes we love most in the manga re-enacted on stage by real people (and that goes for ALL the guys of course, not just GP ;D), or who just need a reminder if they've fallen out of love with TeniMyu and not looked back!

Now, for me personally, this would be a CINCH...if all I wanted to put up there was info/picspam on 1st and 5th casts :P But I definitely wanna have ALL the casts (especially pics up) so that people can see the evolution (or...de-aging XD) of the casts over time--one person's "Perfect GP Actors" are definitely not another's, and I don't care HOW people get in, so long as they GET IN XD

So...are there any helpful souls who'd be willing to go back and screencap their 2nd/3rd/4th cast DVDs for awesome GP moments (or even individual shots, too--but pair shots are always better in this case :D) and maybe draft up some info--basics like their names, myus they played in, maybe some off-stage interaction, and if possible--any info on how they viewed their roles/their Golden Pair? Plus any extra info you think might help draw more people into checking out the Myus for more awesome GP action ^___^

With 1000+ members over there, there's got to be at least a FEW people who've never heard of TeniMyu, riiiiight?? Or someone who LOVED Rokkaku and so they watched RokkakuMyu...and never watched anything else (CRAZY. I KNOW.)! These are the people I wanna reach out to, SO SOMEONE HEEEEEELP :D Or this will be HORRIFICALLY BIASED (and you know me, I do not lie about this shit) to 1st and 5th casts, at least in terms of amount of info/picspam, and we don't want more spam with those idiots, right?? :D

And of course I'd credit whoever wanted to take over which section (like if X person wanted to do a paragraph and some picspam for Zukkii and Adachi, but Y person just wanted to do TakiYuki and Setomaru, I'd just separate the sections by person :D) so it doesn't look like I'm taking credit for your stuff ;)

I end this plea with some crap I came up with in Photoshop last night (see also: icon used in this post), at which point I realized my LJ is not friends-only, and thus this is of no use to me other than to staaaaare at :D

Mm...I'd also love to write stuff up but...I don't think I know enough about them. >>;; So I feel really bad now not offering to do anything but...I completely support this, either way, and it sounds like fun, getting people interested in Tenimyu and our Golden Pairs~

Umm, I dunno! Do you feel particularly attached to 2, 3, or 4th cast GP? Can you do some screencapping/blogpicspamming of some sort or write up some info or something on one of those?

I don't even HAVE any 3rd or 4th cast DVDs or rips (their rival teams didn't interest me XD;), so I couldn't cap anything for them even if I wanted to ^^;

I was a bit attached to Seto Koji and Takiguchi Yukihiro. I have (or rather used to have, but know where to download) a bunch of stuff with them. ^^;

I have to say, there is a lack there in of GREAT GP fics, IMHO, which completely boggles my mind because isn't it at least the slap you in the face pairing for PoT? I would've thought there'd be more (like the MILLIONS Of TezuFuji fics out there...), but alas... there just isn't.

Then again... I myself have only made it through writing 50 GP sentences, so... I guess I shouldn't point fingers or anything like that... *hangs head*

Though, I have to say, your enthusiasm makes me want to catch up on what I am missing in the TeniMyu world...

I have no idea! I just...guess I've been so overwhelmed with TxN and ExD and theatre RPS in general...that any and all other fandoms fell by the wayside? XD I'd probably have to really sit and think about a storyline and stuff, too >_< I feel like I don't know those two nearly well enough to do them justice, and yet I LOVE THEM SO? It is paradoxical :P I DO want to do something though~

I definitely agree with you regarding the lack of GREAT GP fics. There are some out there, but they're so few ;__; And so many of our writers moved on or dropped off the face of the planet _o_

You really should hop back on the train :) I've never felt this spastic about a cast before, and I just want to spam the world with their awesomeness :D I don't even like Rikkai! I just LOVE 5th cast that much :P

See, I have seriously been playing with icon making lately (as if I need something else to distracting me from things I SHOULD be doing...) I'm finding it's rather addicting, and time consuming, and a little frustrating, but insanely fun. It's basically been a learn through doing process here.

Haha, okay then :D When do you want to have this all done by? I won't have much free time until I get settled in in Fukuoka, so probably in a week or so.

Also.....how, um, objective should we be? :D Also how in-depth. Like, for blog posts where they really talk about their characters or each other, is an overview okay, or should we include links to the entries and available translations?

....I think I'm already getting a little too excited over this :P Reliving the days of 3rd-cast is something I could get a bit carried away with~

I don't want to make the sections SO long that people go "DDDDD: omg tl;dr", so I'm mainly looking for stuff that if people saw it, their little slashy hearts would do a double-bump and they'd be like, "Okay, I HAVE to see more of this!!" :DDDDD

It's mainly aimed at GP shippers already, so anything slashy (but less on the RPS side, and more on the on-stage personas and how each guy approached his own character as well as the pair -- though of course things like the guys hanging out to deepen their friendship, etc, would be awesome too!) would be perfectly welcome ^___^

Links to translations probably aren't necessary, but little quotes would be good if you've got them :)

I will help in this venture, and take the second cast if nobody wants them. My fave is always the 1st cast, but I'll take a crack at the 2nd cast. I've kinda ignored the casts past that, much to my embarrassment, minus cuter-than-sliced-bread Setomaru.

And I definitely agree that we need more good GP fics. They are seriously the most canon of all pairings in that manga and yet there is so little love.

I'd love to have more happen with the golden pair, it really is my biggest otp and I do admit that I haven't been as into the fandom as I should be but I'm now willing to try and do all I can to keep it amazing. XD Don't mind me, I'm just rambling. I'd also be willing to try and write more stuff for this too.

And for shaaaame :P Everyone's saying these boys are the best GP yet (challenging Tuti and Nagayan even, who are really only holding the top rank by continuing to be gay together after the fact) for damn good reason!! :P
