Eh, she seems like she's a sweet girl, just based on glancing around her blog a few months back, but you know, human. "Sama" is overkill, though. I mean, eh, she's living out the insane dream I had when I was nine (be famous manga-ka and actress in Japan) but I don't think she's so fantastic or anything.

That was awfully rude of me to actually say that though...

You'd think she was crazy (literally, something wrong with her mind) if you'd been around TeniMyu fandom before she became a god :P Wanting to use psychics to solve murder trials, creeping out actors backstage, getting ticked off at Nagayan introducing her as a fan of his (rather than what?!), and of course, charging insane amounts of cash for goods, simply because she had access to them.

That kind of ripping off of the fandom was what sent me over the edge, and partially why I created goodbye_money. It's her prerogative (and that of a few others still in fandom) to charge what they want, but it's downright disrespectful to fellow fandom members to make them pay 2, 3 times the price just because you can't manage your own finances.

Yes, she seems like a perfectly nice kawaii kirakira special lucky girl on the surface. Please don't think that's the hinoai many of us grew up in fandom with. At all.

And I qualify this with yes, I'm sure she IS nice to her friends, as I've met many of these friends who just generally make me go "WHYYYY?" in my mind at how they can put up with her, but I'm sure there has to be some aspect to her to keep good friends, so.

But to me, I'll never be able to see her as anything more than a crazy chick who rips off fandom and wants more glory, as she hasn't proven to be anything beyond that in something like 5 years :P

:: I have heard from friends of hers that she also has the tendency to be an absolute bitch TO THEM. And that one of those friends just lets Hinoai walk all over her simply because Friend loves Yasuka and Yasuka&Hinoai are BFFs. Like, Hinoai did something really awful to Friend but Friend didn't even say anything about it. (And this is not hearsay.)

People who still worship her just want in on her myu access.

Looking back at that fan's post, I see the only comment is by hinoai herself, telling the fan that's it's okay not to call her "sama"...

And also, somehow, she still managed to sound a bit... hmm... well... over-confident(?) in that comment. Maybe like she was flattered at the "sama" or something?
