Boku no tori ga nigechatta! SHIBATAAAAAA!!

So, hughes_maes and I marathoned what I had downloaded of Shibatora, the drama the upcoming special that Tuti and Nagayan will be in is based on, and all I have to say is:

WOW. We have been laughing our asses off and kinda slashing Tora-chan and Kojiro 8D and generally enjoying this show a hell of a lot XD We're 6 episodes in, and I've got others downloading as I type. Haven't found any characters I dislike yet, and have spotted lots of familiar faces!

Shinjo and lackey-whose-name-I've-forgotten-dammit, though, TOTALLY remind me of Tuti and Nagayan, from the way they interact (though Tuti and Nagayan are on more of a level playing field than it seems these two are) to their physical appearance even. Given that these two seem to be quite common faces in the scenes Tuti and Nagayan will be in, I'm really excited to see if THEIR combo is anything like this one *_____*

And the reaper hands? ARE FUCKING CREEPY.

I'm really enjoying this show a lot more than I expected, THANKS GUYS! ........now when will this be coming out? :DDDDDD

Tomorrow is ticket-getting, then heading to Shinjuku with Paula to buy more of the caramel-flavored mochi we got at Arashi's opening night ♥ And then...well, we'll be doing something both of us will likely REALLY REALLY regret later, but it'll be something to tell the kids and friends who won't think we're too crazy for having done it

I'm only 3 episodes in, but I totally agree about the interaction between those 2 guys being very TxN like. XDDD And seriously, it makes me wonder if Tuti and Nagayan were cast simply as another kind of pair to play off of them, you know?? Which is kind of entirely awesome. *________*

I mean, that feels like it HAS to be what it is. Like, they come in as a pair of cops from another unit or something, you know?? I can't see it being anything other than that... XDDDD jsdhfkjdhfjkhd *flails* When does this come out again???

WOO-HOO! I am in the process of DL too! I think I'm only on ep 4 right now (DL that is), but I did check out the first episode (to make sure it well... worked) and was pleasantly surprised to see the guy from the KIDS movie! Don't know why... but I think it's just the fact that I recognized someone! It's the little things, right?

I really don't need something else to be into... but it's a really good thing I don't watch any US television, but very hard to explain to people who just don't get what I DO watch *sigh*
