So, looking more closely at Tuti's 30th bday pic...

I think I actually know where he is in that shot o____o

Not, like, 100% sure EXACTLY where he's standing, but what I see behind him is pretty much what the area around the eastern side of Shibuya station looks like.

Here's his pic:

And here's a pic I took right outside of my work office (Minami-Aoyama, about a 20 minute walk along what's likely the road behind Tuti):



The major difference between the two is the height of the overpass (this area around Shibuya has local roads on either side of a large, overhead highway, with periodic on/off ramps), which leads me to believe it's closer to Shibuya station, especially since the overpass seems lower in Tuti's pic than it is around where I am. I will definitely be taking a picture next time I'm around there to PROVE IT 8D

Granted, I'm just really familiar with this area, and it might be a setup that's common at other stations too. Still XD It's kinda fun thinking Tuti was right around where I work if even for a moment -- it'd make sense at least, since Nelke's really near here too, and maybe he was dropping by to pick up fanmail or something?

GAH.

ETA: wtf is that icon?! That's not even one of MY icons...

ETA2: Okay, a FEW of my icons have suddenly been replaced by random weird images...wtf LJ???

If it is, one day you might run into Tuti in the street, coming from Nelke and then not have to marry Gaku because Tuti would instantly want to be your friend and give you all the inside-scoops like Tenchou does :D:D:D:D:D:D

LJ outsourced their usericon storage some time back, and the host has some issues with telling images apart. Cached images occasionally bleed over into other servers. Basically, don't worry, it's a technical problem on that side. Not quite sure what they're doing about this issue. I've never been hit myself, and people complain that X icon looks different (but it doesn't to me). I think it has to do with which server your userpics are hosted on, and which server you're accessing from--and the problem will go away as the servers clear the cache to refresh things. I realize I make no sense, but that's the gist of it.
