ハガキプロジェクト完成!!
5 February 2009 10:23 amIt's February 5th in Japan, and tomorrow is Tsuchiya Yuuichi's 30th birthday! I certainly hope he's making his last day of his 20s worthwhile, but on my end, I was up late putting the finishing touches on the postcard project!

The card that I dropped in to semi-explain the thing, it turned more into just a generic Happy Birthday card XD;;;
30才になったtutiさんへ ("To the now-30 tuti-san")
私たち海外ファンが ("We, your foreign fans")
ちょっとしたプレゼントをお送りします。 ("send you a small present")
うるさくても(つーかもっと騒いでください!)("Even if you're loud [actually, be louder!]")
ハゲても(キュートなおデコにきゅんっと!)("Even if you go bald [your cute forehead still drives us wild!]")
不細工でも(不細工じゃない!)("Even if you're busaiku [you're not busaiku!!]")
いつものtutiさんでいてください!("Please stay the same-old tuti-san!")
...I had fun coming up with that 8D

The Do-S sticker I sealed the card with 8DDDDD He damn well better appreciate that.

Front of the book, it's set up in almost exactly the same way Nagayan's was (hey, why mess with perfection?? :D) Some of the stickers it's hard to tell are chicks, stars (with country flags on them), martinis (and other booze), and lots and lots of happy birthday paraphernalia!

Shots of the front and a random inside page. As you can see, we spared no expense on stickers XD;;; We used...a LOT...of stickers...

The big letter at the end that's pretty much similar to the one I wrote to Nagayan, explaining that he's got fans all over the world, we love him the way he is, and even if we don't speak the same language, it's a testament to his charm and hilarity that we still became his fans :D Kinda hard to tell in the pic, but the stationery is yellow ^__^

And everything put together! I put this in a clear box, wrapped that in yellow wrapping paper, and then placed that inside of a shipping container, which I'll take to the post office at lunch (if I knew how to drop it off personally, I would XD seeing as I work in Minami-Aoyama 7-chome and Nelke is in Minami-Aoyama 5-chome :P).
Assuming all goes well, it'll get to Nelke by tomorrow, though I expect he probably won't pick up his presents and all until he gets back from Osaka this weekend.
Now all that's left is to see if anything comes of this! Keep your eyes peeled on his blog, people XDDDDD

Date: 2009-02-05 07:39 am (UTC)The way it is set out, does that mean one side of the post cards are stuck down? Or can they be removed so Tuti can see both sides? Just curious =p

Date: 2009-02-06 06:23 am (UTC)That "small" birthday present looks just awesome! Must have been a lot of effort to put this together, you can tell if you look at it =3 And the message on the card is so cute x3 "Even if you go bald [your cute forehead still drives us wild!]" I love that line~ xD
I hope my card arrived in time because I sent it a bit late o,o But even if it hasn't, it's still awesome to know that Tuti knows he has so many foreign fans :D
Thanks for organizing!! =D
waah! this is amazing!
Date: 2009-02-06 06:35 am (UTC)I'm the one who sent you my postcard way too late and I feel horrible about it... and I don't speak ANY Japanese so I had a lot of trouble writing it! O__O I hope you don't mind if I ask you to just pass it on to Tuti even if it's late. X__X I know there was no chance of it getting into the book, but if you're okay with sending it to him I would worship you forever.
On a different subject, I'm really new to pnish and Burimyu, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE it and I love Tuti and Nagayan, too. XD And I've been seeing all the TutixNagayan stuff all over the internet, and I like it but I'm sort of new to it still so I'll be back to read more about them on your LJ. I want to be converted! ^_^
Sorry I have absolutely NOTHING about myself on my page. I'm a busy student >___<
(except when I'm procrastinating watching pnish videos and fanatically saving pics of them off the internet! XD mwahaha)

Date: 2009-02-07 02:51 am (UTC)Anyway, that looks great. It must have taken forever! (Also, the excessive use of stickers is pretty much always a good thing. *nod*)
