Oh flist, you bring me the best news ♥____♥

1) Daiki's play has a name! "Ayakashi Kitan" (something along the lines of "Mysterious Ghost Story" -- Kitan is a scary story, and ayakashi is...an ayakashi :P Usually a ghost or something weird, though apparently it can also be used for "idiot/fool" o_O) It's a "Monster action comedy" and has...something of a cast!

So far we've got:
--Wasshi
--AC Factory's Ishikura Yoshitake
--Happou B-dan (which is no longer active IIRC?)'s Taguchi Osamu
--Secret Box's Kako Rion (Anikiiii~!)

([livejournal.com profile] eiko_c, where did you see there's gonna be a chick in it??)

And of course Kida Tsuyoshi's directing it (was in and directed Treasure Box, definitely an action kinda guy!) so should be pretty interesting :D Knowing Daiki, of course there'll be gags galore and probably some overwhelming show of friendship that may or may not be very, very gay. Plz to be delivering as you are wont to do, Leader ♥

2) REVERSE HISTORICA & SONO TETTOU DVDS ARE FINALLY OUT!! According to the *pnish* work diary, they're being sent out today (I think...) and should be here as soon as the post office gets its rear in gear! If you ordered both, they'll come at the same time, which might take a little longer, I'm worried :/ Also, when I ordered mine I was still living in Shiga, so while I DID fill out a change-of-address form (or rather, Meg did for me since I forgot XD), I'm wondering if the stuff gets sent to Shiga first and THEN comes up to me in Tokyo? *WANTS THESE DVDS REALLY REALLY BADLY. LIKE, NOW.*

3) *pnish* room flyers are going to be set out in La Foret starting today! 4 flyers, changed weekly every Wednesday, if you pick up all four between now and the show on the 28/29 (OH SNAP! NO MEAT NIGHT THIS MONTH PROBABLY!) you get a special present at the theater. Since La Foret is in Harajuku, this makes it really difficult for anyone not in Tokyo to get these :P The flyers will be in the flyer racks which are against the central pillars on every floor of the building, so there are lots it seems, and they're really easy to find.

Got paid yesterday, so food and karaoke tonight with [livejournal.com profile] hughes_maes!! Can't WAIT!

YEAY DVDs! I'm looking forward to seeing Reverse Historica!

Well, *pnish stuff you usually have to sign for, don't you? If so, you may have a bit of an issue depending on what service it is. I had a hassle getting concert tickets because they weren't through the post office, so no automatic mail forwarding. I called the delivery company and told them my new address, but at first they told me they'd have to send it back first and I should call the company that I bought the tickets from. Then I was like "umm, this concert is in less than two weeks..." Eventually somebody from the delivery place called and was like "you probably need these because they are concert tickets, huh" and I was like "yeah, pretty much" and I just gave her my new address over the phone...

It was a little bit irritating, though. (That was Kuroneko, methinks)

Nope, you actually DON'T have to sign for *pnish* stuff usually, as I've found out when I come home on occasion and see $300 worth of goods hanging from a plastic bag on my doorknob _o_ It's kind of hit and miss. DVDs, though, are generally small enough that if they can just fit them in the slit they'll leave them there for you.

You'll love Reverse Historica, definitely a classic *pnish* show even if only Eiji and Daiki were in it. Sono Tettou was much more of a drama/angstfest, though it was hilarious at times as well. Definitely recommend checking them both out!!

Awesome, then maybe it's a non-issue.

I'm really looking forward to seeing it. I gotta start going to see these shows; I was too intimidated to go to see *pnish originally because I thought I wouldn't be able to understand them. But ah, that was like 4 years ago and so what is my problem?!

Well if ever you need a play-seeing buddy, I'd be happy to go to one or six ^_~

They're having a *pnish* room talk event at the end of the month (advance tickets go on sale Saturday)--are you thinking of going? Unfortunately, they won't be having any more actual performances this year unless they do an On in December (which the way the individual members' schedules are looking, it's probably not going to happen).

Break me in, senpai! XD what is the room talk event about? :)? I'm out of town this weekend but I can ostensibly hit up a Lawson's or something.

Sweet :D I've never actually been to a Room event before (seeing as the last one they had was in 2005, and I've only been here just over a year--you can see some info on their 2004 Room here (http://www.pnish.jp/history/2004_04.html) though), but it's a talk event where they babble about their thoughts on shows they've done recently, tell funny stories about backstage stuff, etc. They revived it a little in their last On, but they're bringing it back as a full event at the end of this month (29/30).

You can definitely pop by a Lawsons if you've got the time -- the code is 33319 and they go on sale Saturday at 10 AM (advance sales -- general sales are the next weekend). Here's (http://www.pnish.jp/information/event.html#pnish-room6) all the info on it :)

Hmmm yeah, see, I think I would be lost at an event like that, unfortunately. I should probably hold out for their next play. Do they usually do plays all together or is it just certain members doing various things these days?

Yeah, it does kind of necessitate being somewhat familiar with what they've done--and I'm not even caught up on all that. At On6 they talked about individual members' stuff too, like Bambino for Wasshi and Eiji, that I hadn't seen and thus was completely lost on.

Right now the guys are all doing separate stuff (Eiji and Wasshi are doing Run&Gun, though, and they just got finished with Bambino, and in February they're doing Santies vol. 3, "32", which usually at least Daiki comes to crash). Their next all-four-member show likely won't be at least until early next year. They usually do at least one or two BIG shows together every year. And then every July 1st is HappyPani, their birthday event at Shibuya O-east.
