Weekend fun!

Well, my weekend went a lot better than I'd imagined it would--starting off with a fun Friday because my boss called, apologized for asking me to come in Friday when he'd said we could have it off, and then told me not to come in and take a holiday XDDDD

So Friday I went to COMIKET with reppu and kastra. It was only my second time going, but wow is it tiring every year @___@ It was SUPER hot (though apparently not as hot as last year's first day), but luckily enough we got in pretty quickly, only having to wait in the sun for an hourish before we got to get in, YAY.

I wasn't originally going to go, as things between me and Mitsuru are getting kinda awkward (I don't think she's that comfortable around non-Japanese TxN fans :/) and we hardly even talk to each other at events anymore, so I didn't want to go to the event and buy her stuff (I'd just get it online).

Instead I said "screw it" and sought her out and stocked up on her three new releases plus one of the other authors' new releases. I'll upload pics later, but this year I got:

1) Suki - short porny novel set during early TeniMyu in which Tuti gets drunk, passes out, Nagayan takes him home, they both realize they're single, and sex ensues (whaaaat XD;;;)

2) [name I forgot] - compilation of 3 or 4 previous short stories she'd written, most of which I'd read already. Porn porn porn. Has a pretty cover though *____*

3) [another name I forgot] - AOI/TAKAKO XDDDD Half manga, half novel, I haven't read the novel. I can't tell if Takako's really supposed to be a girl or what, but Tuti's hot as Aoi XD Also, I dunno if I'll EVER be able to read it because OI VEY the language @___@

I browsed the GP section also for old times' sake, and picked up some nice stuff from Yutaka Megumi (including an anthology I already had XD;;;; anyone want it?? Beautiful art, adorable stories, she's one of my favorite doujinka *___* I'll post pics later~)

After that we killed time before meeting up with aiwritingfic with Coco's curry and karaoke in Shibuya, then met up with Ai and sang MORE karaoke, then most of our group left for the evening, but Bri, Ai, and I headed to TGIFridays ourselves and had dinner.

Bri stayed the night at my place, and the next morning (Saturday) we woke up early and headed to Shibuya AGAIN so I could harrass Tenchou get one of the new Blossam shirts. Those of you tuned in to fifi_on_the_go probably saw it already, but when I showed up about 20 minutes after the numbers were given out, there was no one there. I couldn't go up and ASK Tenchou for a number, because the gate to the store was down, so I was confused as to what I should do. I poked my head around to see inside, hoping there was a sign or something telling people what to do, and it turned out Tenchou was actually right there setting it out!

When he noticed us he ran upstairs and got a ticket and told us to come back at 11, so Bri and I killed some time at a net cafe before going back to get me my shirt. After that, we went shopping over in Ikebukuro at Animate, K-books, and had lunch at El Torito in Sunshine City (the same Sunshine City where Tuti was at that very moment doing his show XDDDD). That evening it was MORE karaoke with the girls and dinner at Duckie Duck in Yuurakuchou.

Sunday I slept in and met up with Bri and Angie again for lunch at La Pauza in Ikebukuro (mmmm Italian~), where it started to rain. We were going to kill the hour before they had to leave at karaoke again, but as it was full and expensive, we went to Yamada Denki instead and looked at all the stuff we couldn't afford like TVs, washing machines, and air conditioners :D

I've got this nasty habit lately of randomly passing people I KNOW aren't the guys but look a lot like them, and it kind of makes me go all dokidoki even though they obviously aren't--whether their hair looks the same, or their clothes, or their face looks KINDA similar if I squint and cock my head. wtf self. Desperate much?

I bought a new phone on Thursday evening and realized I actually get TV reception on it (*____*)--and of all channels I get TBS (the Ururun channel) AND Asahi TV...one week late :P (Asahi TV was the channel Dageki Tenshi Ruri came on, in which Nagayan guested last week >_<)

My bed and bookcase haven't shipped from Amazon yet, and it's been almost a week :/ I want to be able to UNPACK. Argh.

Tuti's Arashi tomorrow, BuriMyu Wednesday, Wasshi next Friday, NagaJo the day after. Cats the Saturday AFTER that. It needs to be three weeks from now NOW XD

I am indeed! If you're familiar with Yutaka Megumi's stuff, it's the GP Union anthology with the green background and Oishi and Eiji lying on their backs on the grass. If you aren't familiar with it, I'll take some pics and post them tomorrow ^_~

I love her art, hence why I'm pretty sure I already have it XD I'll make sure tonight, and if it turns out I do have it, you're welcome to it :) It'd probably be something like 1200yen (it's quite a large book *____*).

I'm actually new to Tenipuri doujinshi-buying, so I haven't heard of Yutaka Megumi. But, it sounds like I haven't downloaded it yet, since I'm pretty sure that I don't have any anthologies on my computer. Plus, I'm all for buying GP things, even if I did have the downloaded version. :3

If you're planning on selling it right away, I'll probably need to pay in USD (unless paypal can convert currency?). 1200 yen, plus shipping I'm assuming, doesn't sound bad to me, though. ^_^

I don't own much myself--just a few GP doujinshi :) (and of course gads of TxN now XD), but she has quite a bit of her stuff out there, you'll probably recognize her art ^_^

Paypal automatically converts, no matter what your original currency. Just select "yen" from the dropdown menu to pay. I'll invoice you, though, so you won't even have to worry about it, just click "pay".

Oh, I also had one of this last minute decisions and went to Comiket. Looked for some tenimyu but couldn't find any. I went there on sunday, so maybe there was nothing interesting left? I dunno
I also went to gain on Saturday and got my t-shirt. And I wanted to go to Daizo's concert today, but I don't have much money left :(
If you are going to Arashi tomorrow, we may meet, as I am going too ^^ And Burimyu on Wednesday! YAAAY ^^ can't wait!!
So, if you have the anthology at hand (as you haven't unpacked yet, right?) and wanna get rid of it already, you have plenty of chances left

lol you can't just decide to go to Comiket randomly--it's like going to a foreign country :D Takes lots of planning and research. The reason you didn't find any TeniMyu stuff on Sunday is because Jump Day (when doujinshi for Shonen Jump series) was Friday XD;;; Sunday was Original Mangaka day ^^;;

I don't know how early or late I'll be for the show tomorrow, so maybe it will be better to meet afterwards. I will try and remember the doujinshi.
