Bored and unwilling to wait for the next drabble meme, I stole two prompts from previous incarnations 8D;;;

"Wait--no, no, stop Daiki-chan..." Eiji waved his hands wildly, fumbling around behind himself to pause the karaoke track on the CD player and nearly knocking their most expensive piece of AV equipment onto the floor instead. Managing to save it, he turned back to Daiki who stood a few feet away, hands on hips and head dropped down in concentration. Or depression. Or both.

"It's la-lala-la--" he waved one hand to demonstrate the rise in pitch, "--not la-lala-la--" He repeated the gesture, now reflecting the nasty note *pnish*'s Leader had hit by mistake during the recent run-through of one of the songs for Daiki's next musical. "You had it fine earlier--what happened, Daiki-chan?"

The other man ran a hand through his hair a few times, now considerably less wild than usual thanks to a recent haircut, and he shook his head in frustration. "It's just--we've been at this for five straight hours now, I guess I'm just getting tired."

Eiji marched over to one of the small tables in the corner, fishing around inside a small cooler for a drink for them both. "If you're tired you need to say so--we can always run to the conbini or something, get a bentou." He checked his watch. "On second thought, we may as well just call it a night--the hall's going to close soon and I have more of my own rehearsals in the morning."

Daiki brought his hands together in an apologetic gesture, "Gomen Eiji...you even cut out early today for me..."

Eiji just waved him off, "Nah, the director was more than impressed enough when I showed up with all my lines already memorized even after missing so much time for HappyPani rehearsals. Takashi's the one who seems to be having the most trouble, and he's already been there over a week now... I'll bet Tsuchiya's having his ear complained off."

"He is bad at memorizing so many lines," Daiki agreed, laughing at the image of their fellow member playing Agony Aunt to his own boyfriend's woes. "...Thanks, though, still."

Eiji looked up from his bag, where he'd been shoving all his things inside haphazardly, and loudly swallowed a large gulp of tea he'd just taken. "For what?"

Daiki stared at him, trying to ascertain if the man was seriously that dense or just hadn't been paying attention to their conversation at all. Instead, he reached forward and snatched the bottle of tea to Eiji's complaints, taking a swig of it before twisting the cap back on and tossing it back at the other man. "For that."

Eiji shoved the bottle into his pack before Daiki could steal any more, pasting on a grumpy frown. "Some way to show your apprectiation," he grumbled for show, but Daiki was all smiles as he gathered his own pack, popping his cap onto his head, not at all fooled.

"How about..." Daiki trailed off in thought as he sauntered towards the door, slowing his steps to allow Eiji to catch up, "...I could make us dinner tomorrow?"

"At your place?" Eiji laughed incredulously, "And with your schedule? I hope you weren't planning on anything more complicated than cup noodle." Daiki whipped off his hat and used it to slap Eiji on the shoulder, who cringed in an over-effected manner, complaining loudly. "It's a legitimate concern!"

"Yeah, but you didn't have to say it like that," Daiki pouted, repositioning the hat atop his head and flipping the row of switches at the door to shut down the lighting in their area of the studio. "I guess I'll have to think of some other way to thank you, then..."

"Hmm?" Eiji wasn't very good at sounding innocent and curious. "Another way to thank your brilliant, sexy boyfriend for dragging himself away from his trying rehearsals to help you with your crappy singing and give you tips so he doesn't embarrass both himself and your theater group?"

"...Something like that. Except maybe a little less arrogant and a little more humble."

"Sorry," Eiji held out his hands in a mea culpa, "Humble's not in Moriyama Eiji's dictionary."

"So I noticed--you walk here?"

Eiji nodded. "Why--did you bike?" Daiki waved a hand over to the bike racks they were passing now. They'd need to head their separate ways here anyways; Daiki was catching his train at Shibuya, while Eiji needed to catch one of the lines further out of the city to his place. "I could...still come over tomorrow, you know. So you can pay me back."

Daiki fished around in his bag for Moriyama-san-gou's key. "Geez, Eiji, don't go out of your way or anything." His voice was peevish, but he was smiling nonetheless. He finally found it, and stood there in front of the other man, gripping it tight in his hand. "You could save yourself a trip...and just come over tonight." He could hear Eiji sigh loudly; they both knew it wasn't possible that night. "I don't like letting debts sit for too long, you know." He looked up, and Eiji was staring at him with a look begging him not to start this again.

"You know I've gotta be at the rehearsal hall at 8."

"I know," Daiki pouted, shifting his bag to his other shoulder and sauntering dejectedly over towards his bike. Eiji followed him dutifully. "Can't blame me for trying though." He turned back to Eiji to say something else, and nearly collided in a spectacular mash of noses and teeth when the other man leaned forward quickly and stole a short kiss from his lips, pulling away as fast as he'd ducked in. "What was that for?"

"Now you owe me two." He gave Daiki's hand one last squeeze, and pulled away. "I'll text you tomorrow. Pick up something good at the conbini--I feel like trying that new milk curry flavor cup noodle."

"All right...but you two better make it quick," Daiki warned as Tuti dragged Takashi off around the corner of the staircase, "We've got over a thousand hands to shake and I'd like to get out of here before midnight--everyone's already gonna be halfway to hungover by the time we even get to the party."

Tuti just waved him off, throwing a look at Eiji that said, 'Do something about him, please?' while he took advantage of the less than five minutes he could spare between the end of their birthday event and the two-plus hours that stood before him to shake all the fans' hands. He pulled Takashi into the small alcove just as he heard Eiji start questioning Daiki and Wasshi about how they thought the event had gone.

"So, you're gonna be in the next show, huh?" Tuti's eyebrows lifted, feigning surprise.

"Guess I kinda worked myself into a corner with that one, huh?"

"You, your manager, us, probably couldn't have surprised the fans more if you'd gone and announced another collaboration--some birthday present."

"Sorry, sorry~" Takashi laughed at the mental image of the crowd swallowing their tongues in shock at the revelation. "But it's your fault anyways--putting me on the spot like that."

Tuti grabbed him by the vest and pulled them closer, stepping one step down on the stairwell so that he actually had to look up to see Takashi. "Couldn't help it--you said you weren't coming, so I just got a little excited."

"Weeell, I wasn't going to come, but..."

"'But'?"

"There was this guy I heard was gonna be there..."

"Uh huh..."

"He's really loud and charismatic..." Takashi leaned his head down a little until their foreheads were touching, the heat of a dozen dances still radiating from Tuti.

"You don't say..."

"And everyone seems to like him, even though he's really kinda annoying..."

Tuti's grin was broad and knowing. "So help me god, Takashi, if you say 'Gaku,' we're going to have to have a serious discussion..."

"Nah," Takashi laughed, his breath warm against Tuti's lips. "I just had to see Ra-Ra-Ra-Randy~ for myself."

Tuti let out a loud bark of laughter, pressing forward the remaining few millimeters to close the distance, when he heard Daiki's hiss from around the corner, "Oi, Tsuchiya! Get your ass back up here!" while further at the base of the steps another familiar form poked his head inside to see what was taking his companion so long, "Takashiiiii, Yamacchan's waiting."

"Gotta go," Takashi stated the obvious, but didn't pull away, smiling at the ugly frown now plastered upon his boyfriend's face. "Your face'll freeze that way if you're not careful."

Tuti just grunted. "Sure you won't come to the uchiage?"

Takashi almost felt bad--like he was abandoning Tuti to 1300 girls' clutches when the guy really just wanted to relax after a day of hard work, but brushed it away. "I've gotta meet with Tenchou now, I told you earlier--and then I've got rehearsals in the morning just like Eiji-san."

"'S not stopping him from draping himself over Daiki-chan all night," Tuti whined some more, but Takashi just took him by the hand and pulled him back up the steps, twirling him around until he was facing the doorway back to where his fellow members were waiting.

"Don't be a baby--go have fun, get drunk, and think of me before you pass out--"

"--Won't be too much effort there--" came Eiji's voice from around the corner. "Hurry it up, Tsuchiya, or we're letting them come through with or without you up here, and you can explain what you're doing in a cramped stairwell holding hands with your hot costar and making them wait." Tuti immediately released Takashi and marched towards the table, already forming harsh retorts in his mind.

He turned back one last time before joining the others, and Takashi waved to him before turning down the steps himself. When he reached the bottom landing, Gaku was already waiting, cellphone in hand as he texted Yamashita-tenchou about their current whereabouts. "Yamacchan angry?"

Gaku shook his head, "Nah, he closed shop, though. Told us to just come on up when we get over there. I told him we'd be another 15 minutes." Takashi nodded. "Some show, huh?"

Another nod. "It always is with them."

Total adorableness on the MorixDaiki front. There is just something... I mean Daiki is the Leader, and him needing help like this... Mori is the only fuku-leader for Daiki ;)

And Takashi = cute, but then he always does, doesn't he? You know secretly Tuti squees stuff like I have a cute boyfriend like some over the moon girly... ahem... I didn't say that... anyway, the one thing I LOVED about the TxN drabble was the whole "Tuti didn't even know Takahsi was going t be there," route... and much love for Daiki in Leader Mode.

Thanks for sharing these!

jfhdkjfhgkjfh *flails* XD You should totally speculate via fic more often. (Which is, I suppose, what you're doing, but... You should do it ALL the time. XDD)

I also really like this line from the Randy fic~ Takashi leaned his head down a little until their foreheads were touching, the heat of a dozen dances still radiating from Tuti. - I dunno why, I just really like how you phrased that. XD And I like thinking of Nagayan leaning down to Tuti~ ♥

This REALLY made me laugh! I love your sense of humor (plus it really fits)! Hehehe... as soon as you Nagayan said "annoying" Gaku jumped into my mind. Poor guy.. XD

And the EijixDaiki fic was tooo cute!! Loved the ending, too \(*v*)/ Naisu, berii naisu!
