So we start off with Yuuri's Coming of Age Ceremony. Which includes things like fighting a sand bear ala the Whack-a-Mole games (WHAT.)

Wolfram's uncle in a flashback to the meeting between the nobles to decide who would replace Yuuri as the new Maou since Yuuri had returned to earth. Conrad informs Yuuri that really it's up to him to continue being the Maou, and that no one would think any less of him if he decided to just return to Earth. Yuuri needs some time to think.

I love the subtle little changes on his face--the first is him getting mad at Yuuri for being late, but then just changes to, "...*sigh* ♥"



I'm kinda ambivalent on this pairing, but this is a really pretty shot of them *_____*

While all the post-ceremony celebrations are going on downstairs, Yuuri's wondering where Wolfram is, and finds this in their room: "I rejoice at His Majetsy Yuuri's Coming of Age. And while I understand this to be very selfish and forward, as of today I, Wolfram von Bielefelt, hereby renounce my engagement to His Majesty Yuuri and beg your forgiveness as I return to my own territory."

Wait, wait okay, CALM DOWN GUYS. CALM DOWN, ME. This can...this can be a good thing. I dunno what the hell's gotten into Wolf or why (hoping to ease the tension on the nobles wanting him to be the new Maou by placing distance between himself and Yuuri? Seeing as he very much wants Yuuri to stay the Maou, it's feasible), but...you know he didn't do this cause of any changing feelings. But this, as I see it, could be the best thing to happen to Yuuram yet.

I mean, look--this way, if anything happens between them, it's cause they (read: Yuuri) actually wants it to happen, and doesn't feel pressure or anything because of an engagement he never wanted in the first place. And me, I'm already picturing beautiful ways for them to get reengaged--from Wolfram slapping Yuuri this time (and Yuuri not even realizing what's happened, especially since Wolf would never take it back XDDDD), or Yuuri slapping Wolf again accidentally (gets pissed at Wolf's stupid logic and smacks some sense--and an engagement--into him? Yesplz?)

Whatever happens, IT CAN BE HAZ NEXT THURSDAY NAO YES???

WHAT? Well, I really hope this is a ploy to make Yuuri realise he really does want to marry Wolfram. DDDD:
"if anything happens between them, it's cause they (read: Yuuri) actually wants it to happen, and doesn't feel pressure or anything because of an engagement he never wanted in the first place" I agree. :) And I hope he doesn't accidentally propose again, I want Yuuri to make that decision fully conscious of what he's doing this time. ^^

(I never finished the first season (though I did skip through the last episode) but I'm very interested in what will happen to them. ^^)

Okay wait... I've been out of it so long, who is Greta, is she really his daughter, and who is her mother/father? ... is she from the future or something? D: SPOIL ME PLEASE! I can't afford the boxset... yet D:

Whoa, you HAVE been gone a long while then! Greta is a human girl who at first tried to assassinate Yuuri (long story short, there was a misunderstanding and she was kinda forced into it), but eventually he won her over, and wound up adopting her. Wolfram took this to mean he was her future father as well, since he was going to be marrying Yuuri, and dotes on her more than Yuuri does at times ♥
