Strike and Stuff

I'm gonna try hard to honor the LJ strike tomorrow (ARGH ;___;) and not post anything, so just reminding everyone on my flist to do the same. I'm half considering putting all the comms I run on moderated submission, too o_O I dunno--is that too nazi?

People who are looking forward to the Myu Drabble Challenge part deux, I'll post it as soon as the strike's over, so start brainstorming what you want to request!!

In other news, Curry Guy brought me back omiyage from Nagasaki--Fukusaya Castella♥



I have to copy a *pnish* DVD to show to the art teacher at my base school, who is intrigued by these guys I go to see so often in Tokyo. I'm thinking of doing Panic Cafe, because it's a small cast, really illustrates what *pnish* is (comedy, dancing, acting), and will be a fun watch. I'm steering clear of the Ons just because there's a good bit of dancing in them too (which won't be as interesting for a 40something year old Japanese woman XD) and I figure something more straightforward and...less gay XD would be best.

Also. What's the deal with this LJ strike? That's probably a dumb question, and I'll probably know the answer soon, as I'm not completely done with my flist reading for today, but for now... I'm confused. ^_~

I just want you to know that the curry guy obviously loves you. Because that is THE castella, you know that right? Like, they sit you down when you go there and serve you tea while you decide which overpriced log you're gonna buy. And it expires quickly because it's made with *gasp* real ingredients. I can feel the love now. ♥

You do realize this means that Curry Guy is madly in love with you, right? And that this amuses me to no end? :P ;)

And I'm also curious: how did he get it to you? I mean, I know he knows where you live, since he had to deliver curry to you basically every day, but did he bring it himself or have it delivered or mailed or what?
