Strange and awesome thing happened today. It made me feel all girly and giddy inside.
In case you don't know yet, I pretty much have CocoIchi Curry (Tuti's favorite curry place XD) EVERY DAY for lunch or dinner. As it's winter and I'm a wimp, I make the poor delivery boys come out to my place in the cold instead of going myself 8D This has made me quite memorable to one of the delivery guys, because when I order at school (which is almost every day) he's the one whose shift it lands on.
He's gotten to where he knows I come by bike, so he'll almost always be waiting for me at the base of my stairs when he arrives if I'm not there yet (this was quite funny one day when I stayed home from work and he almost missed me because he was waiting outside XD). We usually exchange nothing more than a thank-you and such, because salespeople are really distant from their customers in Japan, it feels.
Today, though, we had a conversation o___o And it was FUN XD He asked me where I was from, first (this is all as we're handling a transaction as I pay for the curry) and then when I said America, he asked what state (wwwwtf XD), so I tell him Louisiana, and specify it's in the south. He gives me this gorgeous smile (did I mention he's cute??) and says, "調べておきます！" ("I'm gonna look that up!")
........I can't wait for tomorrow 8DDDDD I hate that I don't even know his name. I'm going to find it out, though >) It hit me only at the end of the conversation that he'd been using my name the entire time (sneaky bastard must've seen it on the order form XDDDD)
ALSO: I have SUPER cheap phone service to most overseas places (especially America--about 5 cents a minute), so if you want me to call you LEAVE YOUR PHONE NUMBER (or email me or something) and we can work something out 8D
