...but who's counting?
Yesterday was Brandy's last day here in Japan (she's packing for the airport right now, and we'll be on our way within the hour), and since she still had far too much money in her pocket, we headed into Tokyo proper to relieve her of it. Our first stop was Animate, where she didn't buy anything and I bought too much--two TeniMyu DVDs for
vanilla_ichigo, and Tatsuya's idol DVD that looks to be too adorable for words and will be ripped as SOON as I step back into my apartment 8D
She was considering buying one of the Death Note soundtracks, but we decided to check one of the K-books further down to see if we could find it later. I thought the same of Oishi's Tsuki no Kidou and wound up not finding it. Dammit XD
When we got back to the first floor, Brandy said she wanted to check out the calendars, so we stopped to browse. I saw a Saitou desk calendar and snatched the bitch up so fast my hand was a blur. After showing Brandy all the anime calendars, she said she kind of wanted something with real guys on it. As luck would have it, there was one calendar with real guys on it in sight--
juudenkanryou, you should love this: she now owns her very own Nachural 2008 pinup calendar ♥ She likes it very much XD And I must say TakiYuki and Shinpei strut it VERY nicely in there...
After leaving Animate, we checked out Mandarake, but there wasn't much to catch our eye--hardly any TeniMyu douijinshi, and I didn't have the strength to pick through the mountains of GP at the time.
We decided to head back over to Shibuya and browse the shops we'd passed Friday, but after not really finding anything, we were starting to get a little hungry, and had thoughts of heading back over to TGIFridays (where we'd eaten last weekend). I confessed I wanted to get something else at Gain, and so we stopped there first, to Yamashita-tenchou's surprise XD
Brandy bought a cute jacket, but the item I had been eyeing the previous day had been BOUGHT. BITCHES. It was a beaded black ring with red beads shaped like a heart woven into it and the words, "LOVE" >_> Who the heck could've bought that in those 24 hours?! Bah.
While she checked out, tenchou-san and I talked, and he asked me again if I was going to the Kitty Guys event that evening. I confessed I couldn't, since it was an all-night event lasting til morning, and Brandy had to be on a plane for America early. Hearing this, he gave her a going-away present--a pair of earing to go with a bracelet she'd bought along with the jacket XD SO SWEET. And then he gave us Gain stickers (??? XD)
I decided to whip out the Gaijin Influence again, and mentioned that Gaku had said on his blog there was some kind of big announcement they were going to make, and did he know what it was. Tenchou-san hedged--he very much did XD But he couldn't tell, he'd promised! Bah :P I figured the news would be up on his blog in the morning, but right now nothing--there are comments though, alluding to it, and people saying they're sure the guys will be busy with rehearsals for a while, so I'm betting it's something like their first opportunity to have an actual performance inside a theater.
Overall, this weekend was way too much fun XD Not looking forward to next weekend though >_> stupid TESTS.
