heh I take a kinda different stance on the thing. I was truly surprised that all the commenters on that site were... agreeing with the canon! because over on the HP comms pretty much everyone is taking it as gospel truth that he was shacked up with Sirius, which I DO NOT SEE as plausible.

I always read his and Tonks' relationship as quite unconventional but really sweet, and exactly what he needed. Maybe it's just me >_<;;

I wasn't so much saying he WAS gay, as being "WTF"ed at the fact that Thewlis seemed to think that, "Hey, they guy had a wife and kid!" seemed to say that automatically made him 100% straight :/ I personally don't think poor Lupin was ever really satisfied with anything in his life, save his marriage to Tonks perhaps at the beginning (and one hopes some at the end too, if he had to go down fighting alongside her), and he's a really tragic character.

It irks me that everyone on that site seems to think just because he got married to a woman and had a baby this automatically makes him...well, like I said XD the straightest thing to ever put peen-to-vag. I couldn't care less about Lupin pairings, as he never interested me enough in canon to carry on into fandom, personally, it's just seeing people act like there's No Such Thing as Bisexuals that makes me go all headdesky [/rant]

yeah I completely agree with you on that XD Sexuality is not a case of two polar opposites!

and it's quite wierd for me, because normally with anything I'm reading/ watching I'm all like 'Bring on the man-on-man love!!' But I suppose I relate to Tonks as a character because she's very similar to me so I tend to get a bit protective of her >_<
