Okay, I have never ever in my life wished I could un-see a movie.

But The Grduge IS REALLY MAKING IT HARD TO SLEEP AT NIGHT.

Why? BECAUSE I LIVE IN A FRICKING JAPANESE APARTMENT.

The little closet where everyone got dragged into by whatsherface and had their jaws ripped off or whatever? GOT ONE OF THOSE.

Really creaky foundation that makes it sound like people are walking above me when I'm on the top floor? GOT ONE OF THOSE TOO.

I haven't slept with the light on since I was super young. I've been doing it for the past 2 weeks.

I MISS MY UNDISTRUBED SLEEP ;__;

I'd REALLY hate to have my non-recontracting form say, "Moving back to the US where there are no ghosts." >_>

...I watched that movie years ago twice. Didn't think I got affected. Then a few nights after, I woke up suddenly at 3am completely terrified, and not even able to open my eyes underneath my comforter. Coz you know..that whole bed scene? *dies*

I hate that the Grudge targeted comfort zones >_

My then-boyfriend decided that film would make a good date movie. I wanted to watch Shark's Tale, but noooo, he didn't want to see that.

I spent the whole film hiding behind my hair with my knees up to my chin, and my fingers in my ears. I couldn't sleep in the dark for weeks, couldn't walk down the corridor by myself if the bathroom at the end was in darkness, and that was in a Western apartment. I hated it.

Luckily my apartment here isn't too typical Japanese. But still. I feel your pain. I suggest a night light or something, and lots of happy thoughts before bed to distract you. I just try and avoid thinking about it, but lord knows, once it's in your head it's hard to get rid of it.

Stupid movie...

It's okay...I saw different versions of the Grudge a while ago (in Canada) and I was never able to sleep properly for the longest time.

Actually...that's a trend with most J-horror movies...or any horror movie in general.

I need to stop watching them, BUT I CAN'T!

That's one of the scariest movies I've ever seen. XD;;; I saw the American version, and thought that the Japanese one wouldn't be very scary, and then... IT WAS. And so was the sequel. @___@ I would have warned you if I'd known, because I can imagine that being in Japan would make some those scenes just a bit scarier... XD;;;;

>.< I watched all three of The Grudge in a day and after that I didn't wash my hair that day. That scene when that girl washing her hair and then there was a hand holding her head? *shivers*

I know the feeling. After watching The Ring, I had to sleep with the TV on until I was sure I wasn't going to die.

It'll be ok, once you convince the ghosts to leave you alone. And besides, there are ghosts in the US, so you won't be free there either.

urgh that movie was scary >.<
but that didn't stop me from my sleeping with the light off
Try to think something happy before you sleep, or watch *pnish* or burimyu or tenimyu first before you sleep. Or just bask in the TxN love, I'm sure that will help you forget all the scary and bad stuff ^_~

hey, that's exactly what I did!! ^^
and... what about thinking of Tuti as a ghostbuster? LOL
*pnish* should do something about that for the future...

Just read my flist and got a bit happier and less scared before sleeping XD

We were watching The Grudge and all of a sudden, the lights went out. Mind you, it was about 8 in the evening then. Creepy, right?

And this is precisely why I refuse to watch Japanese horror movies. I want my time in Japan, whenever that may be, to be free from worrying about ghosts. XD

Oh you poor soul, I feel really bad for you, honestly. I am a little bit weak with watching horror-movies and I wasn´t able to sleep for one week after I watched Resident Evil in cinema >_> And I wasn´t even alone in my bed... I watched "The Grudge" together with my boyfriend and this time he was the one who couldn´t sleep XD The more so when I was able to imitate the Grudge´s sound perfectly ^_~ You should watch comedy-shows after watching horror-movies. At least that´s my way of curing me ^_^
