Well, TeniMyu reached it´s highlight with the RikkaiMyu arc and the 3rd Generation, it´s practically not surpassable, but that´s just my biased opinion. TT____________TT

You know. :P :P :P I'm kind of tired of Adachi getting dissed so much. He can't sing, no, but he really tried, you know? He tried to bring out other sides of Eiji's character in the myus, and if he wasn't bubbly like Nagayan or button-cute like Seto, he still did a good job, and I really think he deserves some respect for that. And not to be made fun of every single time Tenimyu is mentioned...!!!!11!!!! :P Please. XD;;;;;

I prefer Tenimyu over Burimyu myself, actually. Though it's true as people said, Burimyu has never had a graduation and then Adachi and Zukki. xD and the only decent Tezuka ever was Shirotan.

Oh...oh this is going to be a beautiful thing.

First off, I don't know if I ever told you this--but I friended you because 1) You live some 30 minutes away from me XD, and 2) You're a Kanjani8 fan--with K8 being the only Johnny's group I'm really fond of ♥ That said--concert going needs to be happening some time yes??? XD

But as you can see, my life is ruled by a different god, and His name is...well, lots of gods, rather >_> Anyways!

It all started when I was in college and looking for good anime. I realized shortly after selling my soul to Hikaru no Go that I liked slashy shounen anime, and that was when Prince of Tennis kinda came along and took the rest of me into its dark clutches.

Shortly after that, I heard the news that would change my life (I'm dead serious XD)--it was also a musical. Like, stage dancing, singing, costumes, the works. Cheesy as that sounds, I was hooked SO FAST. The singing WAS bad, the acting HILARIOUSLY HORRENDOUS, and yet it was like a train wreck in that I could NOT look away.

The Prince of Tennis Musicals (known collectively in fandom as TeniMyu) are still going on (5 years come next May), and are about to welcome their 4th cast. I've been watching since 1st cast, and after the 1st cast left TeniMyu for their various other theatre ventures, I followed the members.

This led to BuriMyu (or as it's commonly know, Rock Musical BLEACH--yes, a series of musicals based on the popular manga Bleach). BuriMyu's, like, the cool kid of the group. The average age of TeniMyu guys is probably 19 or 20, very young. The average age of BuriMyu is probably 27 or 28, and so it attracts a more mature audience (duh, Bleach is a little more mature than Prince of Tennis anyways). Also--there are *gasp* GIRLS in BuriMyu. Very good looking, awesome SINGERS, though there are all of 3 or 4 of them at any given time (compared to the 15 or so guys XD), but it's very much an adult cast, and I think it's why I like it so much better.

But I digress. Kinda. You'll see me spazzing mostly over a few select people (I'll give characters they play too, if you happen to be familiar with either series): Tsuchiya Yuuichi aka Tuti ([TeniMyu] Oishi Shuuichirou, [BuriMyu] Ichimaru Gin, *pnish*), Nagayama Takashi aka Nagayan ([TeniMyu] Kikumaru Eiji, [BuriMyu] Hitsugaya Toushirou), Moriyama Eiji ([TeniMyu] Momoshiro Takeshi, [BuriMyu] Abarai Renji, *pnish*) + Sano Daiki (*pnish* only) and Washio Noboru (*pnish* only)

*pnish* is my current major obsession--it's a 4-man theatre troupe based in Tokyo made up Tuti, Eiji, Daiki, and Wasshi. They're AMAZING dancers (kind of street-dance style mostly) and amazing actors (I just went to Kobe to see their 9th group performance since they formed in 2001). Mostly comedies, they never fail to make my sides split. They also JUST got their own TV show, so they're getting really popular lately.

With that being said--I very much became an RPSer (Real Person Slasher) with the advent of TeniMyu, and am very vocal about my support of Eiji and Daiki (from *pnish*--you'll see picspam of them ALL the time. There's 3 posts of it on the front page of my LJ alone XDDDDD) and Tuti and Nagayan (who do things like release their own clothing line together and tell each other they're amazing and they feel like they can trust each other with anything and asfhuslifuhlsidfs are generally very gay). Tuti/Nagayan is probably the single most popular RPS pairing in all these fandoms with tutixnagayan about to top 700 members. *pnish* is a smaller fandom in general (compare pnish's member size with the quota on tenipuri_myu XD) and so the *pnish*-only pairing of Eiji/Daiki is, while still popular, definitely smaller.

You'll see me be all spazzy about this because I've been following these guys from overseas for years, and now I'm HERE and MEETING THEM and SHAKING THEIR HANDS and TALKING TO THEM and...yeah, just a complete dream come true. It's like the Johnny's fandoms but so much more...able to be close to the guys XD Everything's smaller, but the guys are still so amazing(ly gay).

Anyways, umm, welcome to the crash-course in Myu fandom XD You can find clips ALL OVER youtube of TeniMyu and BuriMyu and *pnish*, so if you're interested in any of this at all definitely drop me a line! Concert going...CAN happen, but they have to tour again first haha Let`s let the lovely guys have a bit of a break because they just finished the 5-month FULL COUNTRY tour XD (Which was pretty freaking sweet...And I wish I could have gone to more venues now...)

Thank-you for explaining things...That`s actually what I was looking for, and snooping around in your communities list wasn`t helping me much. Other than I must say I have a lot of respect for the fact that the *pnish* fandom seems to respect the fact that one or two foriegn fans can make things yucky or ruin them for everyone...Something a more than a few people could stand to learn in the Johnny`s fandom, I think (-_-;)

We should get together sometime, I`ll bring K8 stuffs (and maybe some Tackey and Tsubasa because I love them lots too <3) and you can come armed with your stuffs, and we can do an exchange! :D Or we can take turns, whichever works!

I don't think I would ever go to a concert of theirs without someone taking me with them, because Johnny's SCARES the mess out of me--despite how much I may love me some Kansai boys, I don't think I fancy tackling their fans all by my lonesome ♥ I saw the concert tour just ended--how long did it last? *doesn't follow news really* When they start up again, though, let's make some plans!

I'm pretty much BROKE after this coming up weekend (going to Tokyo for the Shonen Onmyouji musical :D) so I'll be sticking around Shiga til next payday--how are your weekends? (or actually, what's your job? o_O I think I thought you were JET...are you?)

As for their tour, it started back in May in Kanagawa, and then they hit ALL 47 PREFECTURES over 5 months, finishing last weekend in Okinawa :D I ended up being able to go to Shiga, Fukui, Hiroshima, Tokyo, and Osaka...Even though I wanted to be a brat and go to Fukuoka too...I was good and decided to save my money for later concerts <3 (And I cannot beat the last show I went to...XD) Not to spam your thread with questions, but who do you like in K8?

Weekends...Are touch and go...This weekend I`ll be going to Ishikawa for a dance competition (I do YOSAKOI Soran dancing), but then I have two weekends off and then Toma`s musical in Osaka <3

Yeeeaaaah XD I just saw someone else on my flist link to the video, and even Kansai boys cannot make hotpants...hot XDDDDDDD And wow--EVERY PREFECTURE? Holy shit, I gotta take my hat off to them--THAT'S dedication.

As for who I like--I gotta admit, I always stayed away from Johnny's, because really the fans scare me XD I think I've seen too much wank from there in the past, and then some of the girls I see around... *shudder* definitely not a fandom I wanna wade too far into, and thus while I can pretty much recognize all the members by sight, I only know a few names (and yet I have a humongous stak of K8 magazine pages and last year's calendar...>_>). But I do have a special place in my heart for Subaru ♥ Mostly cause I love his voice for some strange reason, and also because he owns a Blossam shirt (Nagayan's line of clothing sold only in a teeny tiny little store in Tokyo the size of my kitchen and that, like, NO ONE outside of Nagayan's own fans owns--so I'm wondering how HE got it) XD I'm easily influenced.

There are definately some not nice people in the fandom...And if you ignore the wank, it`s really fun. But you have your own love already, so you`re fine (^_~) Actually, I have gotten to fed up with the fandom myself lately...But I love these guys so much that I just ignore (or try to ignore) stupid people and just have fun.

I`m a Yoko fan...Which may or may not be obvious already hehe And if we talk RPS, then I am all about YokoHina because they are lovely together <3 (They`re radio show is amazing, awesome, sweet, etc etc etc...And they`ve been doing it together for 3 or 4 years now, so it`s such a wonderful chemistry that they have. And it`s funny to listen to Yoko flirt with the callers and just imagine Hina smacking him for it later).

coz tenimyu is full of people about same age as me, if you exclude the rival schools. and kids, i'm sorry to say, don't have much appeal :x

and burimyu was much more unexpected than tenimyu. in tenimyu, you're 200% sure there's a next show. with burimyu, every show gets more and more valuable.

you don't know when is the next one. you don't know what it's going to be about. you don't even know if there's going to be a next one. i remember nearly every time, tatsuya says something along the lines of "let's hope for a next one!" or "if there's a next one". you never have that in tenimyu.

and that is why, the world screams with burimyu and moans with tenimyu :D

Yep, I was gonna say more or less the same. Like, we thought NCitBH would be the last bleach musical, and now they just kill us of a heart attack saying there will be TWO at the same week!! Much more interesting than Tenimyu's "hey, and the next one..." way.

Do you know if there will be a hueco mundo musical? Or at least, do you think it will be?
And even if they make it, we still don't know if the cast is going to be the same or not :(

personally? if this proves to be a huge hit, i think they might do it. but the probability is very low.

in the flyer they were saying how this is the last one, and i doubt KT can finish off this arc for burimyu, because burimyu has a much faster pace than the manga :x

Yep, I know Hueco Mundo is so different... I mean, in my opinion, the Soul Society arc was easier than Hueco Mundo for a musical about it... But CATHARSIS FOR ETERNITY looked so cool...

The ticket presale date was included with the flyer, and now pretty much EVERY FC/mailing list I'm on has sent out info on it too (*pnish*, Nagayan, Nelke's online magazine).

I'd LOVE to get people tickets, but unless you give me your own credit card info (and it has to be a credit card) I can't do it--I only have enough money in my bank account to reserve five tickets, and that's already going to tap me out since I have at least 4 people who want to go to at least 2 shows each already.

If you've got the money and are comfortable sharing your info with me, get it to me ASAP and I'll try and reserve you tickets when they go on sale (which is VERY soon btw, less than a week). Other than that though :/ not much I can offer.

In a fangirly sense, because it will be hard to top 3rdCast myus. I'm more anxious than excited about 4thCast, really.

Logically, it's probably because no one knew that BuriMyu would be back for another myu, never mind two, whereas everyone knew that TeniMyu would still be going on and it was just a question of WHEN the next one would come out rather than IF it would come out at all. So. ^^;

Because we all knew Higamyu was coming, since Kite was cast. Plus, the cast made it seem like there was no more Burimyu ever again. So it's surprising.

That being said, I don't think there's more excitement, just more surprise.
