"I believe that..." Meme

This isn't really a meme, but I wanted to do something like this, and I hope a few of you take this, too.
I kinda wrote up five things I "believe." Now, these are five things that I really, truly believe, from the depths of my person. If you do this, don't put up things like, "I believe ______ is the embodiment of awesome!" Don't say you believe it here unless you really truly are being serious about it.
1) I believe that anyone can be anything they want to be when they "grow up." It's the growing up part that's hard. I know people older than me who aren't "grown up" yet, and that's sad.
2) I believe in a higher power. I believe in the power of prayer. I believe in intelligent design. I consider myself very logical and reason-based, but this is one thing you're never going to move me on. I won't try and convince you otherwise, but keep in mind you won't convince me either. Too many things have happened to me in life that I can't trust that there's something bigger than me at work.
3) I believe that Tsuchiya Yuuichi is attracted to men. Perhaps not only men, but I believe that he has looked at something with a penis at some point and thought, "...I'd hit that." I believe he has, too. I believe that if Japan were America, he would be out.
4) I believe that the best feeling in the world is having someone to talk to on the same level as you, who feels the same way about something you like (or don't like). I believe that the worst feeling is having no one. I believe I would have gone crazy, with everything that's happened in the past year, if I hadn't lived with
kooriyoukai.
5) I believe I'm going to find out the truth, one day, about everything I ever wondered. Whether I will still remember I even wondered it when I do remains to be seen.

Date: 2007-05-26 04:34 am (UTC)i believe in the power of prayer as well, although i am not religious. and i admire that you are not trying to convert people.
a question about number three. why did you choose tuti and not nagayan? does this mean you aren't sure about nagayan?

Date: 2007-05-26 04:40 am (UTC)For #3, I'm not sure, I just...get definite "could be straight" vibes from Nagayan, and not so much from Tuti. Read: not at all from Tuti XD I also have more to go on, because I pay more attention to Tuti in the end. I have more blog entries to reference, interviews, images. Maybe Jamie would say Nagayan for #3, but if we're being completely honest, I just don't know about him :P

Date: 2007-05-26 01:41 pm (UTC)And #3, we think the same thing. Absolutely. If Tuti were an actor in the Philippines he'd SO be out.
... Actually, now that I think about it, I agree with everything you wrote there.
