Another beautiful day...
10 December 2010 09:30 am...So, I don't know who the lovely anon was who renewed not only my paid account but my userpics as well, but...thank you :3 I didn't mean to sound like a whiny, needy brat, and in all likelihood I would've just renewed eventually after I got fed up with losing my customized comment pages and all but 6 userpics or whatever, but still XD; I'm annoyed at LJ nonetheless, so I'll probably continue to rant about them :P
IN OTHER NEWS THOUGH, today is a new day, and it's time to bitch about something new! That new thing is:
MY PHONE!
Yes, ladies and gents, all is not sunshine and roses in the Big Mikan for Courtney's phone. Unfortunately, I've had to make a temporary downgrade. Hopefully a very temporary one, but a downgrade nonetheless :( And I'm not happy about it.
My lovely Android phone, an IS01, was top of the line when it first appeared! ...So of course I went ahead and bought it at the first opportunity, which was stupid :P Because now here I am, 5 months later, with a phone that likes to freeze, dim the screen to black, and then restart! Twice or so a day! Yaaaay!
Given that this is not conducive to actually USING said phone, I had to take it to the AU shop. Three times.
Time 1: "Oh, let's try taking out the battery! Let us know if it works!" Nope.
Time 2: "Let's try resetting it to factory settings and removing all of the applications!" Nope.
Time 3, yesterday: "OK we'll have to send it off to the maker to see if they can fix it! Here, have a loaner phone!" (please be aware that the phone in that pic is new, and the phone I actually received looks like it was manufactured in 1995 and has since been handled by about half the population of China and played chew-toy to a schnauzer. It is a sad, sad phone).
So instead of going back to America with my snazzy new Android phone I paid my hard-earned money for? I'm probably going to be taking a POS with none of my contacts or emails or bookmarks or anything on it. I'm really not happy with the customer service of ANY business lately :/ Seriously people: how hard is it to give your clients WHAT THEY PAY FOR?
