Well, two more days left now of teaching. Thursday and Friday I have to give my closing speeches to the schools, and Monday is a holiday. Next Tuesday and Thursday I have to do stupid English speech contest practice with my psycho teacher, and Wednesday I've convince my favorite teacher at my nearby school to make up some reason she needs me to keep me from having to go to the far away one for even MORE speech contest practice <33333

In a fit of good mood and realizing that I don't have to be at work in Tokyo for my new job until 9:30 in the morning (meaning I can leave my house in Tokyo around 8:45-9, while in Hikone right now I have to be at my desk at 8:15 which means leaving my house around 7:30--another extra hour of sleep FTW!! I'll probably just get up at the same time though and use it to bug [livejournal.com profile] kooriyoukai), I decided to see if there were any tickets left for Tuti's long-run starring-role show in August/September, Arashi ni Naru Made Matte (the Tokyo shows alone are from August 6-31).

Dropped by FamilyMart after work, checked every show I could make it to, and wound up walking away with a 6th row ticket (pretty far off to the side, but not the worst XD) so I'm SUPER close--there was a 4th row for another night, but it WAS the furthest to the right, so I passed for this one). Not bad for getting it over a month after the sales date XD

So if anyone wants to do demachi August 19th, it'll just be Tuti that anyone knows, but...well, I'll probably be there :P At Sunshine Theater in Ikebukuro--there are still PLENTY of tickets. Also, if anyone wants to do demachi for another night (...do they even HAVE a demachi waiting area in Sunshine City?), let me know, I'm totally up for it XD

I can't wait to move _o_ It's so hot, there's no breeze, and even fanning yourself constantly doesn't help. I will do whatever mundane work you want of me, just KEEP ME COOL.

Also, I think I want to go get a new mp3 player tonight :/ I don't want to spend more than 15,000, because I don't want anything fancy--just something with a decent sized drive that I can bike with. If I have to bike an hour in this heat, I sure as hell better have Nagayan singing soothing songs in my ear to keep me happy >(

Anyone know how (or if it's even possible) to set Windows so that you can install Japanese-language-Windows-only software onto it?

I've installed Japanese software before with no problem (my scanner), but I just bought a hefty piece of equipment I'd like to use (mp3/video player), and the installation CD is telling me that it can't be installed on an English version of Windows, as does the installation handbook.

It looks like I can still drag-and-drop stuff manually and all, but if possible I'd REALLY like to use the software that came with it. I'm waiting for it to charge up so I can see how hard it's going to be without the software, but does anyone have any idea if I can set something in my regional settings or something and the software can install?
