Would anybody be interested in buying An Integrated Approach to Intermediate Japanese and/or The Genki II Text and Workbook?

I no longer need them (never REALLY needed them in the first place >_>) so I'm looking to get rid of them. All were brand new when I got them, and show a little wear, but nothing bad at all. There's a few notes in them, and I did one or two of the activities in the workbook, but didn't tear any pages out.

I'd like to get $25 for the first, and $30 for the Genki+Wkbk if I can, but I'm mostly looking to get rid of them, so if you want them for less, let me know and we might could work something out ^___^

These are excellent books for intermediate (2nd year or better). The Genki is probably better for a school student, while the Integrated Approach one is better, I feel, for more advanced/self-study-ers.

Let me know if you're interested at all--I figured I'd throw it out to you guys first :)

Yeah, Genki2 starts off at lesson 13, and is set up pretty much exactly like the first. Would you want to workbook, too? I guess the only thing to know about that is it doesn't come with the answer book, so you couldn't really check yourself.

Darn. I was too slow. lol I'm using GenkiI as well (hovering around chapter 5). I have a question: Would you be interested in translating a few magazine articles? And if you were, how much would you charge? They would be the same quality of the other scans and between 2-3 pages, I think?

Aww, sorry~!! I actually didn't expect anyone to jump for them that quickly o_O But re: the magazine articles--sure! Based on kanji content, I'd usually charge $10 for half a page, $20 for a full page interview. So, like, if it's a page and a half, $30, etc etc ^____^ Lemme know what you think (what kinda article?? *curious now XD;;;*)

Nothing too interesting this time I'm afraid : ) I was looking through Pash 8 again and found an article with Zukkii and Araki and have been trying, rather unsuccessfully, to translate it (or at least get a general idea of what being said). If I understand correctly the article is about how they joined D-boys and their debut. You don't really hear too much from them so I wanted to get the article translated (for fan-girling purposes). Hmmmm...Its 2 pages...I wonder if I love them $40 worth? Perhaps I should take up a collection. lol

Mmm, pre-D-Boys D-boys XD Well, you can always do a page or so, see if it's interesting, and then decide if you want the rest XD That way you don't waste your money on something that you already knew everything about anyways ^____^

Here's a little summart ^____^

Page 1 starts off with the boys talking about their first impressions of each other, and Zukki says Araki was a sexy boy with floofy hair ♥ Then the interviewer asks how their impressions of each other differ now from when they first met. They then segue into talking about each other's personalities, and how they feel around each other (Zukki talks about how Araki is probably the person he feels most at ease around).

Then they talk about going out and eating together some, and the interviewer asks if they ever go out anywhere (READ: DATE) together if their days off fall on the same day--to which Araki answers, "What are we, lovers?!" XD

In the second page, the interview then goes on to talk about how the things they like are the same a lot (brands of clothing, etc) but they like different types of girls. Then it goes on to discuss what kind of drama they might like to do together, something they'd apparently been talking about recently.

They continue saying they want to do something with just the two of them as the main acts, and invite other D-BOYS now and then. They're also thinking about branching out into making things, like clothes brands and such. Araki wants to make jeans, and Zukki's thinking about a T-shirt.
