SO, lots of news!

1) Tuesday I start my new job as a Japanese Student Instructor, YAAAAAAY!! I'll be making twice what I'm making at World Market, but then that's kinda offset by the fact that I'll only be working 2 hours a week XD;;; But I get my own classroom to use, and get paid no matter if students come or not, and I finally get to teach people the way I think they should be taught~~♥

2) That will be 5-6 PM, then at 8 PM kooriyoukai and I are going to Coffee Station (right around the corner zomg) to partake of the Conversation Table put on by the Japan Club (a club made up almost entirely of Japanese international students at A&M)--the president of the club came to World Market the other day and I got to talk in Japanese, then they told me about it 8DDDDD

3) I got a weird random email from a chick in Japanese asking me if I would be their English conversation partner. It was really short, and not the style I'd come to expect of Japanese people when corresponding, so I sent a reply back asking for more information and stuff, and got this back:

日本語がとっても上手なので、ほんとに海外の人か気になります

Your Japanese is so good I'm actually a little concerned whether you're really a foreigner...(haha)

英語とか英会話とか、いろいろ検索したら出てきたので。

After searching for "English" and "English conversation," it came up.

東京のIT企業で働いてます。
海外出張とかあるので、英会話が出来ないと非常にまずいんです。
ほとんど話せなくて。。。
つい最近も、ロスに行ってきたところです。

I'm working at a Tokyo IT enterprise.
There are trips overseas involved, so it's very bad for me if I can't speak English.
And I can hardly speak it at all...
Recently I even went to Los Angeles.

This should be fun though XD I sent her a reply asking about her English background, how much she knows, that kind of thing--but half of me wants to talk to her in Japanese only XD Saaate~ CHAAAAALLENGE! *determined*
