First off, *clears throat*
Shuuhei, not Shouhei XD I was so excited when I found out his name, I promptly forgot it ♥ I kenw it was one or the other, though XD at least I never CALLED him by that name (because I wasn't 100% sure I was right), but some of the guys who sit behind us had been in a group with him before and learned his name too, and they called him by it to aska question, so I heard it clearly XD So yeah, Shuuhei. Hee.
Also, this thing I have where I lose any and all Japanese ability in the face of a cute guy? NOT ON. I've decided the only way I'll get over it is to speak to more cute guys. *shrug* whatever works.
alskdfhsdlfjksdf HE APPROACHED ME TODAY. Yeah, I know that sounds weird. So, I was walking to Japanese, and it's in this building where I have to walk through this huge rotunda area to get to the hallway where the class is, and it's always packed with students. So I'm walking across it today towards the hall where Japanese is, and out of the corner of my eye, I see someone walking right towards me from the side, kind of waving XD Well LOOKIE THERE IT'S TOM-SAN. He's all smiling and genki and walks with me the rest of the way to class--it's love, ladies and gentlemen. I ask him how his weekend was to stop awkward silence from settling upon us, and he proceeds to tell me how much he studied, and what he studied, and how he has two tests this week, and I'm feeling like Aunt Agony and LOVING IT ♥♥♥
OH andandand I think I made a fool out of myself, because I tried to talk about the difference between American theatre and Japanese theatre, and at first he looked at me and was like, "...you mean old plays?" and I'm smiling like an idiot and going, "Noooo, current stuff" and god help me I tell him I follow Japanese theatre, WHYYYYYY??? *flails*
I want to graduate now :<
PS - I think it's Coming Out week, is it? I know there were tables set up with rainbow flags decorating them, while one of the corp guys (THE CORP GUYS, THE HONEST DECENT CORP GUYS) handed me a little leaflet citing the Bible verses where it says how wrong homosexuality is.
Oh Texas. You land of contradictions you.

Date: 2006-10-09 06:37 pm (UTC)But I know people who go there who are very liberal and accepting, and when they had that traveling gay rights fair come to A&M I remember reading how most of the students welcomed them and they had a peaceful dialog.
But yeah, I totally know what you mean about Texas. Houston probably exemplifies the whole "land of contradictions" thing itself. ^^;
