lsdkjfhsdjlf SO. SO sososososososo I went to Japanese today, armed with The Skirt (for no reason.....really), prepared to be bored with the lesson but happy with the company to my left, and I wasn't disappointed for the most part, til George-sensei made us break into groups of three for our "chiisai geki" -_-; Yes, the whole "let's have fun performing skits in front of the class together :DDDDD" crap. Meh, at least I get to write it. I play a nagging girlfriend, which I've realized is going to be so much fun ♥ Sadly, Tom/Shouhei isn't in any of the groups, he's the "helper" or some such crap.
So, class ended with me headed home to write up some script, and I happened to find myself walking alongside the looooovely Shouhei again, and tried to play hard-to-get by messing with my phone.
And then of course he struck up a conversation XDDDDDD I'd asked sensei in class about a kanji mistake he'd made (read: I pointed out how he doesn't know kanji >_>) and I guess it sparked him to finally ask me how I knew Japanese--if I'd been taught before, or lived in the country, or what. I explained my humble *coughcough* upbringings with a swelling of pride (or was that my head? XD) and he did that cute little Japanese "Ooohhhhh" asdlkhagsdja And then asked if I had plans to go there--to which I of course said yes, to teach English/do linguistics studies, that kind of thing.
SO he asks where. I waffle and say nowhere in particular, but that I did want to visit, like, Osaka, and Kyoto. Why, he asks--cause I like the dialect I admit XDDDDD Why again, he asks. Cause I love how it sounds!
"Oh. You know, I speak Kansai-ben usually."

"I'm from the Kansai region originally."
