Tsuika Kouen fuuuun~~!!

I was bored, and when I'm bored and don't want to do REAL work, I do stuff that sometimes yields little surprises, such as diary-diving on the TeniMyu site!

From the June 21-25, 2003 entry, I found...

"At last it's started, rehearsals for the rerun of Musical 『Prince of Tennis』! Things started off as planned, with rehearsals focusing on Nagayama-kun and Morimoto-kun, who were just starting. But then, Kimeru-kun, who had a relationship with these two beforehand, came in, and depending on the scene, the other regular members began to show up."

I'd always wondered how we knew that Kime and Nagayan were friends (as far as I knew it was something just assumed, since no one I'd talked to could tell me where exactly it said that they knew each other before TeniMyu), so now I know XD ♥

July 10th, 2006

"Then, after that were song lessons practicing tunes familiar to those who went to see the Golden Week performance."

Here, one must note that before this point rehearsals had been Nagayan/Morimoto-focused, with choreography the main focus there. No singing lessons yet. So, one must ask oneself, how many times must Nagayan have gone to see the first Myu to know the line from the Regulars song well enough to spout it off so easily the first time he met Tuti since he'd never had singing lessons with it yet? XDDDD

"Today was racket practice. Morimoto-kun and Nagayama-kun immediately start taking lessons from Tsuchiya-sensei on how to hold it and swing."

While this in itself is a fun image, Tuti teaching Nagayan for the first time, I'm more interested in this picture. See what Nagayan's wearing? Now look at this one, a scan of one of the pictures from the tsuika kouen photoset of Nagayan's. So yup, that means that look of intense concentration there? Focused aaaaallllll on Tuti ♥

Here's a little excerpt from the Question/Answer session:

Question: Are the cast members friends outside of the theater as well?
Answer: (Acting as representative, Oishi Syuuichiroh's actor Tsuchiya Yuuichi will be answering) For me, I'm friends with everyone... I was relatively good friends with Buchou (Takigawa-kun), but from when he first started taking part in rehearsals I got to communicate every day with Takashi (Kikumaru's actor Nagayama-kun) so I feel that we became good friends. Look forward to a shining, splendid☆Golden Pair for the performance!!

Ah-HA!! Okay. Good to know, about Kime and Nagayan having known each other before. I'd been half wondering if that was more "fanon than canon," so to speak. :P

Nyaaa~! XD XD XD That's just so... XD I mean, every day? Really? That really makes it sound like every day OUTSIDE of rehearsals. @_______@ And I'm happy about finally having proof of the Kime/Nagayan friendship thing too... ^____________^ Thank you for getting bored. ^_~

I love how Tuti goes on about how great a GP they're going to make when GP did, like, NOTHING during that myu XDDDDD Though it makes me wonder, there are little things we see from reports and all about how much more GP stuff there was (or rather, that the GP chemistry was 50 times better here) than in the original performance....XD
