TeniMyu ponderings

I've been looping on repeat in my car on the way to and from work a mix CD of nothing but Old Cast, from TeniMyu #1 to GradMyu (that means Seigaku only), and listening to it today, I had a thought about how sad it is that I never got to see these live, and never will.

So, a question for everyone: If you could have seen any one TeniMyu ever, any of the casts, which would it have been, and why? (Doesn't have to be a specific performance like "The DL1st evening performance" unless you want it to be)

For me, it would have to be any of the More Than Limit performances (though I must admit the Kobe senshuuraku sounds particularly appealing :D). I used to think Dream Live 1st was my favorite Myu, but really, I think overall I am just in love with More Than Limit. Singing voices started improving (*cough*Tuti*cough*), I loved the rival team, and there was still an element of finality to it that made it special--hearing Now and Forever at the end still chokes me up ;_; and it isn't even the GradMyu version.

Yes, for all the crack that sounds like it went down during it, I think of any TeniMyu ever put on, if I could have seen a StRuMyu, I'd have been one happy duck.

What about you all??

ETA: Also, if you could ask ANY Myu-associated person ANYTHING (and seriously, think of it like standing with them waiting for a train or something, with fluent Japanese at your disposal and awkward introductions over with), what would it be?

Well, DL1. The big good point for me is that you can scream and sing with them. 8D
And it features the best Makezukirai version~ ;_;
Do I need to talk about the fanservice, ha ha.

I'd like to see Burimyu too...T_T

-Asking Ueshima if some members of the cast got REALLY close
-Asking Nagayan how much his life changed since he met Tuti.

God I hate you. Here I was, happily reading along, and right when I got to the "any one TeniMyu..." of course "St.Ryu! It's gotta be St.Ryu!!" popped into my head. So of course you would have to say it in the next section and totally ruin any hopes I had of being uber cool by my fandom pimpin declaration :P

But yeah. Nacchi pointed out that she'd like to see DL1st and mentioned the fanservice, but the more we've learned about these shows the more I'm getting another, probably more realistic perspective on how and why things went on, and in the case of DL1st now I'm almost unhappy at the thought of watching it live. Knowing that fanservice was given so scripted and deliberately is just grating, really, maybe more for us, and while I still think the scenes are incredibly adorable and will always be special for me on a GP level, when it comes to Tuti and Nagayan that scene is actually more painful to watch XD; But St.Ryu is when things got different, when they truly became stage partners like they'd been trying to be all along but kept hitting set-backs, and really you just see their chemistry and friendship blossom both on and off stage. That's really the sort of thing I would have liked to have gone to see every single night to mark all the changes and cute additions ♥

As for the myu-related person... I guess it would be either Mori, or Tuti, doesn't matter which - and I would ask them how the hell pnish learned on their own to be a dance group when no one had any previous experience with it, or if they did, who was it and how did they learn and how long did it take them, etc etc. It's like this big black hole in my head about how they got to doing all that stuff when they were supposed to be a theater group, but instead got into SINGING and then DANCING?? It boggles, serious XD

I'd say MTL, too (because that's where the TXN chemistry was really...BOOM! XD). ^^ Or HyoteiMyu...lol (because the Hyoutei cast is perfect...plus...Saitou...Ruito. Mmmm!).

As for asking any myu-related person anything...I'd ask Takumi if he'd like to marry me. XD Haha...

Kind of torn between Dream Live 1st and More Than Limit, but...
As much as I adore Dream Live 1st and all the fanservice and awesome and streetclothes and such... I kind of have it bad for KENN and Shio, so I'd want to see SeiRu on stage as well as being able to see the awesome that is the GP moments in that myu.


And I'd probably ask Nagayan why the hell his blogposts are always so freaking short. XD No, seriously, I'd want to have a discussion with him about blossam and clothing design and such, because his stuff really encouraged me to get back into design.

No, really.. It's just the thought of never being able to attend a Tenimyu ever just hurt.. But if I was to choose to go to one, prolly be Hyotei.. I'm a huge 2nd cast & Saito Takumi fan, the story was great, the songs were great, the Atobe vs Tezuka match. Too bad there couldn't be both Mizuki & Yuuta at the same time.. I'd pick the one with Mizuki because he's squishy. XD That and my best friend is one huge Katobe fan, she could be there with me ;~; *dreams*

DL1 is in the back of my head too.. I really loved it, Tuti & Nagayan XD; Kimeru just makes me laugh.. and I Love Sota..

Ahh.. but prolly would've picked Hyotei over it~

I'm definitely with you on More Than Limit. @__@ (Although I think I might die, seeing Depend on Me, and Jyuuden Kanryou AND the GP stuff. @__@ But it would be a good death.)

And as far as asking Nagayan... Wow... What would I ask Nagayan? @__@ Maybe... What his favorite role has been? No, no, that's dumb. :P Uuuuuuh. I mean, in a perfect world, I'd love to ask him something weird... The meaning of life as told by Nagayama Takashi. Or... What true happiness is for him, but... That's also really weird and dumb. (Don't you love my thought process? XD;;) But honestly... I have no idea what I would ask. XD;;; Or wait, maybe... Maybe I'd want to know what his dream role would be. *nodnod* But I'd probe him to be honest when he started being all Japanese about it, telling me that he loved every role because it was all so inspiring and exciting, etc. :P Because.... Uhm.... honestly, if it were any of the 'stage' events, I'd actually choose Perfect Live. *sweatdrops* I have this horrible horrible weakness for Hiroki Takahashi and MinaJun and Suwabe and TsudaKen.... But if it were just any of the Myus, I'd have to say HyouMyu Winter, last show. For Yanagi's graduation, and because I would ADORE seeing Araki show off just how big of a DORK he really is even when he's just dancing in the background. *dies* Plus, audience participation? Good lord, I'd love to be part of that crowd filling in the lyrics for Araki, competing with Kujirai.... @_@;;

It could be a conversation about something as inane as the weather, but anything that would let me hear Abe's optimism and sweetness... *_*
