1) I have a 2-inch long scar on my right forearm now where I got sliced by a barn owl talon this summer. I hope it never goes away.
2) I have an unhealthy obsession with Dr. Pepper.
3) I could comfortably carry on a conversation with a Japanese person and I've never taken a class in my life.
4) I read six books this past summer. 2 trilogies. One had gay main characters, and the other had very slashy overtones. I blame epicyclical.
5) I have never had and never plan to get my ears pierced. Needles and I just don't get along.
6) I have never had and never plan to have children. They're fun to look at, but I don't want to take one home.
7) I have bought five things from Amazon Japan and paid their exorbitant shipping costs ($15) every time.
8) I have bought one thing from Amazon UK (Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, UK adult version).
9) I hated my parents for the first time in my life last February--like, really hated, and still feel horrible for it even though I don't believe I was in the wrong.
10) I fenced epee for four years in high school and one year in college, though I'm having less and less time now. D: LOSE
11) I have met three of my online friends in real life as of Saturday, Sept 3rd. psycho_ann, arisugawajuri, and reppu. Not including my real-life buds who happen to be on el-jay, 'course.
12) I have translated Japanese porn for masses. Het and homo (male).
13) I bought a loaf of bread before school started, ~Aug 20th. I haven't opened it yet. It's still with all the rest of my food. I'm scared to look at it now.
14) If I seem it online, I'm not outgoing at all unless I know you pretty well. I hate making phonecalls to ANYONE.
15) I have over $1000 worth of software on my computer I haven't paid for (who doesn't?). And all I use is Photoshop. I wish I knew how to use Premiere.
16) arisugawajuri's Napalm gif scares the shit out of me.
17) I never listen to the radio nor watch TV at school unless there's some special reason to (i.e. an election).
18) My little brother just told me over AIM that he failed a Wag test (CMHS people will know who this is), and it made me unbelievably happy that he asked me not to tell our parents, because he needed someone to confide in.
19) I used to fully support Bush because my family did, and was against gay marriage for the same reason. Color me undecided now.
20) I think my breasts are too large. Do you concur?

Courtney has a scar? awesome. I have a tiny one on my left pointer finger knuckle. I don't remember exactly but I think its from picking at a scab for a month solid. Yeah. I was a special child.

And contrary to the promises of its title, the UK adult version just has a spiffy non-cartoony cover (a real picture of "Advanced Potions") :P

I couldn't put either one down, and I HATE fantasy. It took slash to get me to read them.
