fencer_xSo 8D If you haven't realized, I made it home fine XD And now I'm on the tail end getting ready to go back across the Pacific~
Christmas was good to me :D I received money for a new bed (my old one is a) too small for me and b) breaking XD;;;) which I'll be procuring as soon as I get back and can get them to come pick up my old one! I also received a new sheet set, complete with comforter, for said bed, and it has a familiar pattern on it :DDDDD (it wasn't coincidence, btw XD; I picked it out ahead of time and it was waiting all nice and wrapped for me under the tree <333). In addition to this, I received a wad of cash and a few Best Buy gift cards, which I immediately threw back at Best Buy in exchange for a 32gig 4G ipod touch XD;
While I've grown to really like it, it makes me realize what it would be like with an iphone vs. the android phone that I have now...and I really think I'd go for the android over it :/ It's got great response and feels smoother than my android, and the interface in general is really pretty, plus the touch at least is really small and thin and light. But it feels like 90% of the apps are pay (even if it's low, like 99 cents or something), whereas I was always hard-pressed to find pay apps on android. All the great fun apps that were free on android, like a lot of the card game apps I enjoy, are all pay unless you want super crappy quality or hamstrung apps on the touch :/
But I digress! Where it lags in cheap, decent quality apps, it excels in playback XD The sound's amazing, it's huge and can hold all my library with room to spare, and it's great quality for video playback too :3 a sound investment, all things considered! Also a blessing during those awkward family trips to see relatives when all I have is that and a neighbor's leeched wireless signal XD

1. What did you do in 2010 that you'd never done before?
Spoke more than otsukaresama deshita to Tuti and kind of felt good about it :3 Meiji-mura went a long ways towards reducing my Tutiphobia XD I love him, but I get so nervous around him (because he's so very obviously nervous around us :P), so that was a big deal for me XDDDD Also, on several other occasions, I worked more towards not being so uptight around famous people when trying to use Japanese and generally not embarrass myself/foreign fans in general. GO ME!
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
No resolutions, but...since I was Responsible (askfaded_lace and yomimashou!) somewhat towards the end of 2010, I'd like to continue that into 2011 and clean up my room! As in, finally unpack some boxes I haven't really sorted through since moving XD; Also, SAVE MONEY. Since I have a hard time doing that :/ Wish me luck? :)
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
I don't think so? I don't have much contact with anyone who's married/having kids XD; And none of my family did either sooooo.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Not yet :( I keep waiting for the shoe to drop, though, and send me into fits XD; Umm, how about my will to Not Ship certain people? :D
5. What countries did you visit?
None that I hadn't before XD; So, Japan and the US!
6. What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010?
The ability to FINISH stuff I start. I have several large projects that I'm working on and that other people are counting on me for, and while I do not lack drive, I lack...well, focus I guess? So I want people to be ON ME saying, "Courtneeeeeeey did you finish THAT THING yet???" :P
7. What date from 2010 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
While I had a ton of amazingly important dates this year, possibly it'd be May 8, or the second day of Dream Live 7th, the first one I saw. While senshuuraku was possibly more important overall, I'll never forget the chills that ran through me or how I teared up that moment when 1st cast stepped on stage and I realized I was finally seeing them, my cast real and in person for the first and last time ;____; *grabs* I miss that feeling...
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Umm, I guess getting some confidence in speaking (particularly to fairly famous people)? :3 I hate being put on the spot, so when I get to converse with people I look up to and don't freeze up? This is an accomplishment :D Also, starting projects (that I intend to finish) like subbing MahaMo with friends!
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not saving hardly any money. Again :/ Blargh.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Thank goodness, no XD;;;; I messed up my ankle for a couple of weeks some way I don't know how, but it healed on its own and is as good as new XD;

I absolutely cannot choose D: Amazing tickets to DL7th senshuuraku? Tickets for 3 to Meiji-mura with Tuti? My first smartphone which made me realize now I can never live without one ever again?? All of the above :D

Hot fucking DAMN everything! Last old-cast BuriMyu! Booze Cruise! ShibaTora2! MahaMo DVD! DL7th with 1st and 5th casts! HP9 back in Shibuya! Western Mode! 29384923 T2 events and shows NOT TO MENTION HARD TO HOLD ON DVD :DDDDDD 2010 was a fucking amazing year!

I. happier or sadder? Sadder I suppose, because people I was really close to left Japan, TeniMyu's over for my fave cast, BuriMyu's over for the only cast I ever knew, and I don't like change that much :|

Hmm, possibly Lynn Flwelling's new Nightrunner series addition Glimpses? But I'm also enjoying the Guardians of Ga'hoole :D

Uh, that ipods are really good at playing music? And Sony is really good at manufacturing headphones!

A new bed! Well, the means to get it at least. Hopefully nothing goes wrong and it comes fine XD;;
