fencer_xSeveral important points must be made in this post:
1) 4 days til new True Blood episodes! Woohoo! I'm getting kind of annoyed at all the super ecstatic countdown posts, but that's just cause I've had to see them for the past few months XD But I really am excited for the new episodes, especially since the 3rd book was the only one I really liked! Yaaaay Alcide~
2) Randomly sat down on the train to work this morning beside another woman who works in my office, and she spoke really good English~ :D I'm always impressed XD
3) Found, oh god yes, ramen noodles in my local mini-mart! Me--I just want the NOODLES and some flavoring, that's it. No veggies, no mystery meat, just the basics! Bring it to me freeze-dried or whatever and gimme a pot of boiling water and a minute on the timer! DINNER OF CHAMPIONS, LADS. It was soooo delicious last night, and it's gonna be juuuuuust as delicious tonight when I make it again. And it came in a 5-pack for 458 yen! Woohoo CHEAP GOOD FOOD!
4) In other "awesome food finds", I found my long-lost English muffins again at the 7-11 by my work yesterday! SO EXCITED. I love bagels/English muffins, but they're very hard to track down in things like conbinis or local groceries. However, very rarely, they'll pop up in a 6-pack or so at 7-11, and THEN I POUNCE.
5) The new TeniMyu comm is coming along nicely :D We're almost up to 200 members--which is peanuts compared to the other comms' 2000+, but we've been more active in the past 48 hours than the others have likely been in the past few weeks XD So I'm happy about that :D Better a small active comm than a huge one of leeches! I'm working on a more personalized layout, also, atm (probably a version of this one -- thoughts? I may keep the current one if I can figure out how to stick in a header. BECAUSE I WANT A HEADER GDI)
6) My new laptop needs to GET IN MY HANDS. My uncle shipped it last Tuesday, but I dunno how--so I'm not sure when to expect it. It is a Sony and it is bright pink (like, Nataraja's phallic elephant hat pink 8D) and I am naming it パスコン after Pasupata :D And because Nataraja and I both have complexes involving him~

Date: 2010-06-09 03:07 pm (UTC)Man, I'm so getting melon soda like the second I get off the plane...I like that the new Tenimyu comm is getting a lot of action. :3 And as far as suggestions I have for the layout, all I hope for is some cool Tenimyu background image at some point. :3 I like the format so far, but I like the version that you're hoping to modify, too. <3
And I heard from your other post that you just got your laptop! Congrats! 8DD
