fyi it wasn't a shop, it was an event -- Super Comic City, where ~100,000 rabid doujinshi lovers pile into the huge event space at Tokyo Big Site and wander the aisles stocking up on doujinshi from sellers for pretty much any and every fandom imaginable :D The TeniMyu sellers aren't as well represented now as they once were, but I'm sure you can imagine XD;
And SCC is nothing compared to Comiket in August and December-- which attracted nearly 600,000 people last year and almost 40,000 circles (that's 40,000 groups of people selling their doujinshi...to 600,000 buyers). It's a religious experience 8D
It's also a really fun chance to see these girls in the flesh who draw the doujinshi, make friends, let them know their stuff has an appreciative foreign audience, etc :D I highly recommend it if you ever get the chance! ;)
