BuriMyu updates
5 February 2010 10:51 am--voice-overs have been all over the place! While it appears to have started off going in order of first-billed, at this point there's no telling who it'll be. The stats thus far for Tokyo are:
2/1: Yasuda and Kuri (taiin)
2/2: MoriEiji :D
2/3: Tuti :DDDD
2/4: Nagayan and Inoue :DDDD
Nagayan's and Inoue's was especially cute XD as Nagayan was all pouty/grumpy and Inoue was all excited and "Taichou ttara~" XDDDD
I noticed this first during MahaMo, and I dunno if Tuti does this every time he has a fight scene, but...HE NEVER LOOKS AT THE PERSON HE'S FIGHTING WITH. WTF? In MahaMo, I noticed it during the Nataraja/Pasupata fight, where Tuti had his eyes closed during their chest-bumped up-close moments, which confused me...and then I saw it AGAIN during their Gin/Hitsugaya fights--not eyes closed, but very much resolutely not looking at Nagayan, not looking at anything really. Is this just some weird quirk of his? When he has to be that close to someone and get his moves down perfectly or else risk making a wrong step and messing up their whole routine, he just has to take himself "out" of it all, maybe? Of course part of me wants to imagine it's because it's Nagayan XD But I'm trying to figure this out... It seems to weird and yet still so Tuti o_O
On another note, yesterday (2/4), the audience was quite rowdy and loud, shouting out encouragement to the cast, and usually they'd all take it in stride and it was cute :D However, one truly adorable moment came at the end of Bengara Koushi XDDDDD
When all four are standing after their bows, Rangiku thanks the audience and Hinamori and Hitsugaya. Usually, feeling left out, Gin then asks her, "...And what about me?" waiting to be thanked.
Last night, though, when he did this, there was a beat of silence, and from the audience came a voice calling out, "ドンマイ!" (donmai, an encouraging phrase meaning "Don't mind/don't sweat it/chin up!") XD Everyone laughed, and then Rangiku looked at him, smiling, and repeated. "...Donmai." (Usually she doesn't say anything at all, just ignores him XD). Rangiku then left the stage with Hinamori, leaving Gin and Hitsugaya alone as usual.
Hitsugaya saaaauuuuntered past Gin, then paused and did his little backwardsbend to look back at Gin, smiled, and said, "......donmai." And then just walked off, and that was it for Tuti XD who wandered off after him, muttering between snorted giggles, "nani ga 'donmai'...?" ("What the heck are you talking about 'donmai'??") The audience was CRACKING UP XD I'm extremely disappointed they likely won't stick it on the DVD, because it was adorable :P
The uso contests have been great lately, most because Tuti's taken to calling on Nagayan quite a few times :D And usually as a FOURTH contestant (there are typically only 3 participants in the uso contest, but twice so far Tuti's decided they can do a fourth, and has chosen Nagayan both times).
I was sick as a DOG Wednesday evening and most of Thursday (like, fever+coughing+throwing up :(((( ), so much so that I actually called in sick to work for the first time since I got here :/ Felt well enough to go to the shows, though, and despite still coughing up a lung or two, now I'm feeling much better--which is good, because tonight is dun dun DUUUUUN!!! FRONT ROW CENTER NIGHT! I was FREAKING OUT a few days ago because it seems there are 2 patterns in which the cast come down into the audience for the last song--and one of those patterns would have made Tuti stand in front of me and stare down at me for a good few seconds. However! The gods of fate and whatnot have deemed that it's just cruel to do that to me when I'm already going to have to stare the man down next weekend trapped on a boat, so the Tuti-on-the-front-row pattern happened LAST night, meaning it won't happen tonight :D yatta~! I think Eiki comes down there in the other pattern...we'll see!
