Today was Day 2 of Maharaja Mode in Tokyo~
I had an extra hour to kill today, because I get out at 4 PM on Fridays instead of the usual 5. This was nice, as it gave me time to relax and have some nummy Burger King before the show, so I wasn't grouchy from a lack of food. Also got PAID today, which put me in a double good mood ;D
Notes from this show were:
--good lord, the sheer number of times Nagayan yells, "fuck me!" in this show is staggering XD And the best part: he always yells it at the worst possible times, like when it's supposed to be a dramatic moment and such XD I started wondering today just who taught him how to properly express it, and that kept me giggling creepily for a good while XD It also reminded me of the GP fic where Oishi gets a hard-on every time Eiji curses 8DDDDD
--There are actually quite a few instances in the show where Nagayan and Daiki bumpasses. One of the first ones is during the opening dance with Nataraja, Pasupata, Shiva, and the Super Hindis. Today, though, Nagayan tried to bump, and kind of missed it (Nagayan does have a bigger target than Daiki, you must admit), and threw off Daiki, who then smacked him across the head for it XDDDD
--today (only today? I dunno) across the hall in Sunshine Theater, there was some special Saiyuki event going on. This, then, explained the loud laughter the audience erupted into when Son Goku introduced himself today and one of the other characters, after a beat, went, "...Oh you mean like from that event that's going on across the hall??" XDDDDD lolirl
--There's a scene where Nataraja sneaks into the castle to see for himself whether or not Vishnu has been possessed. However, of course, it's not that easy to get an audience with the king, so he has to distract the guards. He does so by claiming there's a woman loose inside the castle, so they get all excited and scatter to look for her. Today, Tuti started a bit where, when he said the word "woman" he mimed...feeling his own breasts. Like, got all sexy and played with them, bouncing them up and down. And know this: when I say "breasts", I don't mean your general A, B, Cs. I mean...he mimed like he had...I dunno, TRIPLE Gs OR SOMETHING. And this? Has convinced me the guy must be gay. You know he's never seen a real woman's breasts if that's his idea of them.
--In Nataraja/Pasupata news (new stuff doesn't happen, I just notice it 8D), during the scene where Shiva is being attacked by the palace guards under orders from Niganda/Vishnu, Pasupata jumps off of the stairs--where he'd been watching with Nataraja--and joins the fray to try and help Shiva. As soon as he moves to jump in, though, Nataraja reaches out for him and calls out, "Pasupata!" to stop him ;_; God but Nataraja's so angsty XD;;;;
--during the scene in which Eiji's character welcomes back Shiva, he always wraps him in a big bearhug before releasing him. Tonight, though, I dunno what happened, but he went to grab Daiki, and just...overbalanced. And fell backwards, pulling Daiki. Down. On top of him 8DDDD V.v.v.v. awesome XD
--I found the huge MahaMo poster! Going to take a pic in front of it with
daiki_dansu tomorrow :DDDDD
--random: I've started being able to pick out what part of Thane's speech gives him that horrible foreigner's accent that we try so hard to get rid of. His Japanese is amazing, and 95% of the time he's indistinguishable from a native speaker, but now and then... in his case, about half of the time he pronounces the "sh" sound like the English "sh" (Japanese "sh" is very similar, but not identical, and you can tell when a foreigner says it wrong). In semi-related news, though: I saw one of those short English lessons they show on the Yamanote on the way to Ikebukuro for the show...AND THANE WAS IN IT! XDDDD Daiki made a post about it a few days ago (here), and so I recognized it when it came on XD
On a final note: *pnish*'s fans all ship TxN. That's the only explanation for this:
In Kobe, as I mentioned, at maeraku, Tuti announced he would be doing the miokuri....with Nagayan (and Mako-chan). At this, the entire audience started tittering and squealing excitedly. I was happy, but then reminded myself how very popular Nagayan is, and that it was entirely possible all the excitement was due to Nagayan being out there, and not necessarily Tuti and Nagayan being out there.
So tonight, when Wasshi was announced as the miokuri member, with Nagayan and Mako-chan joining him...I expected much the same tittering, squealing excitement. What did I get?
Calm, dead silence. Nothing. Just like most of the others had been greeted with on announcing who would be with whom.
Obviously those screams weren't just because the girls were excited that Nagayan was going to be doing miokuri period, but rather at who he was doing it with :DDDDDD
